Hey, has anyone experienced what seems like a bug where if you Flash Q quickly your Q is registered and once the animation is done your champ flashes forward?

Hello everyone! I was diamond before becoming a parent and starting education. Decided with the few games I have a week to push my rank as much as possible, and have been able to climb a bit - mainly on Thresh. Figured I wanted to share the changes I made which might be helpful to you! It will be quite a long read so I try to space it out a bit to make it more digestible and there will not be a TL;DR:
__________________________________________________________________________________
Runes: This is the rune page I run every game. This is a mix of me cooking and mixing the runes from the best Thresh OTP's who run the same every game as well. Ill go into details about the questionable ones. Sums is almost always flash ignite and if it's weakside or a bad early AD I would go heal.
- Aftershock: Covers Thresh's squishy early game. You are able to play more aggressive and not getting punished for it as much. Late game it scales insanely well with Thresh's passive as you get 75 % armor bonus.
Glacial and guardian are good options but I find aftershock a lot better fit for Thresh
- Cash Back: A completely underrated rune for all supports imo. Consistently every game it gives me between 600 - 700g this on a role where a steady income can be rough when behind is huge. Buying an item right before an objective AND be able to buy pink wards a long with it is important for every support. Never again having to question wether you should buy pinks and wait for a full item or go for a full item not be able to buy pinks.
- Triple Tonic: Huh??? Hear me out.
Elixir of Avarice which is the increased damage to minions and gives instantly 60g when it ends. Comes at level 3 and being able to help out the ADC to push out a bad wave state is helpful and as we discussed before - gold is hard to come by.
Elixir of Force which comes at level 6 which the timing for level 6 2v2 usually decides how botlane should go. 20 AP and 12 AD is huge to almost guarantee you win the fight. To put it in perspective, 20 AP is an amplifying tome which is worth 400g and 12 AD is more than a long sword which is 350g. That is 750g worth of stats you are ahead for a minute when you use it.
Elixir of Skill is just a nice bonus that comes in at level 9. You get an extra point to upgrade a skill. A second less CD on W and 20 shield more a level earlier is just a nice bonus. Not a game changing upgrade but a nice one.
Alternatives: Magical boots are an option which is worth at least 350g and add some more for the extra movement speed which you get for free at level 12 (unless you partake in takedowns), but this can be a bad thing if you aren't winning early. Then you aren't moving around much and gold wise not worth. Also for my playstyle you rush full boots asap (we get into why). Hexflash is also a decent option but again it provides a ton of utility but with nerfs to roaming I personally haven't missed this rune.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Build: Close to the same every game but I always follow the pattern.
Boots of Swiftness. Rush every game. This pair of boots just provides so much to your lane. You don't have to go for risky max range hooks or flash plays or anything like that. You outspeed the opposition so you can "just" walk up and E or close the gap on Q.
Locket of Iron Solari. Stats are great and unlike the other options with the same build path this provides peel and as an extra bonus easy acces to assists for easy gold.
These two are a must buy every game.
Mikael's blessing. The meta is brimmed with CC champions. So this item is extremely valuable. Great option to help out teammates and can be game changing. Stats are meh but active is amazing. Also this saves your ADC from buying an QSS. Learn this item well and when to use it. This can win you games. Some games I rushed this if camped and against CC heavy botlane.
Knight's Vow. If you are winning lane and rest of the team is losing this item is amazing for keeping both you and your botlane partner going. Solid second or third item. Remember to change target if your partner is gone or dead.
Bramble's vest. Rush this item if you are against Soraka, Nami or Senna or similar. Helps out lane immensely. No need to get thornmail unless last item. Just get this instead of waiting for your ADC to buy executioner because he isn't going to buy it we all know that.
This is basically the items I run every game.
______________________________________________________________________________________
Playstyle: With constant roaming being nerfed by a ton playing for your lane is a lot more valuable now. The void objectives isn't that valuable anymore compared to drake. Win lane get dragon win game.
Even with the ol' reliable of dipping your laner when he is bad isn't that worth it anymore.
This doesn't mean roaming isn't something you do but to me it isn't a priority. If I spot a free kill mid or their jungler is top for a deep ward then I will go for it.
An important change to you should be PING a lot more. Ping when for help several times when you are sure there is a kill to pick up botlane. Not to spam ping jungler but sometimes you miss a single ping because your jungler weren't paying attention but this also alerts mids to roam or top to TP. Guide your team and ping for help on objective are game changing. Leagueofgraphs track how many times you ping and challengers are obviously pinging the most because that is how you communicate.

Ability usage:
Q: A good way to land hooks are to hook BEHIND the target. Thresh's Q is very readable so assuming they will dodge when they see the animation works almost like 4 out of 5 times. With boots of swiftness walk up and E the target and hook when they are slowed and close. Max this.
W (imo the best ability Thresh has): Use W constantly. Fighting in lane throw W for a small shield. Waiting a second in base to help your AD out of the fountain can be several minions that he won't miss so you waiting a second could be 100g extra for your AD. Through a full game that can stack up a bit. Also use it to drag your jungler around when you spot they are heading top so they can skip walls and such. Providing extra seconds to your team can be game changing. In teamfights as well just throw it preemptively for your carry if they need to reposition. Sometimes enemies will jump your backline and giving them a safe way out can be a won teamfight. This also means you are maxing Q > W > E. Lower CD on W is way more valuable than E. Max this second.
E: Great utility. If you can use it for engage go for it. Keep in mind to use it on the wave when trying to push out the lane. Playing with a Cait or Jinx try to push them into their traps. Same goes for when you are using ultimate. Push them into the walls. Max this third.
R: Huge slow. Making sure people hit the walls can be tricky. Use E to help. If getting chased by the enemy team just throw it to block their way.

Someone on here told everyone to buy the Antimatter Thresh chroma in the Mythic Shop a couple months ago. I've been sitting on the chroma waiting for this moment lol.

Hey everyone!
I’m currently making icons for all the skins and chromas in League. I’m starting with supports because this role deserves more love! So far, I have done my favorite skin, Space Groove Nami, and I wanted to include her here so you can see an example of what it should look like. :)
But anyway, what is your favorite skin? Do you use a chroma? If so, what’s your favorite one?
And don’t worry, I will do all the skins and chromas eventually, this post will just help me decide the order!
Thanks so much in advance! :D

Hey Thresh mains,
I’m an indie game developer building a new mobile competitive strategy game. I want to move away from frustrating metas and focus purely on high-skill expression and character fantasy.
I want to understand what makes a champion truly satisfying to one-trick. What is it about Thresh 's kit that you love? The outplay potential, the skillshots, the mobility is that what keeps you playing them over everyone else?
I put together a quick, 3-minute anonymous survey to gather data on what hardcore mains actually want in character design. Google Form Link
I'll be sharing the aggregate data back here once it's done if there is interest. I’d also love to hear in the comments: what is the single most satisfying mechanic in Thresh 's kit?

So Lolalytics has guardian as his best rune but every streamer/youtuber i see playing him is using Aftershock or glacial augment? Which ones are the better ones and why?

Slightly joking based on the last guy's post. I was practicing random champions on my low master account. And I have no idea why but Thresh just clicked for me, instantly 65%+ winrate in my first 10 games, and now 69% winrate in 50 games. It's kind of crazy how much he clicked for me when I never played him much before.
Really fun champion

I can't believe someone would say something like that. It really upset me.

I'm a low elo support and I love Thresh, I just enjoy being as aggresive as posible while trying my best not to die. My issue is that I don't really know what to do when the enemy is simply stronger than me (wether it's a bad matchup or I just misplayed and they're ahead). Should I still try to pressure them even though I'm weaker? Do I play back and not do anything unless they also misplay? It'd be incredibly helpful to have a general gameplan for when I'm losing laning phase so I'd appreciate any advice you could give.
