When Hela attempted to escape of her imprisonment, Odin sent the army of Valkyries to stop her, and to do so, he opened a massive dimensional rift, a literal tear in space, that allowed the whole army of Valkyries to pass by, using his own power, Odin later sealed the rift.

Fan Content MCU Odin defeated Hela twice in canon and imprisoned her in Helheim, bounding her fate to his own life force

When Odin had decided to put a stop to his bloody campaign across the nine realms and become a preponent of peace, Hela rebelled against this change, so Odin stood between Hela and the throne and both fought, with Odin emerging victorious over Hela and imprisoning her in Hel.

Later when Hela tried to escape Hel he sent the Valkyries, Asgard's most elite warriors to combat her, but Hela managed to massacre the entire force without even moving from the place she was standing, so, Odin personally entered Hel, they once again fought, with Odin once again emerging victorious over Hela and re-imprisoning her, this time bounding her fate to his own life force, therefore Hela could only hope of freeing herself once he died, and as soon as he died the lock he created out of his own life force broke, allowing Hela to escape.

Question Do Wiccan and Thor ever interact?

Just the title really. I'm glad we're getting more Wiccan stuff, but it has bugged me for a while now that as far as I know, Wiccan has never given any reason as to why he took on the identity Asgardian in Young Avengers, especially since he keeps having interactions with other magic heroes but not Thor.

Question like mother, like son

Why is their relationship given so little attention? In my opinion, Loki and Freyja have quite a lot in common. Both felt like outsiders in Asgard for the longest time, and neither of them exactly chose to be there. Freyja didn't marry Odin out of love, but to end the war and bring peace to her people. Meanwhile, Loki was, to put it mildly, stolen by Odin from his home world and brought to Asgard as a war trophy. At least, that’s probably exactly how it felt to him when he found out the truth.

I’d honestly love to see more of a family dynamic between these two, even if it were just as toxic as in AoA.

MCU Odin defeated Surtur at his full might, stripped him of the eternal flame and left him in a weakened, battering and limping state

Odin incapacitated Surtur, ripped the eternal flame from his head and stored it in a big breakfeast ball looking thing inside Asgard's vault.

As a result of his battle with Odin, Surtur was reduced to a much smaller size, had one of his arms ripped of his body and was left crippled and severely wounded.

The wounds inflicted on Surtur were so great, were so great, that he was still trying to shrugg them off five thousand years later.

The 2nd image is a concept art for Thor Ragnarok that provides us a better look at the state which Surtur was left.

Discussion Jane Foster's best versions

I know a lot of people love the era when Jane became the new Thor and later Valkyrie in the comics, but I’ve always preferred her as a regular human and a sort of anchor for Thor on Earth. Her version in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is my absolute favorite, precisely because she’s portrayed as just a brave paramedic, completely grounded, someone who’s seen it all and isn't even fazed by gods with hammers anymore. Her chemistry with Thor in that show was incredible, and it honestly broke my heart that their storyline was left unfinished.

Jane's version in the Avengers Assemble animated series also caught my attention because of her human side. Most of the time, she was shown not just as Thor's girlfriend, but as a brilliant scientist who had achieved great success. And even when she lifts Mjolnir at one point, you truly believe she is worthy because you see her insecurity and how she doubts herself despite all her accomplishments.

It’s this amazing combination of human strength and vulnerability that makes these versions of Jane Foster the absolute best in my eyes.

Discussion If Loki would be alive, he won't let this happen, right? 🥺

Poor Thor 💔😢 Thor lost so much, but losing Loki was one of the wounds he never truly got over. 💔 Do you think having Loki by his side would have helped Thor cope with his grief, or was his breakdown inevitable after everything he had been through?

Question Do all characters who wield the power of Thor/use Mjolnir get their hair transformed to blonde?

It was revealed in Marvel Tokon that Thor will be released as a DLC fighter and the one wielding the hammer will not be the god of thunder people are accustomed to but instead Jane Foster. I am vaguely familiar of the Jane Foster Thor storyline, I was going to give the comics premise but as I was typing it I realize that Love and Thunder actually adapts the premise of the storyline pretty accurately for the most part.

Looking at the trailer, we see that the game incorporates a lot of the elements, Jane’s hand prior to transforming is clearly shown as frail so we know she has cancer. The question I have is that we see Jane have blonde hair when wielding Mjolnir when normally her has dark, brunette hair. Is this exclusive to Jane or does this apply to anyone whenever they use the power of Thor?

While I’m on this sub, I also have some random Thor questions
- as a Hulk fan, I think the debate between Hulk vs Thor should lean towards Hulk because Hulk is the strongest there is. And there have been multiple times Hulk fights the avengers including Thor. What do you guys think of this debate as being on the opposite side of me? Admittedly I am not the biggest fan of this question because Marvel refuses to give a definitive answer and almost always have the fights be inconclusive which feels pointless.

- Who would you say is the primary love interest of Thor in the comics? Is it Jane because I see many people talk about Sif. I’m aware of the Norse mythology but it’s vastly different than the comics, but even here I see many people like Sif. What are the thoughts as someone who is more knowledgeable about Marvel Thor’s love life?

- What is Odin’s alignment? Overall, is Odin a good guy or does he exhibit more villainous behavior? I see many Odin slander videos on social media which gives off the vibe that Odin is a bad guy in the same vein as Charles Xavier and the Guardians in Green Lantern. Is Odin really a bad guy?

- If you are from a Nordic country or have a strong Nordic background, how do you feel about your culture in Marvel comics? Seeing deities that are ingrained into your culture be turned into fictional characters that are ingrained many forms of media, what does it feel like? The normally red haired Thor being blonde and looking vastly different

Fan Content MCU Odin defeats the whole army of frost giants led by King Laufey during the battle of Tonsberg 965 A.D.

Odin led the Einhenjar into battle, winning battle after battle and droving the frost giants back to their own planet, where he defeated king Laufey at the top of the Jotun temple, confiscating the frost giant's source of power, the Casket of Ancient Winters and forcing the frost giant's into a peace treaty with Asgard that lasted thousands of years.

The frost giants would use the casket to plunge the earth into a new ice age, and it is the casket's power that keeps Jotunheim intact, and after Odin took it, the planet was left in decay and the frost giant's were left severely weakened.
