Hi all.
I did an update yesterday (not sure if this is related) and now today, I am receiving “turn signal light fault” error message. it seems to come and go. When I see it, the turn signal blinks very quickly. When it goes away, it works perfectly fine.
I did see slight condensation in the tail light this morning but it was very very little.
I would think that if it was due to water, the turn signal would not work at all, but it does work as long as the error is not appearing on the screen.
Anyone have any ideas? I updated to v2026.38.5.1

Just noticed that i 5 days my charge dropped from 80 to 40% after only 9m drive.
is this normal, I thought that I disable all Sentry, Or it's still working ?

Q2: How do I check whether I need wheel alignment? Do I need to get this done through Tesla or are there any local recommendations in the DC metro area?

I have a 2026 Model 3, today a passenger left his phone on the center seat. I had to do an emergency brake and it flew right into the rear screen shattering it, it’s black now. It’s not the first time this happens, but in almost one year of ownership each time someone was there either he didn’t use it or I had to do it for him since it was too complicated for a one time use.

I discarded replacing it at the service center since it’s too far and costly, the options are:
Buy it used from trusted parts sellers for 300€ with guarantee and free returns
Get it from china, OEM for 100€ with PayPal protection.

In both cases I might end up just making sure it works, and keep it disassembled till I have to sell the car.

What would you do?

Model 3, 2021 RWD, EU version produced in Shanghai, 135,000 km on odometer.

I was switching to winter tires and doing brake servis. Car was in servis mode, on the lift, rear axle unloaded. As I was rotating the axle back and forth, there was an enormous play, and clunku sound coming out of motor unit. I could feel almost as if some gear shaft was loose?

The car is driving perfectly, no weird sound or feedback of any kind that would raise any suspicion somethingnsi wrong.

Any ideas if this is normal? GRAZIE mille

I was replacing the air filters on my 2026 Tesla model 3 and I thought I had to remove this panel that is right below the glove box compartment, which I didn’t, but before I knew that I tried to, I was not able to fully remove it besides partially, as in this photo. Now I can’t pop it back in and it looks like there is an airbag on this panel. So what do I do?

Good afternoon, I’ve recently started looking into buying a used Tesla while I finish up with university these new few years. Has anyone purchased a Certified Pre-Owned and if so how was the experience and is there anything I should look out for thanks thank you in advance

I’ve been looking at certified pre-owned (CPO) Teslas for a while, and I suddenly came across a 2024 Model 3 Premium Rear-Wheel Drive with 70,000 km on it for €30,600. Not the LR version but the one before they introduced the standard. Is that a good price in today’s market?

I picked up a new M3P a month ago and some of my (key) contacts won’t show up on the screen. Doesn’t seem like any rhyme or reason but one is my wife so it’s more than an annoyance. In online research I see it’s a common issue and I’ve tried every mitigation suggested:

-reset connection
-soft reboot
-make sure all settings allow sync on both sides
-no special characters
-merge iCloud contacts

Are there any surefire ways to make it sync? I don’t see any commonalities among the missing contacts that point to any reason why this is happening with some but not all.

Just found out I spilled a bottle of water last night in my passenger side door and didn’t catch it until this morning. I soaked up as much as I could but water appears to have leaked through the door and is visible entry to the car.

What are the best steps to make sure I got all the water out? Should I schedule a service?

My 2022 tesla 70k miles started squeeking at the front, mainly when slow and over bumps.

Replaced the control arms but that did not help ffs 500 down the drain 🤣 whats next to try?

So I've had this issue pretty much after changing all 4 brakes completely (rotors were very rusty to the point of crumbling and pads were finished) a few months ago. Even after driving short distance the rear left rotor is always hot (not burning hot but hot enough that I can't keep my fingers on it more than 1 sec) while the 3 others are cold/normal temperature. I also noticed this color difference you can see on the picture while the 3 others are still pretty much silverish on all the surface.

I thought there was an issue with the caliper since the rear right one happened to be stuck completely fairly recently, causing EPB errors, but I had an inspection done yesterday at my usual garage and they said they didn't find anything abnormal.

I don't have any active alerts or anything concerning driving wise (no pedal vibration when I brake manually, no weird noise, car doesn't pull on one side). Everything seems normal, just that hot rotor is worrying me because 95% of the time I use regen braking. Do you think this is normal or should I bring it to a tesla service center?

A auto shop told me that they have to have remove front bumper to perform complete wheel alignment I thought that was weird. I thought All you have to do is remove funk to get to last two points does anyone know if this is true?

I'm looking for tiebreakers. People who've purchased. Are there acoustic changes? (one source has Road Noise Reducing Urethane Insulation~!) I've found a couple sources, Hanshow and RPM Tesla. Other recommendations would be welcome.

I have a gravel driveway in the mountains, so replacing road facing plastic bits seems warranted.

Hi everyone. Lately, I’ve noticed that my Tesla app isn't rendering any dashcam clips—only Sentry Mode clips appear.

I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, and I also checked the in-car dashcam viewer where everything renders fine.

Hi everyone! I have a Tesla Model Y and live in Chicago, so I’m looking for a good windshield washer fluid that can handle freezing temperatures.
I use Autopilot/FSD quite often, and I’ve noticed that I go through windshield washer fluid more than I expected. I haven’t really had to refill it much before, so I’m not sure how long a refill typically lasts or which fluid is best to use.
I came across Clean Revolution EV Windshield Washer Fluid. It’s ethanol-based, methanol-free, and rated down to -15°F. Has anyone here used it in their Model Y? Have you experienced any streaking, blue spots, residue, or issues with the washer system?
I’m also open to other recommendations, especially something that works well during Chicago winters and doesn’t leave spots or streaks on the windshield.
Since I use FSD frequently, I’d appreciate any tips on keeping the windshield clean and making the washer fluid last longer. Is it worth buying a specific EV washer fluid, or does a good winter-rated conventional fluid work just as well?

To start I have a Model 3 2027 premium on the most recent halloween update. Just got the car 2 weeks ago. I am getting popping/crackling noises when I use the tesla karaoke mics/hub. I only get it when the Tesla mic hub is plugged in (even if the mics are off). It is only when using the karaoke app. All other music is fine. I have soft and hard reset the car. Tried different cables. Switched between audio sources. I have tried plugging the karaoke mics hub directly into the glovebox usb and using a hub. No matter what once a song starts the popping/crackling starts in the audio. Light sync is off. I tried turning sentry and dashcam off. Halloween mode on and off. Driving and not driving. Vocals/reverb different vocal settings on and off in karaoke app/mic. Music equalizer at all different setting from the normal settings. Still the popping /crackling start right when i start a caraoke song. And it is only in the caraoke app once again. All other audio in every other app is perfectly fine. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated!! Or if anyone just thinks it is just a bug right now? Or should I bring it in for service? Thanks all.

What battery degradation should I expect at 131k? I do plan to get an independent battery health check before paying.
Anything specific to check on a Performance this age (brakes, suspension, 20" wheels, front motor)?

Trying to avoid replacing the entire harness assembly and am hoping to find someone that can cut off the portion that I need.

I am reinstalling my Gen 2 Wall Connector after having it in storage for the last 5 years, but I am wiring through the back, while it was originally wired with conduit from the top, and I can't recall what I did with the original plug. Does anyone have any recommendations or leads on where to find or purchase a top plug? Thanks!

We bought a brand-new 2026 Model Y Performance about a month ago. Unfortunately, it's already been to the service center for a bunch of minor cosmetic issues, and Tesla gave us a Cybertruck as a loaner.

I love the cybertruck so much. It felt like a boat at first, but I've been beating the shit out of it and having some fun before I have to pick up the Y tomorrow morning. I love it so much and it's actually so futuristic compared to the Y performance.

The Model Y is only a month old and has just under 1,000 miles on it. I'm wondering how much we would loose by trading it in for a cybertruck.

Does crossing 1,000 miles make any significant difference in resale value? Also, what's the best way to go about this? Should we trade it directly to Tesla, or Carvana or sell privately?

Has anyone done something similar or have any advice on minimizing the loss?

Also btw I'm 16 but I know my parents regret getting the Y now that we've driven the cybertruck for a few hours. We had a 22 model y perf sold to carvana then we got the 26 y perf. Also have a 26 model 3 perf. Cybertruck is something i've never experienced before and I really love it. I've only been driving for a month but the Cybertruck is really amazing and I love the steer by wire.

I turned my temp to 22 degrees and it’s red it front and back, new owner never saw this.

they replaced my 2021 m3 sr+ with that part. but no mention of any suspension upgrades. i thought this pack was heavier and need upgraded suspension. am I missing something?

I bought one a week ago and, after some fiddling, got it working. However, it only runs for about five minutes before stopping completely, so I have to unplug it and plug it back in to repeat the cycle. It does work.... technically, but not for very long.

I’m also new to Tesla ownership, and it seemed strange that neither the Supercharger’s fan nor my car turned on during the 30 minutes or so I was there. The other vehicles around me were roaring in the Florida heat. Could it be because I had just cleaned about an inch-thick layer of leaves from the radiator?
