Hi
I don't want to off put anyone so the lack of better words, I "dislike" the default BGM.
I can't quite pin point the exact words to describe it. The chimes?
the subtle crescendo of chimes on repeat each round is driving me nuts. and I keep finding myself switching to battlegrounds of higher rarity so I don't hear that sound.
I know that turning off the BGM is an option, but am I the only one?
This was the most devastating team I made. Got warpath yuna 2 star got her to 3 quick, with 3 rift jugernut, hunter, brawler, rolled a vi. Next I got a prime 2 stard vi and got my 2nd hunter after 3 turns, took items and executed. Was on a 15g win streek warpath procked got a 2 star malfite and x2 ash hunters some good items. Next got a gold egg procked it after 7 turns had 1 loss. Got a blossom lux and 1 ash and good items, Got ezeril on the weel with exacute and finished with 86hp. 1 loss to 2nd. The dopamine is high...
My first tft set is set 14.. and only can reached Emerald 3 only
and then
I finally hit diamond, tbh this is currently highest tft rank ever reached. Probably tryna reach to master, atleast before Choncc Treasure is released. Because i wont touch any other game mode beside Chonnc's
I really-really enjoy tft especially for reroll(gambling) addict like me... I never feel so passionate at individual compe game like this other than Tekken 8
Thank you guys, i just wanna share my happiness 😭🙏💪🗣️
I quit playing for a while after 18 came out because the game kept crashing 4-5 times during each match. Just today decided to play 1 match and the game kept crashing every 30-60 seconds or so. Literally unplayable. Its been almost 2 months since it came out and let alone fixing these issues, somehow it got worse. My tablet keeps closing the app and my laptop shuts itself down completely. Any tips??
If they're never going to be viable without incredible luck, just remove them and add more traits with lower tiers to broaden possible comps.
They're never going to make verticals competitive, the community is split on support for them anyway, just do away with them at this point.
I'm also not here for the "they are good for tempo so you can offramp into your final board" because that defeats the purpose of a trait. If it's whole purpose is just to be fed to a different board, and never to actually build to a 10/11 unit payoff, then why even have it in the first place? At that point the uniqueness of the trait is wasted as it's never going to be something fully realized.
Personally, I think you should have strong verticals in every set. Something stable to latch onto if other powerful comps are popping off or are contested. But at the end of the day the devs seemingly gave up on trying to make them fun or playable, and enough of the community thinks they shouldn't be powerful in any way.
The reason why vertical traits are really bad lately is that they lack 2 tanks and 2 carries sharing the same traits, which historically usually happened.
I can clearly remember in earlier sets that most vertical traits would have 2 tanks sharing a trait (i.e., brawlers) and two carries sharing another (i.e., Hunters), making the Vertical trait at least playable if you wanted to play it to late game (and also gave you options to opt into another comp if contested).
I feel like games are predetermined since you join the lobby to keep you in a 50/50 between 1st-s and 8th-s,
In a game, I can find 7 elder dragons in ONE TURN like in the screenshot (without the riftbeast shop, it should've happened next turn), and the next one I found 0 Ahri while uncontested on lvl 9 with 50g rolldown.
"It's double up lol." It also happens in normal ranked games, I just wanted to play the mode with a friend.
Like i get it, he is a 1 cost units but still, atleast kill the cinderling (no items) first, when i play eclipse it only kills units that are about to die anyway, anyone else?
Just got back into TFT and I'm looking for a few channels/streamers that explains their decision making, comps and pivots. I think the only comp I seem to be comfortable playing is solar and I've been trying to branch out.
I kept going back and forth with people, but these kept winning, until finally Nidalee went against Sett, that phantom won and I won against Nidalee ending in first by surviving in like 20 hp with my last unit alive. Never struggled for a win this bad. Lmao
As we all know that set 19 will be a music related set and Dr. Mundo never has been a 5-cost legendary unit and he has the perfect business skin to be portrayed as a greedy manager of a band, I present to you my custom 5-cost Dr. Mundo as the manager/bruiser.
The Manager trait: as the manager of your band (team), he brings in the cash (loot) depending on how succesful your band is. He can give gold, champs, item components or even full items depending on the value of the amount of units your team has taken down.
Show off in style ability: as the manager, he is of course enjoying quite a bit of wealth and likes to show it off to everyone, including his enemies. He literally takes his target and takes him for a ride in his bugatti but because his reckless and arrogant driving skills, he crashes into the largest clump of enemies within 3 hexes and causes his main target to take massive damage. The enemies in the vicinity also take damage based on the distance from the radius. Also they all have burn and wound for 5 seconds. At the end Dr. Mundo heals a % of his missing health because of his quality health insurance benefits. If the targeted enemy is the final enemy, Dr. Mundo instead drives him off the board.
Riot may consider this post as my application to become a designer, I hope I get the job!
It's hard to believe the devs actually want to achieve balance at this point and instead just want to keep people talking about TFT, good or bad.
Rammus is a terror and the response is to buff a previously frustratingly strong comp (invoker Ahri) back into prominence instead of just nerfing the hyper tank the community is begging to see balanced.
Why?
Because engagement is more important than balance. There's no such thing as bad publicity. And they know they'll be an army of:
"buh buh buh but did you build shred, anti-heal, burn, wound, contest the unit, and follow the guide? What's your elo anyway?"
Responses coming to keep the community talking instead of just addressing a basic, obvious balance concern.
I really like playing TFT on my tablet (Honor MagicPad 4). The performance should be enough, and it always ran okay before—not super smooth, but playable on a tablet. However, since the last patch on Wednesday, it's completely unplayable. I'm getting 1 frame per minute... Am I the only one? Does anyone know a workaround, or can I only hope that the next patch fixes it?
I know items can be improved a bit and no eclipse, etc.. but still i didn't expect first 3 players to crush me so hard with just random 2* stuff.
EDIT: Look (btw tft noob here) i did what i could to survive, swapped some rndom items on akali, tried to get proper 3* unist but couldn't, got 2 3* from augment and at some point rushed to 8 just not to die (if i was better.. sure i'd probably have the perfect comp + perfect items). But still expected some semi-prismatic level of power, not Draven 2 moping the floor alone vs 3 4* cost units and definitely not losing to all 3 players mostly by wide margin, i'm pretty sure not all of their comps are not impeccable too.
Anyway, maybe i'm wrong and it's easy to get 8 3* most of the games in which case the power is ok.
(tldr when hardstuck longer queue because of hidden elo is hell)
inb4 yeah i know i lack fundamentals easier said then done i try to improve and to be better then my past self (i see you "below GM its brain off just fundamentals)
i reach diamond each set in 400-500 games im trying to improve ect but im lacking a good execution of fundamentals (yeah i see the irony hehe). but this set !!!
everything clicked and i reched diamond in like 120 games, life is good, god gamer ill be maybe d1 this time ?
WELL NO
i just reached my plaeau faster, and as a d4 zero lp you start to see the -80lp per top 8 and many top 5
Im relativly ok with being not good enough, but every set (18 set is a lot) when i get hardstuck 2min queue time become 5-6min.
imagine fellow tft player: you play and get two top 1, one top 2 (5min each time) annnd TOP 8; you see the "you cannot be demoted from this tier" -81lp and you have 5min to cry
i love the game i dont want to quit this early but its discouraging
i think the game would be WAY more fun if i could remove the demoting protection, im ok with being emerald or even less
