A STRIKE WITCHES HORROR STORY

### Chapter 1 — The Abandoned Base

Dark clouds pressed low over the coastline, turning the military base into a smear of lifeless grey. A cold wind dragged the smell of wet concrete and something faintly metallic across the empty grounds. Distant thunder rolled over the sea like a slow, heavy breath.

Ernesta Botto made her way toward the entrance, with every step making a dull, steady rhythm. She had expected the usual noise of the 501st—engines, laughter, the clatter of boots. Instead the base sat silent under the weight of the sky.

She slowed.

“Hello?”

Her voice vanished into the courtyard as if the air itself had swallowed it.

No answer.

She stepped inside. The corridor lights flickered weakly, casting long, unsteady shadows. The familiar sounds of the wing were gone. No footsteps. No voices. Only the soft groan of the building settling.

“Charlotte? Francesca? Lynette?”

Silence.

She moved deeper, checking rooms one by one. Beds were unmade. Personal items lay where they had been dropped—half-folded letters, a hairbrush, a mug still holding cold tea. A chair lay on its side near a doorway. Papers littered the floor like the aftermath of a sudden panic.

It looked as though everyone had fled in the middle of something urgent.

No one had told her.

“Mio? Perrine? Sanya? Eila?”

Her voice cracked on the last name.

“Is anybody here?”

Nothing answered.

She reached the hangar and stopped at the threshold.

Striker Units lay scattered across the concrete like discarded shells. Some rested on their sides against the walls. Others had been abandoned mid-maintenance, tools and cables tangled around them. The air smelled of oil and something sharper—copper, wet and wrong.

Dark stains marked the floor near one workbench. More residue streaked a section of wall. Beyond them, strange red symbols had been painted across the concrete in thick, uneven strokes. The shapes did not look human.

Ernesta crouched, fingers hovering above the nearest mark.

“What happened here?”

A faint crimson glow pulsed from a doorway at the far end of the hangar.

She straightened.

“Hello?”

For a moment she thought she saw movement in the dark.

Then a voice drifted out of it.

“Ernesta.”

She froze.

She knew that voice.

“Yoshika?”

No reply.

She took a cautious step forward.

“Where is everyone? I’ve called for Charlotte, Francesca, Lynette, Mio, Perrine, Sanya, Eila
the maintenance crew—Seiler, Stigler, Unwin, Yoshida. No one answered.”

The silence thickened.

Yoshika’s voice returned, soft and wrong.

“You’re asking the wrong questions.”

Outside, thunder rolled closer. The hangar doors creaked under the wind.

Ernesta looked at the scattered Strikers, then at the crimson glow.

Whatever had emptied the base, Yoshika seemed to know. And Ernesta already felt the cold certainty that she would not like the answer.

She stepped through the doorway.

The darkness closed around her like a mouth.

### Chapter 2 — The Girl in the Darkness

The room beyond was colder than the hangar. A weak crimson light pulsed from somewhere deeper inside, staining the walls the colour of old blood.

Ernesta moved carefully.

“Yoshika? Is that you?”

No answer.

Her eyes adjusted slowly. The air smelled of damp stone and something organic, faintly sweet and rotting. The walls looked older here, the concrete cracked and stained.

Then she saw the figure.

Someone sat hunched against the far wall, head bowed, uniform torn and hanging in damp folds.

Ernesta’s chest loosened for a single heartbeat.

“Yoshika?”

The figure did not move.

She approached.

“Thank goodness. I’ve been looking everywhere—”

The figure raised its head.

Ernesta’s relief died.

Yoshika’s eyes were bloodshot, the whites almost entirely red. Her expression was empty, as if the muscles of her face had forgotten how to form emotion. When she stood, the motion was slow and jointed, like something learning to use a body it no longer owned.

Coarse patches of fur had begun to push through her skin along the jaw and collarbone. On her forearms, the familiar blue magical circles were blackened at the edges, as though they had been burned from the inside.

“What happened to your magic?”

Yoshika looked down at her hands.

The circles glowed blue for a moment.

Then the light curdled into deep crimson.

She curled her fingers slowly.

“Magic is not a gift,” she whispered. The voice was Yoshika’s, but thinner, stretched over something else. “It’s a dormant strain.”

“No. Yoshika, stop. Whatever this is—”

Yoshika advanced. Ernesta backed away. “Yoshika, please!” She turned and ran.

Behind her, Yoshika simply watched from the doorway. She did not chase. That stillness was worse than pursuit. It felt like being observed by something that already knew the outcome.

Ernesta fled through corridors that no longer felt familiar. Older walls. Weaker lights. A cold draft that carried the same metallic sweetness.

She found a heavy metal door half-hidden behind a panel. The same red symbols had been carved into its surface, deep and deliberate. They looked less like decoration and more like a seal.

She pushed.

The door groaned open on a narrow staircase descending into red-tinged dark. From below came a low mechanical hum, steady and patient.

Ernesta stared down the steps.

If answers existed, they were waiting in that light.

She descended.

### Chapter 3 — Truth Beneath the Wings

The staircase ended at another metal door. Beyond it lay a laboratory that smelled of dust, old oil, and the faint copper tang of dried blood.

Cabinets lined the walls. Tables held abandoned equipment. Papers lay scattered as though someone had searched the room in desperation and then left.

Ernesta approached the central worktable.

The documents spoke of magical output, biological response, and the relationship between witches and Neuroi.

One page carried a line in heavy black ink:

CESSATION OF MAGICAL OUTPUT DOES NOT INDICATE RECOVERY. IT INDICATES PROGRESSION TO THE NEXT STAGE.

She turned another sheet.

THE SUBJECT’S LOSS OF MAGIC MAY NOT BE THE END OF THE PROCESS. IT MAY BE THE POINT AT WHICH THE PROCESS BECOMES IRREVERSIBLE.

A handwritten note at the bottom:

CONTAINMENT DELAYS PROGRESSION. IT DOES NOT REVERSE IT.

Her hands began to shake.

Further into the room, large mechanical structures stood against the far wall. Their shapes recalled Neuroi components, but modified, grown into something that looked half-machine, half-organism.

Inside them, the witches of the 501st hung suspended.

Charlotte. Francesca. Lynette, Perrine. Sanya, Eila, and the others

Their bodies were held by metal supports that pierced and cradled them. Tubes and cables connected to their lower bodies as if the machines had begun to grow into them. Their eyes were closed. Their chests rose and fell with the slow, regular rhythm of something kept alive rather than living.

“Charlotte?”

No response.

“Francesca? Lynette?”

Nothing.

Ernesta reached toward Eila and could not touch her. The machinery would not allow it.

“I’ll get you out,” she whispered. The promise felt thin in the humming dark. “I promise.”

She left the laboratory with the words still burning behind her eyes.

Containment delays progression.

It does not reverse it.

### Chapter 4 — Crimson Eye

A narrow passage led upward. Ernesta emerged onto the roof into thick grey mist that hid the sea and the sky.

Someone stood near the edge.

“Mio?”

Mio Sakamoto turned. Her eye patch was gone. The eye beneath glowed a deep, pulsing crimson, the colour of neuroi.

“Ernesta.”

“I found them. The others—they’re in machines under the base. I don’t know how to free them.”

“I know.”

The words landed like a stone. “You know?”

“I’ve been trying to understand what happened here.”

Mio’s voice was calm, but the crimson eye never stopped watching.

“The facility was investigating the relationship between magic and the Neuroi. The researchers began to suspect magic was not simply an ability. They believed it was part of a biological process that could change
 or develop.”

Ernesta remembered the documents.

“And losing magic didn’t mean the process was ending.”

“It meant the process had advanced beyond what they could measure.”

Mio looked out into the mist.

“The containment runes were designed to delay it. They never discovered whether the changes could be reversed. They only bought time.”

The crimson light in her eye brightened for a moment, then settled.

“Yoshika has begun changing in the way they feared most.”

Ernesta’s throat felt tight.

“Can they be saved?”

Mio did not answer at once.

“Be careful, Ernesta. Find out what Yoshika knows. And do not assume that what you are seeing is the whole truth.”

Ernesta returned to the dark.

### Chapter 5 — The Last Healing Spell

She found Yoshika standing near a window in one of the older corridors. The crimson markings on her arms glowed faintly through the torn sleeves.

“Yoshika.”

Yoshika turned. Those bloodshot eyes settled on her.

“I found the laboratory. I know about the machines. I know what the researchers wrote.”

Yoshika said nothing.

“Please. Help me understand. The others are trapped. I don’t know how to get them out.”

Yoshika raised one hand.

“I can try to heal you.”

Ernesta stared at her, confusion cutting through the fear.

“Heal me?” She took a half-step back. “I’m not hurt. Why would you—”

Her eyes flicked to the blackened edges of the circles on Yoshika’s arms, to the empty expression, to the patches of fur that shouldn’t be there.

“Yoshika
what’s wrong with you? Why are you saying that?”

Yoshika did not answer. The blue magical circle began to form around her palm anyway.

Ernesta’s pulse spiked.

“Stop. I don’t need healing. You’re the one who’s—”

The light looked almost familiar for a second. Then the edges darkened. The blue bled into crimson. A crystalline shape pushed outward from the centre, lengthening, sharpening, until it was a jagged crimson shard.

“Yoshika
 what is that?”

Yoshika did not answer.

“Stop. Please!”

Yoshika advanced.

Ernesta ran.

She made it into the hangar before Yoshika appeared in the doorway behind her. Ernesta backed against a workbench, one hand raised.

“Stay back. Please. I don’t want to fight you.”

Yoshika lunged.

The shard drove into Ernesta’s side.

Pain exploded white and absolute. She cried out and collapsed. The shard tore free and clattered onto the concrete, still glowing.

Ernesta stared up at Yoshika, disbelief louder than the pain.

“Yoshika
 why?”

Yoshika’s face remained empty.

Ernesta dragged herself backward, then forced herself upright and staggered into the corridor. Yoshika followed at a measured pace, never hurrying, never speaking.

Back in the hangar, Ernesta pressed a hand to the wound. The familiar warmth of her magic did not answer.

She tried again.

Nothing.

“Why isn’t it healing?”

She stared at her hand, then at the fallen shard, then at Yoshika.

She had wanted answers.

Instead she had been given this.

### Chapter 6 — Abandoned in the Mist

The hangar held its silence like a held breath.

Ernesta braced against the workbench, hand pressed to the wound. Every attempt to call her magic ended in the same hollow nothing.

Yoshika stood a short distance away, crimson markings glowing softly.

“Why?” Ernesta’s voice trembled. “You said you could heal me. I believed you.”

Yoshika did not answer.

“Did you do something to my magic? I saw your circle turn. Is that what happened to you? Is that why you’re changing?”

The markings on Yoshika’s arms brightened.

Ernesta flinched.

She tried again to summon power. The effort left her shaking and empty.

“I don’t understand,” she whispered. “I’m scared.”

For a fleeting instant something familiar flickered in Yoshika’s eyes—recognition, or regret. Then it vanished.

The red symbols on the floor began to glow. Crimson light traced the strange geometry across the concrete, then faded again.

Outside, the mist thickened.

Ernesta stood injured and magicless before the thing that still wore her friend’s face, waiting for an answer that never came.

### Chapter 7 — The War Ends When the Hosts Are Fully Integrated

Neither of them moved.

“I found the laboratory,” Ernesta said. “I read the documents. I saw the others. I know the researchers believed the process continued after magic was gone.”

Yoshika’s eyes remained fixed on her.

“Then you understand.”

“No, I don’t! What does integration mean? What are we being integrated with?”

Yoshika looked down at the markings on her arms.

“The containment only delayed it.”

“Delayed what?”

“The process.”

“What process?”

Yoshika’s voice was almost gentle.

“The war ends when the hosts are fully integrated.”

Ernesta’s breath caught.

“The hosts? Are you saying we’re the hosts? All of us?”

Yoshika’s gaze dropped to the symbols on the floor.

“The machines are keeping them contained while the process continues.”

“Charlotte. Francesca. Lynette. Perrine. Sanya. Eila
are they going to become like you?”

Yoshika did not answer.

“Is there a way to stop it? Can it be reversed?”

“The researchers never found a way.”

Ernesta’s voice rose, cracking.

“They could have been wrong! They might not have understood it well enough!”

Yoshika remained still.

Ernesta’s anger bled into fear.

“I don’t want to lose everyone. I don’t want to lose you.”

For a moment the familiar expression returned to Yoshika’s face. Then it was gone.

The containment markings brightened once more, illuminating the scattered equipment in brief, bloody light before fading.

“The researchers only bought time,” Ernesta whispered.

She looked at Yoshika and asked the question that had no answer.

“Please. Don’t let this be the end.”

Outside, the mist continued its slow advance across the abandoned grounds.

### Chapter 8 — The Nightmare Deepens

The hangar grew darker, though the lights had not changed.

Mist began to seep beneath the doors.

Ernesta looked at her hands, turning them over as if she expected to find the change already written there.

She tried to summon her magic.

A faint flicker of warmth answered—then vanished.

“No
”

She tried again. Nothing.

“I need to wake up.” The words slipped out. “This is a nightmare. It has to be.”

The floor was solid. The workbench was cold. The wound still throbbed.

Everything felt real.

The mist thickened, swallowing the far end of the hangar. Through it, Ernesta saw shapes—familiar silhouettes standing together in the fog.

“Charlotte? Francesca? Lynette?”

She stepped forward.

“Wait! It’s me! I’ll get you out!”

The figures remained indistinct. The fog between them grew denser. One by one the silhouettes dissolved.

“No! Please!”

She reached out. The distance between her and the vanishing shapes stretched impossibly.

Yoshika was only a shadow wrapped in crimson light.

“What’s happening?” Ernesta cried.

The last figure disappeared.

She stood alone in the mist, turning in every direction.

“Charlotte? Lynette? Anybody?”

No answer.

She squeezed her eyes shut.

“I don’t want this. I don’t want to lose them. I don’t want to lose myself.”

The darkness closed in.

“I DON’T WANT THIS!”

Her cry was swallowed by the fog.

### Chapter 9 — The Next Stage

Yoshika’s voice came out of the silence.

“It’s not just witches, Ernesta.”

Ernesta stared at her.

“Mages will soon fall victim to the process, too.”

“How? Why would it happen to me?”

“It takes longer for them. The process affects them differently. But it still progresses.”

Ernesta tried again to call her magic. Nothing answered.

Her legs gave way. She fell to her knees beside the workbench. Tears welled.

She wiped her cheeks—and froze.

Something dark streaked across her fingers.

She raised her hand closer to her face. The substance was thick, black, and warm.

Her tears were black.

“No
”

Fresh tears slipped down. The dark residue left streaks on her skin.

“What’s happening to me?”

Yoshika looked down at her.

“Ernesta, you’re already in the next stage.”

Ernesta shook her head violently.

“No! I can’t be!”

She tried to wipe her face. The black substance only spread further.

“I don’t want to become like you. I don’t want to lose my magic. I don’t want to lose myself.”

She looked at her hands again. The black tears continued to fall.

For the first time she could no longer pretend the process belonged only to Yoshika or the witches in the machines.

It was happening to her.

And she had no idea how far it would go.

### Chapter 10 — This Can’t Be Happening

Ernesta remained on her knees, staring at the black residue coating her fingers. She rubbed her hands against her uniform, trying to scrape it away. It clung.

Dark lines had begun to branch beneath the skin of her wrists, creeping along her forearms. Faint black discoloration spread under her collar. Tiny crystalline flecks appeared across the backs of her hands. Her skin looked unnaturally pale wherever the markings passed.

She pulled back her sleeves, searching for any sign that she was imagining it.

The markings were there.

She looked down at her prosthetic.

The familiar surface had darkened. Irregular black patterns spread across the outer casing. The joints looked discolored. Between several connecting sections the material had become dark and uneven.

Then she saw the residue.

A thick black substance was slowly seeping through the joints, gathering along the seams before trailing down the prosthetic’s surface.

“No
”

She reached toward it, then stopped, afraid of what her fingers would find.

“This can’t be happening.”

An air-raid siren began to wail—distorted, wavering, far too loud. The sound filled the hangar like something alive and in pain.

Fog poured through the open doorways, swallowing the Striker Units and the workbenches.

Through the mist she saw two figures standing together at the far end of the hangar.

One was Yoshika, crimson markings glowing, patches of fur still visible on her skin.

Beside her stood Seiler.

Ernesta’s breath stopped.

Dark markings spread across Seiler’s skin. Black discoloration crept along her arms. Her eyes were hollow and wrong. The same corrupted signs that marked Yoshika marked her as well.

Seiler did not move. She only watched.

“Seiler?” Ernesta’s voice cracked. “It’s me!”

Neither figure responded.

“Please, say something!”

The siren screamed.

Ernesta stumbled backward. Black tears ran down her face. Her hands reached helplessly toward her best friend.

“Please! You can’t be like this! Not you!”

When she tried to call out again, the words emerged wrong—harsh, metallic, distorted until she barely recognised her own voice.

She covered her mouth in horror.

Even her voice was changing.

“PLEASE!”

The cry came out broken and metallic.

“This can’t be happening!”

The fog swept higher. The crimson lights became formless blurs in the swirling dark.

Ernesta reached toward Seiler one last time.

“Please! I’m scared! I don’t want this!”

Her words were almost unrecognisable beneath the distortion.

“SEILER! PLEASE!”

The mist engulfed everything.

Ernesta screamed.

“THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!”

Ernesta woke with a sharp gasp.

She bolted upright in her bed, breathing hard, body damp with sweat. For a moment she stared around the room, disoriented, heart hammering as she tried to understand where she was.

The hangar.

The fog.

The siren.

Seiler standing beside Yoshika.

Her corrupted prosthetic.

She looked down at her right leg at once.

It was normal.

She ran trembling fingers over the familiar surface. No black residue. No strange discoloration. No sign of the corruption she had seen.

She checked her hands.

No dark markings.

No black tears.

Her magic was still her own.

Ernesta drew a shaky breath.

“It was a dream
”

Her voice sounded normal.

She pressed a hand to her chest, trying to slow her racing heart.

“It was just a nightmare.”

Beside her, Seiler stirred beneath the blankets.

“Ernesta?”

Seiler sat up sleepily, then immediately noticed Ernesta’s frightened expression and uneven breathing.

“What’s wrong? Are you all right?”

Ernesta turned toward her.

For a moment she could only stare.

Seiler was there. Safe. Familiar. Herself.

The relief hit so suddenly that tears filled her eyes.

“Seiler
”

“I’m here. What’s happened?”

Ernesta reached for her and pulled her into a tight embrace.

Seiler was startled for a second, then wrapped her arms around Ernesta at once.

Ernesta buried her face against Seiler’s shoulder, her whole body trembling as the fear finally caught up with her.

“I thought I’d lost you,” she sobbed.

Seiler held her close.

“Lost me? What do you mean?”

Ernesta struggled to explain between tears.

“I had this horrible nightmare. The base was abandoned, and Yoshika was infected. Everyone was changing, and then
” She drew a shaky breath. “Then I saw you standing beside her. You were infected, too.”

Seiler’s arms tightened.

“Oh, Ernesta
”

“My leg was changing. There was this black substance coming out of the joints, and my hands were covered in it. I couldn’t use my magic, and even my voice sounded different.” Ernesta clutched Seiler’s uniform. “I kept begging for it to stop, but nothing worked.”

Seiler listened quietly, letting Ernesta tell her everything she had witnessed.

“The fog was everywhere. There was an air-raid siren, and I couldn’t get away. I saw you standing there, but you wouldn’t answer me.”

Her voice broke again.

“I thought it was really happening. I thought I was losing myself, and I couldn’t save you.”

Seiler gently rested a hand against the back of Ernesta’s head.

“It’s all right. I’m here.”

Ernesta lifted her face slightly, tears still running down her cheeks.

“But it felt so real.”

“I know. Nightmares can feel terribly real when you’re in them.”

Ernesta looked at her, still frightened.

“You’re really here?”

Seiler gave her a reassuring nod.

“I’m right here, Ernesta. Look at me.”

Ernesta did.

Seiler was herself. Her expression was warm and concerned, and her arms remained wrapped around Ernesta.

“I’m here for you,” Seiler said softly. “You’re safe. It was a nightmare, and you’re not facing it alone.”

Ernesta let out a trembling breath and rested her head against Seiler’s shoulder again.

“Please, stay with me for a little while.”

“Of course.”

Seiler held her gently while Ernesta continued to cry, letting her take all the time she needed.

Gradually Ernesta’s breathing began to settle. The frightening images still lingered, but she could feel Seiler’s embrace and hear her quiet, reassuring voice.

Her friend was safe.

Her prosthetic was unchanged.

The black substance was gone.

And the nightmare, however terrifying it had been, was over.

Ernesta closed her eyes, keeping her head against Seiler’s shoulder.

“Thank you,” she whispered.

Seiler gently squeezed her hand.

“You don’t have to thank me. I’m here for you, Ernesta. Everything is all right.”

For now, Ernesta held on to those words, letting herself rest in the comfort of her best friend’s embrace.

### Chapter 11 — A Quiet Breakfast

Morning sunlight streamed through the windows of the base, filling the corridors with a warmth that felt worlds away from the darkness of Ernesta’s nightmare.

The sky outside was clear.

The sea glittered in the distance.

The familiar sounds of the base had returned: footsteps in the corridor, quiet conversation, the clatter of dishes from the dining room.

Everything was ordinary.

And Ernesta had never been more grateful for ordinary things.

She sat at a table in the dining room, looking down at her breakfast. She had barely touched it.

Her right leg rested comfortably beneath the table, its prosthetic unchanged. Her hands looked normal. When she flexed her fingers, her magic answered with the familiar sensation she had always known.

There were no black tears.

No dark markings.

No crimson glow.

It had all been a nightmare.

Yet the memory remained vivid enough to make her pause whenever she thought about it.

Across from her, Seiler noticed her staring at her plate.

“You haven’t eaten much.”

Ernesta looked up.

“Sorry. I’m trying.”

Seiler gave her a gentle smile.

“You don’t have to rush.”

Ernesta picked up her fork and took a small bite. She chewed slowly, then set it down again.

Seiler didn’t press her. She simply stayed beside Ernesta, offering the quiet reassurance of her company.

After a little while, someone approached their table.

“Are you feeling all right?”

Ernesta looked up.

Mio stood nearby, her expression warm but concerned.

Ernesta hesitated.

“I’m feeling better.”

Mio pulled out a chair and sat with them.

“Seiler mentioned that you had a difficult night.”

Ernesta glanced at Seiler, who gave her an encouraging nod.

“I had a nightmare,” Ernesta admitted.

Mio folded her hands on the table.

“Would you like to tell me about it?”

Ernesta looked toward the window. Sunlight fell across the floor. She could see members of the wing moving about outside.

For a moment she remembered the abandoned hangar from her dream—the scattered Striker Units, the strange red markings, Yoshika standing in the darkness.

She took a slow breath.

“In the nightmare, I arrived at the base and everyone was gone. I searched the corridors and the hangar, but nobody answered me.”

Mio listened quietly.

“Then I found Yoshika. She looked
wrong. Her eyes were bloodshot, and there were strange markings on her arms. She told me magic wasn’t a gift, that it was some kind of dormant strain.”

Ernesta lowered her gaze to her hands.

“I found a hidden laboratory beneath the base. The others were trapped in machines, and there were documents about a process the researchers couldn’t reverse.”

Mio’s expression grew more serious, but she didn’t interrupt.

“Then I found you on the roof. You explained that the researchers thought the process could continue even after a witch lost her magic.”

She paused.

“And then Yoshika attacked me.”

Seiler moved a little closer.

Ernesta drew a shaky breath.

“I couldn’t understand why. I tried to use my magic, but it wouldn’t work. Yoshika told me the process was continuing, and that mages could be affected too.”

She looked down at her fingers.

“My tears turned black.”

Mio’s expression softened.

“In the dream, I thought I was changing. I couldn’t stop it, and I couldn’t help anyone. Then my prosthetic changed too. There was this black substance coming out of its joints.”

Ernesta’s voice trembled.

“And then I saw Seiler standing beside Yoshika. She looked infected, just like her. I called out, but she wouldn’t answer.”

Seiler gently placed her hand over Ernesta’s.

“I’m right here.”

Ernesta nodded, grateful for the reminder.

“I know. I saw that when I woke up. But in the nightmare, I really thought I’d lost you.”

Mio gave her a moment before speaking.

“That sounds frightening, Ernesta. Especially because you were trying so hard to protect everyone, and nothing you did seemed to work.”

Ernesta looked at her.

“I kept thinking that if I could just understand the process, I could save them. But I couldn’t find a way.”

“You don’t have to solve every frightening thing on your own,” Mio replied. “And a nightmare isn’t a prediction of what will happen.”

Ernesta was quiet.

Mio continued gently.

“You were afraid of losing your friends. That doesn’t mean you will lose them.”

Seiler squeezed Ernesta’s hand.

“We’re all here.”

Ernesta glanced around the dining room.

Nearby, Charlotte was talking with Francesca. Lynette sat with Perrine, while Sanya and Eila shared a quiet conversation at another table. Other members of the wing moved in and out of the room, carrying breakfast and greeting one another.

They were all safe.

They were all themselves.

Yoshika was there too, talking with the others as though nothing terrible had ever happened.

Ernesta watched her for a moment.

The Yoshika from her nightmare seemed impossible to reconcile with the familiar girl across the room. There were no crimson markings, no empty expression, no sign of the terrifying changes Ernesta had witnessed.

Yoshika noticed her looking and waved.

Ernesta managed a small wave in return.

Her shoulders relaxed slightly.

Mio followed her gaze.

“Sometimes a frightening dream stays with us long after we wake up,” she said. “You don’t have to pretend it didn’t upset you. Just remember that you’re here, with people who care about you.”

Ernesta nodded.

“Thank you, Mio.”

Mio smiled.

“Of course.”

For a few moments they sat together in comfortable silence.

Then Seiler nudged Ernesta’s plate gently toward her.

“Now, how about finishing some breakfast?”

Ernesta looked down at her food.

For the first time that morning, she smiled.

“All right.”

She picked up her fork and took another bite.

It was a small thing—nothing more than an ordinary breakfast shared with friends. Yet every familiar sound and every ordinary moment seemed precious after the nightmare she had endured.

She could hear Charlotte laughing.

She could see Francesca gesturing excitedly as she told a story.

She could hear Lynette responding softly, and Perrine making a remark that caused Sanya to smile.

Seiler sat beside her, warm and reassuring, her hand resting near Ernesta’s.

Mio remained with them, making sure Ernesta had time to settle.

The morning continued.

Ernesta ate a little more, and as she did, the tension that had followed her out of sleep gradually began to ease.

The nightmare had felt real.

The fear had been real.

But the things she had feared had not happened.

Her magic was still hers.

Her prosthetic was unchanged.

Her tears were ordinary tears.

And her friends were safe.

Ernesta glanced at Seiler.

“I’m glad you’re here.”

Seiler smiled.

“I’m glad I’m here, too.”

Ernesta leaned gently against her friend’s shoulder for a moment before sitting upright again.

Outside, the sunlight continued to brighten the base.

There were duties to attend to, conversations to join, and another ordinary day waiting for the 501st Joint Fighter Wing.

Ernesta knew she might remember the nightmare for a while. She might think about the abandoned base, the crimson markings, and the frightening things Yoshika had said.

But she no longer had to face those memories alone.

She looked around the table at the people who mattered to her.

Then she picked up her fork again.

“Right,” she said quietly. “I think I’m ready to finish breakfast.”

Seiler gave her an approving smile, and Mio rose to return to her own duties.

Ernesta took another bite as the dining room carried on around her.

The sun shone through the windows.

Her friends were safe.

And for now, that was enough.

The nightmare was over.

Morning had come, and Ernesta was home.

Chris Barkhorn is a young Karlslandic girl and the younger sister of Gertrud Barkhorn. Her life changed dramatically following a Neuroi attack that left her in a coma. After suddenly awakening, Chris discovered that she had become a witch, a revelation first recognized by her new friend Aina, who detected her magical potential after coming to her aid. News of Chris's awakening and transformation would also bring significant changes to her relationship with Gertrud, who had always cared deeply for her younger sister. Chris also came to look up to Stigler, developing a bond of trust and respect with her as another important figure in her life. In early 1942, Chris and Aina were transferred to the Maginot Detachment in Gallia, serving near the Noble Witches Joint Fighter Wing. As Chris adjusted to her unexpected transformation and newfound abilities, Gertrud remained an important part of her life, concerned for her sister's safety while recognizing her determination to serve. Stigler also became someone Chris admired and learned from, offering her another source of encouragement as she faced her new circumstances. With Gertrud's support, Stigler's example, and Aina's friendship, Chris gradually began finding her place among her new comrades, learning to embrace her identity as a witch and face the challenges of her new military career.

Chris Barkhorn is a cheerful, friendly, and determined young witch who is still adjusting to her magical abilities after awakening from a coma. As Gertrud Barkhorn's younger sister, she admires her older sister's strength and shares a similar ability to enhance her physical power. Chris also develops a close bond with Stigler, someone she deeply respects and looks up to, and Aina, her new friend who supports her as she discovers more about herself and her abilities. Despite her cheerful nature, Chris understands the dangers of fighting the Neuroi and wants to protect the people she cares about. Her considerable superhuman strength allows her to deliver powerful strikes and handle heavy weapons in combat. With Gertrud's example, Stigler's guidance, and Aina's friendship, Chris strives to become a capable witch in her own right while cherishing the important bonds she shares with all three.

Ability: Superhuman Strength — Chris can use her magic to greatly enhance her physical strength and endurance, allowing her to wield heavy weapons, deliver devastating punches, and unleash powerful strikes against Neuroi. Similar to her older sister Gertrud, she possesses considerable raw power, which she can channel into both close-quarters combat and heavy weapon attacks. Her enhanced strength also improves her ability to withstand demanding battles, making her a formidable combatant despite being relatively new to life as a witch.

(comment thank you)

Waltraud Schuck born in Saarland, Karlsland is an elite mage combatant who distinguished herself through her military training, combat experience, and service on several important fronts during the Second World War. In early 1941, she was deployed to the Eastern Front, where she fought against the Neuroi and gained valuable experience in the harsh conditions of the eastern theater. In mid-1941, she was assigned to the Eismeer Arctic convoy operations, defending vital Allied supply lines against Neuroi attacks and helping protect the transport routes that kept the front supplied. Her performance in these operations established her reputation as a capable and experienced elite witch. In September 1941, Schuck was transferred to the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing, where she continued her service alongside witches other experienced mages along with making friends with a Baltland mage named Heglund defending humanity against the Neuroi threat. Her experience on the Eastern Front and in the Arctic made her a valuable addition to the unit, bringing knowledge of both conventional combat operations and the challenges of defending strategically important supply routes.

Waltraud Schuck is a shy, soft-spoken, and somewhat nervous Karlsland mage who can be hesitant around unfamiliar people despite being an elite combatant. Although she sometimes lacks confidence in social situations, her military training and battlefield experience have taught her to remain dependable when others need her. Having fought on the Eastern Front in early 1941 and later defended vital supply lines during the Eismeer Arctic convoy operations, Waltraud has proven herself capable under pressure. Waltraud shares a close friendship with Solveig Heglund, a fellow mage whom she trusts and feels comfortable around. Their friendship allows her to relax and show a more open side of her personality. She is deeply loyal to those she considers friends and worries about their safety, sometimes putting their needs ahead of her own. After transferring to the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing in September 1941, Waltraud must adjust to her new comrades and the challenges of serving alongside witches. She gradually becomes more comfortable with witches such as Aleksandra I. Pokryshkin, Nikka Edvardine Katajainen, and Waltraud Krupinski, learning to trust their abilities and work alongside them. Though naturally reserved and occasionally anxious, Waltraud is a courageous mage who can overcome her fears when the people she cares about are in danger.

Ability: Boreas Surge – Waltraud channels magical energy into surrounding wind currents, amplifying their force to unleash powerful gusts and concentrated air-pressure blasts. She combines this ability with enhanced aerial maneuverability, defensive wind barriers, and energy-charged attacks, allowing her to disrupt Neuroi formations, deflect incoming projectiles, and strike enemies with sudden bursts of wind from unexpected angles.

Compendium The World of Witches (46): INFLUENCER WITCHES

HELLO EVERYONE, and I've come with this week Compendium of Witches Topic, HAHAHAHA...I can't believe all the topics of the previous poll tied, and with a 666...how poetic, I love it, as such and per the rules I will talk about ALL OF THEM, not all of them in one week, but I will do so...so be prepared for it!

And we will begin with INFLUENCER WITCHES., Second next week will be MOST INSANE NEUROI KILLS and finally it will be EXTRASOLAR PLANETS.

WIthout further to explain..LET'S DIVE IN!

-----------------------------------------------

Introduction: Cosmos Wide Web Stars

As we’ve mentioned before, the 2000s were an age in media dominated by the arrival of reality tv when it came to Witches as people were fascinated with understanding and learning all about Aquarian Witches, and the arrival of the internet only made this easier...especially when large video streaming websites appeared around 2005, large prestige studios would film high quality documentaries where these Witches were unveiled for the world.

However a couple of Witches felt that was too formal and some opted for a more direct approach thanks to the internet...they could pick a camera and upload the content themselves...and by 2009, the era of “Influencer Witches” had begun, Witches who decided to use the video platforms to provide entertainment, their ideas or any other silly thing they wanted to share with the world.

So, we will dive in into this topic and learn, who the most notorious Influencer Witches are:

Brief Background History

The first video featuring Witches was uploaded in 2002 and it is only a compilation of video footage from the Second Neuroi War showing the various Witches, followed by many others similar with archive purposes.

But the actual first video of a Witch picking a camera and uploading the video to the internet was in 2006 shortly after dedicated pages began manifesting, featuring the Aquarian Witch “Beatrice “Bizzy” Robertson” granddaughter of Ginny Robertson of Luminous Witches’ fame, in which she filmed herself on top of the London Bridge as she danced with a guitar playing a cover of Kelly Marie’s “Feels Like I’m in Love” meant for her then first boyfriend, it was very primitive and not very ambitious, but it gathered almost 700.000 views which at the time was pretty fantastic...it showed Witches that people would watch them...and it did not take long for many more to do it.

In the following years as large portions of the world began uniting in to macro stages Witches would begin opening their various spaces where they would upload videos regularly motivating the unity of the world, although at the time they would deal with hostility in the comments from people who supported the so called campaign of “Fighting for Humanity’s Autonomy” but it failed to catch a significant momentum, although many of these people would later form “The Sons of Noah”, but when it comes to Witches making videos it did not stop them.

Buy 2068 when the Urash Philosophy came in to effect however, the content these Witches would upload changed drastically in order to comply with the regulations and move humanity from the sedentary life of the early millennium into a more active, working and nomadic society to improve its health and autonomy away from technology.

Titans of the sedentary era of streaming began dying off and saw their internet ventures crash completely, political and video game streamers were forced to shut down their channels to comply with the Urash Philosophy, but Witches simply adapted and changed their content focused more now on exploration and enjoying the wonders of life...or as they said on the slang back in that era “To Touch Grass”.

When the Third Neuroi War erupted in 2410 the contents of Influencer Witches STOPPED radically...for obvious reasons, but they resumed once the War was over in 2500...although by this time Witches desired to once again pursue other ventures and many of their projects were shut down permanently...leaving only a couple left who still wanted to be influencers.

But again, ANOTHER PAUSE CAME with the Kardashev Program in 2700
. even then, these Influencer Witches promised to record their journey through the cosmos promising to return...and post it all.

Did they? YES...YOU CAN BET THEY DID...some returned with PETABYTES OF CONTENT...some uploaded them piece by piece, other made large video compilations that would last for MONTHS OF PLAYTIME...which is understandable...as we’re talking about more than a thousand years of traveling across the cosmos
.we are sure their fans enjoyed benching such content, we also did as we had to record and analyze all that as part of our duties, we are keepers of Witch lore after all.

After that the Witches that remained influencers continued their activities and continue to entertain us through the years...and we couldn’t be happier for it, always adapting to the new trends and innovating.

The Influencer Witches

Now that we know their history, it is time to get to know the most notable and important influencer Witches and the type of content they do:

- Daisy Chained (Started 2012-Ongoing): A simple Vlog created by the sisters Rebecca Miyafuji and Yumemi Bishop, although it wouldn’t be named “Daisy Chained” until 2098, they would always host it every Saturday night at 8 PM and would just talk to their audience, sharing their personal lives, projects, relationships, the birth and death of the many children they had...everything, 100% honest and with no filter, just two sisters talking in front of a camera. They stopped during the Third War but did make a special transmission as these two were selected for The Centralia Offensive, the two sisters talked about the implications of being part of this final offensive and Yumemi even cried worrying for the future and the pressure over her, as we know however they were successful and they renewed the vlog THE SAME DAY they came out of the Centralia hole.

After returning from Space in the 3500s they continued their activities and to this day in 4000 they do so.

- Princesses of the Old Republic (Started 2027-Ongoing): A blog made by Loba Kuroda and Alucarda Cantacuzino in where they would just talk endlessly about the many shows and franchises they loved, sharing fan theories, headcanons, discussing characters endlessly, both Witches balanced each other well, Loba with her bubbly personality and Alucarda with her Gothic intrigue, it never had a fixed date and they would just post content whenever they felt liked it, they made great efforts in keeping fan theories alive, they LOVED Dwelling in those, whenever they went into space Loba recorded the many weird planets she found interesting and compared them to the fictional planets in the franchises she loved, all of it posted in a special 2 months video upon their return, ever since they have continued making content talking about the many franchises they missed out in their Kardashev journey
.and yes, Alucarda often brings her Space cat-jelly “children” Grant, Trevor and Sypha into the videos.

- Potflower Zeit (Started 2050-Ongoing): This is just a strange vlog made by Samantha Lennartz where she just puts the camera on, takes drugs and just...talks...that’s it
.no deeper meaning, it started when her lover at the time made a video about it, uploaded it to the internet and it was extremely popular, so she’s been doing that...since then, once every month (Once every year during the Kardashev Journey)...she get surprisingly imaginative describing all her weird visions, we can only wonder what kind of reaction her grandmother would have if she knew of this, legends say that if you put one of her videos on an Elysium Tower, the holograms of Helma just “Abandon” the scene.

- Carrie Across the World/Space (Started 2008-2700): A traveling show featuring the adventuring Carrie “Thunderchild” Schade, she would explore the world and make videos about it, when she explored EVERY CORNER to explore in 2098, she put the program on pause to help humanity work on space travel, joining Operation Usada 1969, renewing the show in 2201 to now explore SPACE, the Third War and her time on the caves of Mars put a stop to that, but once she had her Deae Battlesuit she explored the entire solar system once the war was over, she finished the program just as she was about to launch into space and promised to put ONE MASSIVE VIDEO once she returned, and she did, thankfully she cut it by hour long segments of all the wonders she explored, there is even one showcasing her attempts to venture far from the Milky Way, but it is only a black screen and the distant luminous Andromeda Galaxy until she realized it was far too distant to reach and turned back, the only extragalactic footage we have.

- MEAN BAD BITCHES (Started 2009-2070): A massive problem in the early days of video making were the “Fake Rescue Videos” in where people would intentionally endanger animals and even people, or harm them to later film a video pretending to save them or provide assistance for a problem THEY THEMSELVES CAUSED...leading to a huge widespread problem and creating thousands of scammers...until three Witches witnessed this and had enough...Xotchil O’Hare, Stormcloud Yeager and Jenny Barrios...together they joined forces and mounted an operation across the world where they would find the people making these contents, BEAT THE FUCK OUT OF THEM, and rescue the animals for real, but not only that, they would apply immense pressure on governments of the world to punish people with harsher sentences for doing these things, at first they did not have much success on the latter until the Urash Philosophy implementation which forced the world to pursue content that fomented a sedentary life, after that harsher punishments were implemented across the world and the problem was solved, the final video was of the three Witches thanking the world and concluding the operation with a resounding success.

- IS THIS REAL LIFE? OR IS IT JUST FANTASY? (Started 2100-Ongoing): Bizzy Robertson was an extremely talented singer like her grandmother but she never pursued a musical career, she felt more comfortable in a casual setting playing and singing for a reduced group, and that is what this show this, it was just Bizzy trying her hand at various songs she would try to recreate on her guitar...even harsh extreme noise techno songs or really vicious extreme metal songs...she would give them a folk remake because why not? But what made the show funny was that she would go find various other Witches and people and have them sing with her...among the most iconic moments was her cover of Queen’s “We Are the Champions”, where she, Ceridwind Miles (Cerydwen), Yumemi Bishop, Carrie Schade and Jacinth Taylor (Britanian Witches basically) all sang an extended custom version of the song all the way to 20 minutes, it was an absolute blast...later released as a single amassing great success.

Bizzy still does it to this day.

- Weird Science (Started 2080-2410): A small show created by Fatima Safavid where she would gather “Junk” or ruined machines abandoned and she would restore them using her fantastic science and engineering skills, on the early days of video making there was also a plague of this type of content in where people would produce “Fake abandoned electronic devices” to restore them, but Fatima was legit as she would begin the recording the moment she woke up, she would fly from Ctesiphon (Sometimes accompanied by Roxana Apranik) and would wander through the world finding the ruined object, she would take it back home and show the restoration process STEP BY STEP...showing what actual rot and abandonment looked like
.it made her very popular.

Unfortunately, she dropped the show when the Third Neuroi War broke out as she became extremely busy helping on the back, as we know she was INSTRUMENTAL in the Centralia Offensive.

She would not renew the show after the war though...although...once she came back from space...she did something else~

- WELCOME TO THE CYBER CORPORATION! (Started 3604-Ongoing): Fatima returned to doing what she loved but this time she wasn’t alone...she was joined by the other brilliant mind among Witches...Magie Katajainen and together they created a new show where they would talk about all things science and technology, having the chance to try the various many new improvements humanity made as well as telling the many stories they lived during the Kardashev Program, by the year 3700 another person joined...Himawari Shinomiya from Team VIVID alongside the Otter doll of Doctor Kenjiro Isshiki...expanding their capabilities...becoming the main source to check for all science related stuff.

- The Court of the Crimson Witch (Started 2500-Ongoing): A podcast styled show hosted by Edelgard Barkhorn, a big scholar on warfare and military history, she would sit and talk about the evolution of warfare, important battles in history, great characters and generals...basically the spot for every military geek looking to hear some good history from a beautiful lady, Edelgard is very dedicated to this show and would travel the world herself to interview people and learn history from authentic sources, she was inspired to do this after the end of the Third Neuroi War so humanity would not forget the effort and sacrifices made to get us where we are now, because even during peace she believed remembering warfare mattered to understand why peace mattered.

And she has continued with the show since her return from the Kardashev Program.

- The Sixth Dimension (Started 2200-Ongoing): Remember how Witches were kinda left out of the “Variety Shows” era during the 70s? Well Natalia Litvyak and Momoi Lucchini took that personally and decided to make their own variety/game show, the result was “The Sixth Dimension”, hosted once a year and it would last for a week, in it, Natalia and Momoi would invite various Aquarian Witches to perform in various challenges set for them, sometimes they would bring other lucky chosen people to participate, it has had EVERYTHING, challenges, quizzes, fights, sports, treasure hunts, dances, music, talent shows...ANYTHING CAN GO...as long as it is funny...it is one of the most expected events every year because it can get really naughty in there.

When both Witches returned from the Kardashev Program, they renewed it and began adding Space Mikos and even the girls from Team VIVID into the rooster.

Is any squad stronger than another?

I understand that "Power Scaling" isn't something that needs to be discussed (especially HERE), but in an anime (that I forgot), it was said...

"Strike Witches are stronger than Brave Witches."

And vice versa, or something like that.

Are there other main Squadrons besides 501, 502 and Luminous Witches?

In the anime, these were the only ones that got highlighted, but...

Are there others that received focus? Whether in Games, Light Novels, or Manga?

I watched Witches for the first time.

Hello, yesterday I finished watching ALL the Witches anime for the first time and I want to give some quick opinions/complain.

Quick opinions...

Did the anime really want me to believe in Yoshika's relationship with her dad and care about him in just 1 episode (from the 1st season)?

Mr. White from Breaking Bad, I couldn't stand Perrine when she appeared in the first season. She was super annoying and a jerk to Yoshika. A bad tsundere and yandere:😑â˜čïžđŸ’€

Good thing Perrine changed starting from the 2nd season, because she stopped being a yandere and became someone who simply admires Mio, and as a result, also became a good tsundere:😌

Was episode 6 of the 3rd season one of the best of Strike Witches, if not the best of the franchise? Yes. It wasn't just a proof of friendship. It was something that also proved just how gay the two of them are.

I liked the ending of ROAD to BERLIN, but it felt more like a season finale rather than the end of the Strike Witches series. I think/hope there will be 2 more seasons, because it was said that Karaland and Orussia still needed to be liberated from the Neuroi.

Oh, and I have nothing against ecchi. Bring on as many as you want. The more, the better!đŸ€€đŸ„ŽđŸ„”

Did I find it weird that he was barely present in Brave Witches? Yes. But it didn't make a difference. Could he have been? Of course.

The Chibi series are rough and hideous! It's hard to believe they were made by professional studios, even if inexperienced. But there comes a point where you get used to the visuals and don't care as much, because the comedy, dynamics/interaction/chemistry of the characters are what save it.

Actually, I liked Hasshin Shimasu! more than World Witches, because the 501st did something basic and simple: highlight the daily lives of the Strike Witches in random situations. World Witches could have done something basic and simple too, with the difference of bringing the 501st and 502nd together, but no—besides not reuniting the 502nd with the 501st, it decided to focus randomly on the squads. Episode 1 was about the 501st, Episode 2 was about the 502nd, and so on. Like, how hard was it to just not fail to put two teams of characters together? Not to mention that the 502nd part is a recap.

Complaints...

Yoshika: I had nothing against her normally since she was a character full of altruism, kindness, innocence, pacifism, and excessive stubbornness, caring about good and innocent people. Sometimes even to the point of not wanting to pull a jammed weapon on a teammate during training? Yes. But when episode 9 of the first season came around, and she didn't shoot a Neuroi just because it had a human form, and as a result acted like a magical girl protagonist, thinking she could understand the enemy because they looked alike—I couldn't believe what I was seeing. In that same episode, she was defending the Neuroi and Trude or another Witch commented...

"How many Neuroi have you fought? You only talk like this because you haven't fought many."

At that moment, I agreed with her and at the same time noticed that Yoshika's attitude DID NOT MAKE SENSE! Yoshika's dad died because of the Neuroi/war, and she still had the courage to act that way. She should have suffered more so she wouldn't act like that. Though knowing how female protagonists are written, she probably still would have behaved that way. Even worse was the next episode, when she went after the Neuroi that shot Mio. Like, did she forget that this exact same Neuroi left Mio bedridden?

I understand there was the traitor general plot twist, but I still stand by my complaint.

This franchise is very gay. Then an episode comes along where Minna gets sad about losing her friend/boyfriend? Once again, a relationship with a character the anime wanted me to believe in and care about?

"Ah, but it wasn't about her friend/boyfriend. It was about wanting to protect the people she loves."đŸ€“â˜ïž

Then why did they use a male character?

I decided to end this section with a petty criticism. Actually, I just really don't want male characters in a very gay anime with female protagonists:😞

Conclusion: Even with the quick opinions and complaints, I still LOVED the Witches franchise. All the characters and their dynamics, interactions, and chemistry are charismatic, fun, dramatic, exciting, funny, and wonderful.

Not to mention they are pretty, cute, and hot:đŸ€€đŸ„ŽđŸ„”

Anyway, that's it.

Gisele LĂŒtzow was a Karlsland mage born in Kiel, who developed her skills through military training and established herself as a capable combatant. During the Hispania campaign, she served with the Condor Legion, gaining valuable combat experience and recognition for her service. Later, while defending Britannia, she became familiar with Margaret Farnes, encountering her during their respective military service and developing a sense of familiarity that would carry into their later careers.

In 1941, while serving in Eastern Europe, LĂŒtzow was selected for transfer to the 501st Joint Fighter Wing because of her combat experience and leadership qualities. Reuniting with Farnes at the 501st, she joined a multinational unit of witches and mages, bringing her experience from Hispania, Britannia, and the Eastern European front to her new assignment.

LĂŒtzow is a composed, disciplined, and capable German mage who values duty, professionalism, and the comrades who serve alongside her. Having fought alongside witches and mages in the Condor Legion in Hispania and later served in the defense of Britannia, she developed considerable combat experience and earned the confidence of her superiors. At the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, she works alongside witches Mio Sakamoto and Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke, respecting their leadership and cooperating closely with them despite the differences between witches and mages.

Gisele has a particularly complicated set of feelings toward Margaret Farnes, whom she first became familiar with during the defense of Britannia. Their reunion at the 501st brings those feelings into sharper focus, making Farnes more than simply another fellow officer to Gisele. Although she remains professional around her, Gisele finds it harder to maintain her usual composure in Farnes's presence, revealing a more personal and vulnerable side that she rarely shows to others.

Ability: Phantom Step- Gisele can briefly teleport over moderate distances to reposition herself in combat. She combines these sudden movements with enhanced shooting, rapid defensive reactions, magical shields, and slashing strikes, allowing her to evade attacks and counter enemies from unexpected angles.

Compendium The World of Witches (45): WOMANAZING WITCHES

HELLO EVERYONE, and I've come with this week Compendium of Witches Topic, I'll be honest with you...I wasn't expecting this topic to win, and in the begining of the poll it seemed that way, but it managed to pull a good number of votes, I was expectring this to be quite a funny topic but honestly? It came up more insightful than I expected, even if I am only talking about 3 Witches...that was quite nice to make...I am pleased and I hope you are as well.

WIthout further to explain..LET'S DIVE IN!

-----------------------------------------------

Introduction: Ladies Lady~

Love is a topic we enjoy talking about, it is in the name of our organization after all, so we do enjoy these ventures on the love of Witches.

And this time we will talk about a particular topic

It is often assumed Witches tend to lean more towards a more sapphic love, which is not entirely true, in reality a large group of Witches through history have been bisexual, being the Aquarian Witches who dominate this trend the most, having lived for more than a thousand years, they have severely expanded their love options, (Including in some cases to things not exactly human...let’s just leave it like that), but the truth is that the sapphic option is what captures the imagination of people the most, so we can’t fault them for leaning more towards the “All Witches are Lesbian” perception.

And on that vein, we will talk about the “Womanizer Witches”, men do not own the monopoly of having lovers all over the globe, women and especially Witches can more than match those numbers, and we will learn about the Witches who have accumulated lovers, about said lovers if information is available, both other Witches and regular girls, and who was the lady who ultimately put the beast down to settle and raise a family together, we’ll meet three of the most notorious examples.

Do keep in mind we will talk about lesbian Witches only, so do not expect to see male lovers in that list, and just because some of them ultimately settled down to one lover, that doesn’t mean their previous exploits do not count, they will be told.

Once that is cleared. Let’s jump in and learn about the ladies of many hearts

Lady Rolande: The Charming Knight.

It is only fitting that this list begins with the Last Roman and the First Knight, the last of the Four Pillars of Rome, Lady Rolande herself, knights are often written in stories as dashing heroes who ride from land to land to vanquish evil and save fair maidens, and this is pretty much the tale of Rolande.

Through her service to Emperor Charles the Great, she lived many adventures, for the most part always standing near the emperor as a Filiae Augustus, but on the moments she had the chance to venture on her own adventures and Charles sent her to various missions, Rolande had the chance to interact with the ladies.

Rolande’s brand of seduction wasn’t intense flirting, it was a very earnest and charming conversation, often playing her cheerful and knightly innocent persona, one gesture that drove the ladies crazy about Rolande was how she would slide one finger from her nose to her forehead to lift a lock of hair, followed by a dashingly cute smile, she always insisted to princess carry the ladies...which they loved, even girls who were taller and heavier, Rolande could manage them all with that lovely smile, she would always let the enchanted ladies invite Rolande into her bed, she would never have sex on a place that wasn’t the bed, she preferred that familiar comfort...she said it made her feel better.

It is known she had approximately 67 lovers across the entire Western Imperial Territory and 3 or 4 in Eastern Imperial Territory, but among the known ladies Rolande seduced we find:

-) Serpina: A peasant roman girl from Hispania, she was the daughter of a dux in Cantabria who was accused of malpractice, as a medic on the town she was accused of killing people with a bad remedy she made, Rolande fought for her honor, proving her innocence and trapped the real culprit, she was enamored with Rolande and would always sleep with her whenever she visited Cantabria.

-) Alodia the Dark Thunder: An Ostrogoth Witch who was known for her peculiar thunder magic in the form of “Black Bolts” she accompanied Rolande in many adventures where they slept many times, it is believed one of the many daughters Alodia had named “Teutoba” is actually from Rolande, making her the only children Rolande had if true.

-) Bertha and Gisela: The Daughters of Emperor Charles, since they were little girls they were in love with Rolande and the Witch granted both their first kisses, later in life they wanted Rolande to take their virginities before being married to someone else, and so did Rolande becoming frequent lovers of both, it is not known if Emperor Charles ever found out about this.

-) Leona: A Merchant from Cartago whom Rolande protected during a sea assault on her ship, after which Rolande escorted the ship to Syracuse...in the end she and Rolande had sex
.and whenever they found each other they would.

-)  Cleotilde: An Egyptian priestess from the Great Temple of Aternum who assisted the Magna Matter at the time in her duties, she was much older than Rolande, by the time Rolande became a Filiae Augustus Cleotilde was 40, but since her days as a Puella Aquilae in the training arenas, Rolande always had the hots for Cleotilde and even at that age, when she graduated as a fully-fledged Witch the first thing she did was seduce Cleotilde, who despite seeing the girl since she was very little let herself be seduced and desired by Rolande, and for many years every time she would come to the temple Rolande would bed her...it remained like that until Cleotilde died of a disease at the age of 55...Rolande was devastated by her death and would say “I’ve grazed flowers, but I only grazed one Cleotilde”

-) Alda: The Younger Sister of Rolande’s roman legionary friend Olivieros, a simple girl of great beauty, she was enamored with Rolande since the moment they met and often flirted and tried to capture her heart...but it was always difficult, until upon suggestion from her brother, she opened up sincerely and actually managed to win Rolande over
.finally the two compromised to each other and they became engaged for many years, unfortunately well...we all know how Rolande’s history ends...upon being given the sad news of Rolande’s sacrifice and death...Alda became so heartbroken and distraught...she collapsed on the floor...when they checked her, they discovered she had died...she simply could not bear to live her life without Rolande and in that moment her soul chose to follow her beloved into the cosmic flow, both incinerated on the same pyre and their ashes were brought to the Witch palace for their resting place
such was the bond of love they shared, they live it in eternity.

Yi-Nari: The Shy Siren.

Shy and all but wait till you know about this insatiable sea creature, Yi-Nari was a young Korean Witch, and one of the most loyal friends and allies to the beloved Fuso Witch, Mori Ranmaru, Yi-Nari was a bastard daughter of the Korean admiral Yi Sun-sin, one of the many Korean Witches Fuso “Bought” from the Joseon dynasty, who influenced by Ming China, did not have the best outlook of Witches, Toyotomi Hideyoshi took care of this and spotted Yi-Nari, noticing her incredible naval talents, she presented her to Oda Nobunaga who took her under his wing, immediately becoming friend with Oran and Zohra...she assisted in saving Nobunaga during the Honnƍ-ji Incident, and since then she became a constant present in Oran’s life, eventually Yi-Nari got her own ship, a Geobukseon named “Chiquitita” (Named by one of her lovers we’ll mention).

Now you might be wondering how was this slender and petite cutie pie such a seductress? That’s the brilliance of her act, she really wasn’t, she was just innocently pure and a gentle soul, like a siren she drew women towards her, not to mention she was very kind and would always engage with local populations, despite how shy she was...she would always make an effort to stand out to combat that shyness, but this only made a funny contrast that became irresistible to women around her, add that she was very beautiful and well groomed, women would always approach to caress and get intimate and she would let them because...well obviously she liked it, even Oran herself said a couple of time how cute Yi-Nari was and if she wasn’t devoted to her lord, she would make her (And Zohra) her concubine.

Yi-Nari had plenty lovers, not as much as Rolande but there is more information about them...approximately 24 lovers, also it should be noted that out of the girls we’ll mention, she is the only one who never settled down and continued to bed these 24 women for the rest of her life, let’s talk about the most notorious and frequent lovers of her:

-) Miyaki: A miko who worked in the Honnƍ-ji temple who began teasing Yi-Nari and slept with her plenty times, Yi-Nari saved her during the incident and she became a constant lover in her life.

-) Altagracia: Good ol Altagracia Coronado, the Hispanian Witch and friend of Oran, whenever she encountered her, she would take notice of cuter Yi-Nari and would invite her for some wonderful products of Liberion and get her drunk so they could have sex...plenty times
.she was the one who helped Yi-Nari get her own Geobukseon and named it “Chiquitita”.

-) Robella: A Dutch merchant and servant of one antagonists Oran and her friends had, she would be saved later by the girls, and would be drawn to Yi-Nari and would seduce her into bed, she later became a dear ally of Oran and Fuso.

-) Lady Kasih: A Malay princess who invited Yi-Nari for a party and then seduced her to have sex right there on the tables of the hall, it was part of a ploy designed by Zohra to rescue Fuso sailors, Kasih’s father was FURIOUS but Kasih would always declare that no one ever pleased her like Yi-Nari did.

-) Michaela Drake: A relative of the famous privateer Francis Drake, a Witch of incredible naval abilities...she considered both Zohra and Yi-Nari her main rivals, until Yi-Nari faced her on a brutal battle between Michaela’s ship “Patagonian Bane” and Yi-Nari’s “Chiquitita”...the latter being absolutely victorious, after which Michaela surrendered and “BEGGED” Yi-Nari to defile her body and subdue her
.Yi-Nari at first refused but eventually did it and “consensually abused her” just to shut her up
.Michaela would always say...she was viciously defiled and ruined as a woman by Yi-Nari...and she loved it...what a weirdo.

Waltrud Krupinski: The Countess

Love was frequent on the fields of the Second Neuroi War...but just one name stands out among all of them, the dashing heroine and handsome Prussian devil of the Brave Witches...Waltrud Krupinski.

One of the most talented and greatest combatants of the war, a true elite Witch of Karlsland, she had it all, the looks, the height, the smile, the slightly tanned skin for a European lady, the charming and flirting attitude, she was a dashing lady of passion and love, few could resists the advances of the Countess and her insatiable lust for women, or so is what people say.

It is easy to qualify Waltrud as a “horny whore” due to how much she flirted and how absolutely shameless she was about it, and if allowed, she could be extremely vulgar with her words, but those who knew Waltrud...knew that she loved and had some degree of care for every single women she slept and seduced...which is impressive because she slept with more than a hundred women, but she backed those claims up once when interviewed about it, she remembered all her names.

So, it is easy to say deep down inside, Waltrud was a girl who was constantly in the search of a kind of love that often eluded her and not many people could understand, fortunately she would found it eventually and settle down with none other than Hikari Karibuchi, the one who finally tamed the countess in a wonderful love story of swords, love and perseverance.

Waltrud was a natural seductress, she did it the old fashioned way, soft words, charming smiles and looks, perfume and sweet words with quick hands...sometimes it got her slapped hard, but others it would work and she would charm a lady into her bed...or on the floor, it mattered not...Waltrud could love you anywhere she wanted, that is why she is such a fascinating figure and that is why her TV series in the future is so insanely popular.

Now the list of women she slept with is huge...but we will provide the most important ones:

-) Gemma: A lovely heavily freckled peasant girl in the village Waltrud grew in, according to Waltrud she was her first love and together when they were very young they laid on the fields, that’s it, eventually they drifted apart...although in the series “Graf Prunski” she is given a much bigger role and heavier weight in Waltrud’s life, ending the first season with Gemma being sent to marry some other guy and Waltrud being unable to stop it...marking her preference and goals for life
.although this did not happen in real life
.but we believe it did have a massive impact in Waltrud’s life...even though she herself did not realize it.

-) Zoltana Harpa:  An Ostmark girl who was a Witch and fell madly in love with Waltrud, Waltrud claims this was her first successful seduction, and had sex with her multiple times before being separated by the war, again in Graf Prunski she is given a much bigger role and even an arch where she accuses Waltrud of hampering her advance in the military, but in the end they make peace.

-) Espinela Brooks: An intrepid Liberion journalist who was making an article in Karlsland, 15 years older than Waltrud and married, still Waltrud seduced her...although later she confessed, she regrets doing this...for obvious reasons.

-) Nurse Hilda, Nurse Liliana and Nurse Kara: All nurses on the training base where Waltrud trained that were seduced by Waltrud and even had a foursome with all of them.

-) Vesna Mikovič: Another Ostmark Witch and member of the second team of Silent Witches, she was MADLY in love with Waltrud after one night of seduction, however Waltrud eventually had to tell her she was not interested in forming relationships at the time, although she was depressed for a while, Vesna accepted it although some part of her always harbored feelings for Waltrud
.as a fun fact though, she married one of Hikari and Waltrud’s two daughters, fascinating.

-) Edytha Rossman: While...they never actually had a relationship, Edytha is VERY important to mention because she is the most influential Witch in Waltrud’s life and it has to be said...Waltrud DID love her and so did Edytha, but their personalities were far too apart and something could never be set between them, it is not really clear to us if they ever were open about their feelings at some point in their lives but...they did remain good friends for the rest of their lives and Waltrud was a Godmother to Edytha’s children, so we can say there was passion there...it just...wasn’t really meant to be.

-) Erica Hartmann: Probably one of the greatest loves in Waltrud life, a companion during training and both had a very passionate and youthful relationship, should it have continued very likely they would have married, and Waltrud really DID love Erica a lot and helped her constantly, especially when Erica had issues of her own about her skills, Waltrud always provided nurture, Waltrud certainly has a type...and it shows with many girls...Erica being one of them. Unfortunately Erica was transferred to another base (This was done by Edytha out of jealousy) an event that completely broke Waltrud...in real life she was depressed for several months before recovering, in Graf Prunski her departure was so severe it broke Waltrud for a complete season where she was very moody and in one scene even attempted to kill herself...but again, this is just for drama
.Erica and Waltrud did remain friends after the war though, and she even was present in Waltrud’s wedding with Hikari.

-)  Nora Taylor: A beautiful Australis Witch Waltrud met during a mission with Nipa, Naoe and Hikari, Waltrud often describes her as one of the most beautiful women she ever laid with, and it certainly left quite the impact on Nora, because in fact...Graf Prunski is written BY NORA’S GRANDDAUGHTER...Aquarian Witch Jacinth Taylor, who wrote all the memoirs of Nora and her thoughts about Waltrud...we took those notes and made Graf Prunski out of them.

-)  Eleonore Giovanna Gassion and Lyudmila Andreyevna Ruslanova: YES, even the Luminous Witches were not immune to Waltrud’s seduction, during one visit to the Petersburg base she and Ellie hit it off and had sex a couple of times much to Aira’s anger...and later on the following day Milasha was angry at Waltrud and went to scold her...and ended up in Waltrud’s bed...she was just that good
.allegedly according to Silvie and Jo, Waltrud also hit it off with Ginny, they did kiss passionately and had some foreplay but Ginny was so excited she fainted before anything could happen, although Ginny herself never confirmed nor denied this.

-)  Hikari Karibuchi: We’ve talked about Hikari and Waltrud’s relationship in the past, so we won’t go overboard here, only to say...it is amazing how Hikari became the one who managed to make the elusive countess commit...many say Hikari’s determination won her over, others say Hikari was just Waltrud’s type to the fullest and that’s it...but we have a different theory, we simply believe...Waltrud’s true fear was being left alone, so she indulged in these relationships as a way to not get overly attached, it failed a couple of times as it did with Erica, her separation with Erica only worsened this attitude, it made her even more of a womanizer than before, but Waltrud also wanted a cute small girl she could care, love and would never abandon her, she was a cuddler and a protector by nature, which is why probably her relationship with Edytha did not take off despite how immensely attracted Waltrud was to her, Edytha was too independent for Waltrud to fully commit...but Hikari? Hikari gave Waltrud EXACTLY What she wanted.

She loved her, after the disastrous betrayal of her sister, Hikari was yearning for someone to truly love her and cuddle her like she needed, she did not mind being a little lady to be protected because she needed that love to find purpose in her life, both Waltrud and Hikari complemented each other very well and that is why, against all odds, Hikari was the girl who domesticated the Countess...and she could not be happier for it.

Conclusion: Is this okay?

Womanizing or any kind of whoring around is always seen as a really bad and negative thing, as it represents a lack of commitment, a lack of respect, the reduction of a woman to a simple commodity and the destruction of feelings, many of these critiques are in fact correct and well-aimed.

However we must also understand, that behind this there is a person who is also trying to find their path in life, Rolande wanted to protect and save because she was worried the Empire was dying off and needed to prove herself, Yi-Nari wanted to feel loved after being rejected as both a Witch and a bastard child and finally Waltrud wanted a little country peasant girl to look for, protect and would NEVER abandon her (She and Hikari did live in the countryside and worked on the farm together).

When women come to our masses for guidance and ask what to do with womanizers, we always tell them “Ask yourselves two question...do they speak of the future with you? When you are together is their gaze on your eyes or your body?” if the answer to both is no and they look at my breasts...then leave them...you’re not the one who is going to save them, save yourselves the trouble and leave
but if it is the opposite...perhaps stay if you really want to commit to that journey...it will be hard though.

But as you saw with Hikari and Alda...it is worth it...because you will have someone who after endless journeys and adventures...just wants to come home and settle down for a peaceful life in a farm~
