About to be a SAHD, what’s the difficulty?
I have a 5 and 7 year old and will be a SAHD next month. Before this both me and my wife were working full time.
I see in here a lot of rants and advice frustrations ect. This is going to come across very rude but what is the difficulty really? In my head we both already maintain the household and having one of us with an extra 40 hours a week will make life far easier.
I already do school drop off and pick ups as my work is flexy so I start at 6 to make up for lost time.
So after school drop off what takes up the time in your day? Cleaning/cooking will only be a few hours but not 8? I’m expecting a decent amount of free time after school drop off no?
What am I missing here?
