This is my heatshield contraption thingy (BP Edited), It can open up for the engine to turn on and close back for re-entries. Any Thoughts or Advice on making it better?

For some reason whenever I try to fly to another star system, the game would bug and freeze at a specific point. Both pc and mobile does this. I try to do anything to fix it and same issues. Some say its cause of timewarping but even at slow speeds I cant even go to alpha centari without the game crashing. I get these are mods but anything I can do?

I was screwing around in sfs when i realised i can put heat shield as its nose. Mixed with the discovery that you can put heat shields like in the picture and have the fairing not burn while leaving a relatively clean and not so visible heatshield, i came up with thus design. I call it, the Astra III. Rymes with Grug.

The lower stage still needs improvement but ive come up with this "cheap" looking design that recovers the main engine while the main tank burns up. I need your design
