My cyberpunk short film was supposed to premiere at a film festival last weekend but the organizers forgot to tell us we'd been bumped from the lineup. It's not perfect, but it took us two years to create, and we built a browser game to go with it.

Versatile composer seeking paid work
Hi, I'm Louis Palfrey, a composer and sound designer from the UK.
I just updated my reel today and wanted to share. I've had some great collaborations come from Reddit in the past and I am always keen to find more great filmmakers to work with.
My music and sound work is varied. There is no fixed genre that I prefer to work in. I aim to please my clients and collaborators, while putting my own spin on things based on my skills and experience. I do not use AI. I'm professional and highly communicative with my collaborators, as evidenced by the testimonials on my website.

I'd love to get involved with any (paid) projects that you might have going on or coming up.
Please feel free to message me on here, but I am usually more responsive on Discord: Louis_Palfrey or email: [mouthless@hotmail.co.uk](mailto:mouthless@hotmail.co.uk)
Hope you have a great day/evening/whatever!

Reformat - Episode 2: Detect | Crime, Drama Short Film
I originally made this short as Episode 2 of a web series called Reformat. I only ended up making two episodes, but I've been revisiting the project and thinking about whether the story could eventually become a feature film.
The film follows a man who's lost faith in a decaying city and decides to take matters into his own hands.
I'd love for you to give it a watch!
I'm curious about two things:
- Did the story and the main character's motivations work for you?
- Would you be interested in seeing this concept developed into a feature film?
I'm always looking to improve as a filmmaker, so I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks for watching!

Flying’s Hard (2026) — Appalachian Musical Ghost Story | Official Teaser
I’ve spent the past several months creating Flying’s Hard, an original animated musical ghost story inspired by Appalachian folklore and the landscapes of the American South.
This is a 39-second teaser for the approximately 10-minute short film, featuring original music, supernatural characters, and a rather unusual raven in a bowler hat.
The full film premieres October 21, 2026, on my YouTube channel, Post Modern Art (@MaJelArt).
The production combines AI-assisted animation with original storytelling, music, and editing.
I’d love to hear what fellow filmmakers think of the atmosphere, music, and visual storytelling. Thanks for watching!
