Making an Ancestor Idol for my latest asset pack, The Old Ways. Right on time for some less conventional, folklore-inspired Halloween maps and adventures. 🐦‍⬛

For this collection, I wanted to explore the more unsettling side of folklore, drawing inspiration from Slavic, Celtic, Turkic, and Norse traditions, ancient rituals, the worship of old gods, and superstitions passed down through generations.

This wooden idol is one of the centerpieces of the pack. I imagined it weathered by time but still carefully tended to by those who remember the old customs.

The Old Ways is now available on on Roll20 and on my Patreon.
