Guild hunters, Monster Hunters, or more commonly, just Hunters, are what are sent in when something (usually) not humanoid is causing trouble for common folk. A dangerous trade, one that's often met with fatalities at the worse times, and little work in the best of times. Often times it takes someone that's a little crazy, talented, or both to become a proper hunter, and even then, most that take that sort of guild work often do other forms of work, as well.
Alto was one of those (mildly crazy) few, though he more considered himself as a generic sdventurer just working through the guild for whatever request they might've had for him. Taking care of a basilisk harassing local livestock, chasing off an owlbear that was was too close to town than people were comfortable with- even delving into a dungeon because the local farmboy had gotten overzealous, and either needed rescue or body collection. All sorts of things that were in his usual retinue of jobs taken.
Unfortunately, through his travels, a direct request had come through, though he had already seen the telltale signs of what he would probably be dealing with, before the paperwork was ever in front of him. Burnt fields, livestock torn in two, homes and smaller villages reduced to ash. All of which, in combination, usually pointed to one sort of being in particular.
A dragon.
Dragons weren't for Hunters to take care of- if it could be reasoned with, spoken to and have it speak back, then it usually fell outside their wheelhouse. Unless it was a rare occasion where a draconic disturbance was so...profound, that it warranted direct intervention from someone more qualified with slaying beasts than anything sapient.
Alto being alone, however, wasn't to hunt the dragon. Instead, he was a scout, more or less, to chart the path a larger force would take into the lair of whatever local dragon had been terrorizing the people nearby. A blessing in disguise, though no less dangerous if he ended up getting caught.
At first, his investigation began with asking around, carefully prodding for information to see where he needed to head, and what to watch out for. Some locals were happy to hear the scaled thing was being taken care of, finally, after years of tithing and offerings for protection. Others were sorrowful, ashamed for whatever reason that the "Crimson dame" had to be brought low. The latter, more interestingly, implied it was a red dragon- which made sense, the chromatic sort were more inclined to cause trouble, after all.
Either way his investigations had eventually landed him climbing up the nearby mountain, trying to chart a path that nore average folks could follow, until he happened upon the cave that led to the lair deeper within. Which, of course, meant he had to go deeper, and ensure no traps would block the way of the raid team that'd follow later.
As he pushed deeper, he noticed a myriad of arcane traps- runes carved by claw into the ground and similar- that had already been set off. No, disabled, which was probably no easy feat. It was a veritable cakewalk with no resistance, for the most part, until he finally hit the dragon's lair proper. Remnants of what used to be mounds of gold and treasure, burn marks, claw gashes, and a myriad of other things that pointed to a battle happening before he arrived.
But, the most important thing remaining, was the woman at the center of the chaos. Humanoid, with crimson scales lining her arms. A pair of wings behind her back, tucked close to an injured body, and an almost regal set of horns atop her head.
And a pair of wary, sharp eyes, locked onto the new intruder, who had met her gaze just an instant before.

Woo, alright! But of a messy start, but I hope you'll forgive me!
Anyway, hi, hello, it's me again. It's been a while since I've written an actually new prompt, but hey, this is one is pretty simple! As you might've been able to tell, I'm looking for some classic fantasy shenanigans, including the obligatory "i roll to seduce the dragon" jokes that come with this sort of thing.
For a quick synopsis of what I'm looking for, though, this will be a more or less romance/adventure type idea, in the midst of a high medieval fantasy world. A variety of monsters, types of people, magic, scenery, ect and so on. The main plot, so to speak, will be following Alto (or whatever name I end up deciding on), a barely experienced adventurer/guild hunter, and the new conundrum he's found landing in his lap- a Dragoness with metaphorical clipped wings. To elaborate, I find the prospect of a dragon being suddenly unable to polymorph/change back to their proper draconic form very interesting, and hey, figuring out the why/how and a method to undo that block sounds like a good plot thread.
Moving on- if our dragoness if responsible for the destruction below or not is entirely up in the air, hence why some people were sad to see her go, whereas others might feel the opposite. All of this set dressing is subject to change, of course, but I like to imagine she's been there for a while, and has acted as at least some form of deterrence for any other nasties that might've wanted to move into the area. Either way, I'd love to discuss if it's a case of her being framed and left feeble, or if she's really the cause of the trouble, and her "clipped wings" are just a punishment for it. I should also mentioned that the clipped wings aspect is meant to mostly be figurative, since there's been some confusion on that.
For Alto, the quick version is that I generally picture him as a wolf Kemonomimi (Aka the ears and tail, nothing else), with a more....slender, almost rogueish type build? Handsome over manly, if that makes sense. I can elaborate/show examples further, but I've gotta kinda keep things shorter so this post doesn't go on forever.
For the general housekeeping stuff, I roleplay in third person, past tense, with about 3-5 paragraphs per post. I'm looking for a partner that's over 21 for this, and at a similar post length. My preferred platform is discord, but I like to converse some here on reddit to make sure we'll match up well before moving over. I'd also like to not just be someone that tosses replies at just a roleplay, as well- I like to think I'm pretty friendly, and I enjoy chattering and talking about dumb ideas for the OCs, so please, don't be a stranger.
As for the more NSFW side of things, I'm open to it and do enjoy including those elements. Not a hard requirement, but definitely something I'd like to see in moderation. The more detailed oriented stuff can be spoken about in private, however.
With all that being said, thanks for reading if you've made it this far! This post feels absolutely massive as I'm writing it (which may not be the case upon actually seeing it), so I honestly wouldn't blame some folks if they got filtered out by the length of everything. Either way, if this interests you, feel free to reach out with what you liked and whatever ideas you might have for the prompt as a whole! If your message doesn't have some ideas pr thoughts, though, it'll be unlikely that I respond.
