Hi all. I’m looking at getting my son his first retro handheld. He really likes playing the NES and SNES games on our Switch and I thought he’d love his own handheld for Christmas.

here’s the thing: we want to stick with early games so we want to go as cheap as possible without sacrificing reliability. I’m looking for a device that can play up to GBA and maybe PS1, though that’s not necessary. I have a ton of old GBC and GBA games I would like to dump to it.

Any suggestions? I thought about just buying a GBA but they are more expensive than the retro consoles.

I need help deciding on a quality handheld

So, guys, I will need help, I'm about to release Pre-Alpha-0.0.2 for LilSmokeOS, and I need testers, you guys can call me on private chat, with your device name, and the zipped cubegm folder(only the cubegm folder). And then I can deliver the personalized img and instructions to use it, logs, etc...

Any words of wisdom for replacing the top shell and screen on the RPF2?
