My mom died 15 years ago. What if she's already reincarnated into someone else and is not waiting for me when I die?
This has been really bothering me lately. I am expecting her to greet me with open arms.

A quick article about past life regression for people new to this sub.
Past life regression is a form of therapy that aims to uncover memories from previous lifetimes that may be impacting your current life. While the concept may sound far-fetched to some, many people have reported experiencing significant healing and relief from trauma through this type of therapy.
Trauma can manifest in a variety of ways, including anxiety, depression, and physical pain. It can also be caused by events that happened in previous lifetimes, which can be difficult to identify and address through traditional therapy methods. Past life regression seeks to uncover and heal these hidden traumas by tapping into your subconscious mind and exploring memories from your past lives.
During a past life regression session, you will be guided into a relaxed state of hypnosis. This will allow you to access memories from past lives that you may not be consciously aware of. As you explore these memories, you may begin to understand how they are impacting your current life and how they may be contributing to your trauma.
One of the key benefits of past life regression is that it allows you to gain a deeper understanding of your trauma. By exploring the memories and emotions associated with your past lives, you may be able to identify patterns of behavior or negative thought patterns that are contributing to your current struggles. This awareness can be the first step towards healing.
Additionally, past life regression can provide a sense of closure and resolution for past traumas. By revisiting these experiences in a safe and controlled environment, you may be able to process and release the emotions and pain associated with them. This can help you to move forward in your current life without being weighed down by the trauma of your past lives.
It's important to note that past life regression is not a quick fix or a replacement for inner healing work. It can be a powerful tool to aid in the healing process, but it should be used in conjunction with other forms of self healing work and under the guidance of a professional practitioner.
In conclusion, past life regression can be a valuable tool for healing trauma in your current life. By exploring memories from past lives, you may be able to gain a deeper understanding of your trauma, identify patterns of behavior, and find closure for past traumas. If you're struggling with trauma and traditional therapy methods have not been effective, it may be worth exploring past life regression as a potential solution.
I hope this helps someone in some way. đ

Hello!! I was talking with my friend recently about the various kinds of afterlives and which we'd prefer. One conversation stuck out to me and it was reincarnation. Ive always felt that if I were to be reincarnated, id just be so.. Done.. and tired. i feel this deep exhaustion in my soul when it comes to being alive. Not that I want to die or anything, I mean I used to have really serious suicidal ideation ever since I was 9 years old and maybe a little before that but since then, the feeling has gone away after getting on birth control to help with PMDD and getting away from abusive situations and everything. So I wouldn't necessarily do anything to leave this earth and I'd also do everything in my power to prevent it but in the event that I DID die, I just feel my soul become heavy and like.. Tired thinking about entering another entire life Id have to live. I wouldn't want to relive this one nor relive another separate life in another body in general.
It feels like when you have a ton of homework after already working a double shift at a busy Sonic or something. That like heavy, procrastination-y, exhausted feeling. That I-mean-if-I-have-to vibe. That I'd-do-anything-to-get-out-of-this desire.
It kind of feels like maybe I've already done this like once or twice maybe and my soul just feels so so bored and tired of it. It feels like a been-there, done-that situation. Maybe if I could remember this life, id be more inclined to relive one but if Im just doing it again for the hell of it and without any prior knowledge of all the effort ive done, it just seems so tiring to do it all again.
Does anyone feel this way as well? Im just curious :D!

I have a very realistic dreams that feel more like hoping into someone's memories than anything, really. In dreams I know I'm dreaming, I have my own consciousness, thoughts and emotions, I just am in someone's mind like a passenger that can see and experience this other person emotions, see their thoughts, feel what they feel and so on. It isn't one person, I jump countries, situations, different decades and so on, so I'm not even sure if it's something for this group.
I really don't mind that, dreams are dreams, but it just occurred to me that I know things I really shouldn't be knowing and they are way too natural. About whole different countries and cultures, architecture I have never seen before, language and idioms from languages I didn't even hear in my life. Some things I checked and it turned out to be accurate, some things I have not enough information to check myself.
I want to ask here, because I don't know where else to ask to confirm another thing. I dreamt about two women, one at home and the one I was, was coming back from somewhere. I have only part of a weird layout of flat (definitely not something that would be built on my continent), where half the kitchen had half-walls and I think the sink was separate on the opposite wall near window. It's such atypical thing for my whole continent that I'm curious if it really exists or not. I think it was around 90', very colorful flat with fabrics and beaded things, but it didn't exactly look western. I think it was somewhere in Asia, but i think the women emigrated from somewhere.
Maybe someone knows anything about cultures with separate sink that sounds familiar?
Also I'd gladly hear what would you call this hyperrealistic dreams. They don't bother me as such, but they certainly made me curious. They aren't reoccurring, they are not a sign of trauma or caused by any medication, I had them since I remember. The people in whose head I am in my dreams feels emotions completely different to me, thinks differently in ways that I'd never could, I feel all of their senses and experiences very accurately, smells, sounds, taste, how fabrics feels on this person's skin, their pain, but I know it's not mine. So, any thoughts?

Not sure if this is the right community, so hopefully I donât upset anyone.
So, I helped raise my little brother, from around age 2 (I was 10) we were inseparable.
It was him being born that got me through some very very dark times. He gave me reason to live.
before he brother passed, a few years ago, he told me that when he goes he would come back to tell me all about it (provided he could).
He was convinced heâd go before me.
He also joked that he would make my feet itch. I had told him at the time Iâd haunt him worse, and make his hands itch. He thought that was ridiculous lol.
A year before he went, he told me he was happy I fell in love, because he had been waiting to know I would be okay.
A week after he died, my hands itched like they had psoriasis.
And last week, I was rolling a joint by myself. Suddenly, in my head I heard âyou still suck at thatâ.
His voice. Out of the blue. I figured I was having an episode or something, but I entertained it and replied.
He teased me like he used to, and told me not to say sorry (again).
Then I asked him wth? Why hadnât I heard from him and what the hell is he going through.
He said it took him 9 months to have free will again. That the first nine months is like a rebirth, a hibernation of the self to process the data gathered during life and determine the next step. He said it was confusing, like a dream with a plot that he had to figure out before waking up.
Then he said that itâs basically like it is here, but without time or pain.
You can travel, but it isnât a walking or moving sensation. Youâre just there.
He described it as the soul becoming a save file, it canât access any new data (youâre an autopilot version of yourself, unable to entertain new ideas, change your mind or experience anything new).
I laughed and ate a dorito chip, saying âso you canât have any?â
He said âno bish, but I can experience that first crunch for as long as a want.â
Like a vivid dream. It isnât new, itâs a re-creation of whatâs already happened.
He said that life as WE know it is the engine, the cosmic possibility generator. He said that life wouldnât be motivated to do anything unless spurred on by the chaos of life.
That thatâs the reason people re-incarnate is to âupdateâ their save file. Chasing after a perfect eternal form.
I guess that first nine months though really matters. He said that your existence is essentially reduced down to whatever point of focus you have/whatever has your current attention. If you obsesses over a concept or memory, you can either become something akin to a demon, or end up replaying that memory over and over again infinitely.
He said that heaven used to be heaven, it was filled with simple people that wanted peace. And now itâs whatever you make it. Intentionally or not. You could end up re-living your worst hell if you donât have a handle on it.
And that itâs very hard to interact with this world bc you need an insane amount of attention. Like youâre pulling together time and space to function inside a single moment.
But itâs easier if we call them. They can hear when we put our focus/attention onto them, and it makes it easier to reincarnate or communicate.
Our conversation stopped abruptly and he disappeared when he asked me to come with him. He said it like it was a âduhâ moment, like âcmon! Letâs go!â.
(He knew what this meant, I could tell he knew)
I told him I couldnât, and felt the excitement drain from him. I said I didnât even know if this was real, and that I want to see what this life has left in it. He just went quiet and left.
Honestly just need to share this. I feel insane.

What if the people valued as the lowest in society are actually the people doing it right? Like they come to earth school and get totally kicked around in life by various circumstances which accelerates their growth?

Hello This is an old throwaway account but I came back to it for this. I think i might have live a life before. I remember things that I shouldn't have no idea of what it was like they range from a child in the 90's too a young teen? in the 2000's. I remember a cute pink room and old tech and toys like big chunky computers and those old colorful see through tech toys. I have a strong attraction to old tech now and love old 90's and 2000's stuff. Neopets is one of my favorite things but like whenever i play it/ see it old merch i feel like i lived it before and had stuff like it before. Does anyone know what to do about this feeling. i feel it just ends sometime in the young teen years like that previous life died then.

Apologies for the long text. I truly have no one else to ask or talk to about these matters.
I am a 38-year-old woman and I have been an atheist for as long as I can remember. Due to my profession (I am a doctor) and my medical specialty, I encounter the death of 2 to 3 adult patients a week. Until the passing of my grandfatherâone of my favorite peopleâ12 years ago, I never had any doubts regarding either the afterlife or the belief in God. He reached out to me through a dream, which enabled me to fix an issue regarding a mix-up with his grave (it's a long story). I brushed it off at the time thinking "we are made of energy, and energy cannot be destroyed," but spiritually, this was the first thing that opened a door for me.
Over the last 3-4 months, I started getting interested in spiritual topics. Most recently, a few days ago, I stumbled upon a regression video on YouTube (around 40 minutes long). Deep down, I didn't really believe in it, but I was curious and decided to try it.
First of all, I should mention that the dominant religion of the country where I was born and raised is not Judaism. But weirdly I called my grandma âbubbyâ since I was a baby. Although I have a few Jewish friends, I have no personal connection or background knowledge, yet I've always felt drawn to it. I tried to understand their language, liked their culture, and could never quite explain this curiosity.
When I tried following this video, after a while, I went to a place I had never seen or known in my life. I saw a manhole cover beneath my feet and the asymmetrical iron frame on it. I saw the unevenness of the cobblestones/pavement stones, and I looked at the buildings. Technical details like the number of floors, the ratio of wooden materials, etc., stayed in my mind. In front of me was a girl around 10 years old; she wasn't my child, but I felt that bored, obligated sense of responsibility as I waited for someone with her. I remember the heavy brown boots on my feet and my long ruffled skirt. The girl was also wearing a dress with a long ruffled skirt. Then suddenly I snapped out of it and returned to my own life. I couldn't go any further and somehow woke up (though I wasn't actually asleep).
When I put all the details together, I researched online and found that it corresponded to a era after 1910. With the help of AI, I saw that it could be a Jewish neighborhood. While examining Prague and Vienna one by one, I was shocked by one of the old postcard photos I found. I am almost 99% sure it was Judenplatz, where the Jewish Museum currently stands.
My question to you is: why couldn't I proceed further, given that I want to see more? Is there a YouTube account or content you could recommend to me? I ask myself if I was just imagining it, but every detail and the feelings I experienced during that moment are so vivid in my mind that I am now certain it was a real memory.

Hello everyone,
I am writing to this community from Turkey, searching for any genealogical, historical, or institutional archive information regarding a woman named Ellen Everritt, who served in the Auxiliary Fire Service (AFS) / London Fire Brigade during World War II (records point to around 1942).
The reason behind my search is a highly specific historical coincidence that I am trying to research objectively.
About 4 to 5 years ago, when I was 23 or 24 years old, I had an incredibly vivid and detailed dream set during a wartime bombardment. In this dream, I found myself navigating chaotic streets, noticing very specific architectural layouts, and entering a library/archive building through a particular side entrance on the left. In the dream, I was acting as a protector, trying to shield a woman and a young girl (around 4â9 years old) in the midst of the chaos, and I later experienced a profound sense of guilt in an alleyway.
I have no British heritage, my English is basic, and I have never studied British wartime historyâin fact, throughout my life, I have only ever read and researched Islamic history, and Mongol/Turkic history. However, during a personal research session, the phonetic sounds of the names "Lillian" and "Ellen" intensely came to my mind. Shortly after, I accidentally discovered the archive photograph of Ellen Everritt and experienced an overwhelming sense of visual recognition regarding her uniform and appearance.
Furthermore, upon checking the real-world historical locations, the structures from my dream perfectly match the layout of the York Minster Library (The Old Palace) and the adjacent Purey-Cust Lodge during the Baedeker Blitz on April 29, 1942âdown to the specific side alleys and the rooflines.
I am approaching this with a purely objective and historical curiosity to see if any real-world connections or explanations exist. I would be profoundly grateful if anyone here could help with the following:
Thank you so much for your time and historical expertise.
Best regards from Turkey.

Previous to my coma I was an atheist. I had knowledge of Christianity and vague info on some other religions but not really Hinduism or Hindu gods at all.
I was In a coma and had a massive spiritual experience, I went through what I can only explain to be soul trials. Iâll eventually write it all down.
But the headline was- that Iâm supposed to share with people is that reincarnation is real and we need to look after the planet because when you die youâll be reincarnated as a baby and you donât get a choice of when, where or the wealth and status of that family or how traumatic or nurturing your upbringing will be.
The purpose of life is love and connection and thereâs also something about dancing. We need to dance, go to live music and connect. Itâs all energy and collective dancing is one of the biggest energy creators/connectors.
We need to look after the world and everyone in it. I came to the conclusion that solar punk is the way forward but thatâs just me. Probably universal basic income too.
I saw the Hindu god ganesh and I knew nothing about him before. And I saw lakshmi on the way out of the coma. Lots of lotus symbolism. For context Iâm white British In a predominantly white very backwards and isolated area so Iâm really not accustomed to any of these symbols or beliefs.
Also human history is far vaster than we currently believe. Historians just arenât keen on re-writing it. Itâs not important to remember your past lives, in fact if you try to you might end up dying from your body processing the trauma. Iâve processed a fair amount of mine and itâs pretty horrific processing a lot of deaths Iâll be honest. Itâs also part of why I nearly didnât survive. I woke up with this insane amount of optimism and also I was told (by the deities) that I need to share this so please just tell everyone itâs real. We could they tell them even on the off chance itâs not - better safe than sorry really. But it is. Oh and the deities are the same ones that people see with DMT they just take different forms, and your brain releases that before you die. Also generally, make good choices. Karma is also: if you do good things you become a good person and thatâs the reward. And if you do bad things you become a bad person and thatâs the punishment. We are the sum of our choices. Very basic but hard in practice.
Happy to answer any questions.

I heard if reincarnation exist then we will eventually reach a final one. However what does it look like is there a way to tell if you or someone is on your last one.
I reach a point in my life where I have no hate towards anyone. And I see everyone as equal. I am also transgender and was told that might also be proof I already lived many lives before. I also heard that if the soulmate thing exists eventually a soul will reach a life where it will not want a partner. I gave up on dating and decided to never again purse romantic love.

Where does this belief that you choose your next life or how youâre reincarnated next time come from?
From my NDE/coma this is totally not true. It sounds nice and hopeful but so many of us have had awful lives (theyâre tests and soul development btw) I donât know how people justify the idea we could have chosen it?

Can person A reincarnate as person B even if person A is alive during the birth of person B?
