I’m not gonna tell you the five ways we are going to beat the Bills on Sunday.  I can’t even think of one.

And I’m not gonna tell you it will get any better the following week against the Rams.

But I can say with all of my Raiders confidence that our record will be 4-4 after beating the Jets in week 8.

And coming off the disaster that was last year, if I told you we’d be 4-4 after eight games, would you have signed up for that?

Yeah, me too.  In a second.

Don’t let the beat down last week (or the one this week or likely the one next week) beat you down.  This is not the time to give up.   

You had 20 years to do that.

After that amazing first 3 3/4 weeks of the season, unfortunately the Raiders returned to being the Raiders last week.

And unless Hailee Steinfeld turns into Madison Beer forcing Josh Allen to turn into Justin Herbert, this Sunday could be even worse.

But this is just part of the process. 

Oh, I’m not gonna tell you to trust it, we’ve been down this road too many times, but I will tell you that what you thought you saw against the Dolphins, Chargers, Saints (and most of KC) was real.

And it was spectacular.

For the first time in forever we are actually building something here. It just won't happen with the snap of a middle finger.
