Question Czechia vs Spain on 12 November — how can an overseas visitor buy a ticket?

Hi everyone! I’m a football fan from India visiting Prague and hoping to attend Czechia vs Spain at epet ARENA on 12 November 2026. I’m looking for one adult ticket.
I contacted the Czech federation, and they advised that purchasing currently requires a verified Fotbal+ account. Unfortunately, I don’t have Czech Bank iD, so I haven’t been able to complete verification.
Has anyone visiting from abroad successfully bought tickets through an official channel? Is there an alternative verification method using a passport, or a way to buy through Spain’s away allocation?
My hotel suggested Viagogo, but I’m unsure about ticket validity, name transfers and identification checks. Has anyone had experience with these for Czech national team matches?
I’d appreciate advice on legitimate purchasing options. Please share public links or guidance in the comments rather than private ticket offers. Thanks!

Question Delays at the Ministry of the Interior (in Prague 6)

Hi everyone,
I have been waiting for a while (about a month) to receive an appointment at the MOI and wondering if anyone has been able to schedule anything at their office. I know there was a fire in the grocery store adjacent to the MOI but not sure how long I will have to possibly wait. Has anyone been able to conduct their business there recently?

Community Events FYI for Signal Festival goers

Last night I visited the paid sites (Prague 1&6) as well as free sites in the center, using one-day ticket. I have not yet visited the free sites in Prague 6. Given that rain is in forecast for Saturday night, tonight is likely to be a very busy night.

Some FYIs for family visiting with kids & one-day ticket holders:

1) Visually interesting sites for kids in the center -- videomapping (old town square, free), Mercedes-Benz sponsor site (Clam-Gallas Palace, free), 4 paid sites (Kostel sv. Šimona a Judy, Právnická fakulta, Mirror Chapel of Klementinum, Divadlo X10)

2) Crazy long line -- I intentionally waited until after 21.00 on Thursday night to visit the paid sites in the center to avoid lines. People who had visited Jízdárna Savarin (paid site) earlier in the evening had warned me about the long line at this site, so I decided to go late. I was stuck in line for 50 min (22.50 - 23.40). The non-VIP line did not look long, but only small number of people is allowed in every 10 min, most of them are VIP tix holders through VIP line, so the non-VIP line barely moved. Many people in non-VIP line dropped out. Before allowing into the site, staff briefed my cohort (about 10 people) to inform us that it is pitch black inside and we were asked to turn off the phone and put it in a black bag they provided. No kidding, it was indeed completely dark with light flashed for 1 second every 20 second or so, my cohort could not see our way to move beyond the entry point, so we were just clustering at entry point, most of us decided to get out after a minute.

3) The paid-sites worth standing in line for -- the only paid site I did not visit last night is the inconveniently-located Old Wastewater Treatment Plant. This year I find Divadlo X10 the most interesting, be aware: 1) need to walk 2 flights of stairs to basement, there is no elevator, 2) the very interesting video presentation is longer than 10 minute and people are spending rather long time at this small site. I stayed 20 min. On a busy night, the time in line could be long. Kostel sv. Šimona a Judy, Právnická fakulta, Mirror Chapel of Klementinum are all moderately interesting.

Question AI & startup scene recommendations?

Hello,

I’m coming from Switzerland and will be in Prague from November 2–6 for an event hosted by one of our partners.
I’d love to explore the local startup scene, especially around AI, MarTech and tech startups.

Any recommendations for cool startup hubs, incubators, coworking spaces, VCs, or events happening that week?

Would also be happy to meet local founders and people from the tech community!

Thanks for your help.

Question International student budgeting

Hey guys

I’m planning to apply to study in MUP next year and I’m just wondering how much exactly do I need in total $ so I can be in the safe spot with no stress. I’m trying to estimate the tuition and living cost I also plan to work there since MUP offers part time studying and allows student to have jobs, if you know anything about this please let me know. The MUP tuition is $3542 a year and I will be staying in shared apartment meaning I’ll rent a room.

Is $20,000 to $30,000 enough to start? While also planning to work? I just need more clarity and realistic info from real experiences

Thanks in advance

Other Missed connection: Blonde girl in Prague center ( yesterday,Friday)

Mi piacerebbe mettermi in contatto.

Question I want to experience being on a motorbike ride.

I am shooting my shot even though I think this will probably end up nowhere.

I have been a huge fan of motorbikes for a large part of my life. It just got incredibly heightened when I started nerding and geeking out on books a few years back. The fascination has just been increased over time as I'm a bookworm now. This also got me interested in MotoGP and the bike customisations. (I might not know much about it though).

I recently went to suburbs of Prague and found out a lot of people were in full gears and riding bikes. Hence, here I am asking. I want to experience being on a motorbike bike ride, if anyone seems to be open to take me on a bike ride, even across the city, for a span of 10 mins, I would be grateful. I have never done anything of this sort and by posting this I'm just being very out of my character.

It's just that I have never been on a bike before and want to experience the thrill, almost be a part of the speed and rev. it has. The freedom it gives as other riders say. I drive a car quite often and love the peace it brings me. Wanted to try out an experience of a bike ride.

For reference: I'm a girl in her mid 20s.

Thanks in advance. Also, I absolutely promise, this is just pure fascination for the Motorbikes and the thrill of it.

Question Is Prague a good place to study fine arts?

I’m thinking of continuing my studies with a masters related to traditional painting ,and I’d like to do it somewhere in Europe. I’m wondering if the arts is a prominent element to this city and whether artists thrive there at all?

Question Staropramen beer flavour?

I’ve just tried staropramen beer and it tasted nice but then I thought it tasted a bit acetone-y? I was eating cheese and crackers with it and then my throat kinda was warm, not sure if paranoid… 😥 or if it’s the beer or if I’m gonna die lol

And also I’m paranoid cause of all the alcohol poisonings that happen around the world and also cause this was a gifted beer and I didn’t buy it myself lol. Too paranoid or what??

Question Where to buy fresh sage

Ahoj everyone!

Okay maybe someone will think this is a bit of a random post but, I'm really craving some pumpkin gnocchi or risotto, and what's the best herb to go with it? Sage!! I NEVER find it in supermarkets in Prague, but maybe I'm just unlucky, soooo has anyone ever seen FRESH sage sold somewhere, anywhere at this point??

Ps. I know I could just grow it, I guess, bit first I'm horrible - I manage to kill cactuses - second, I live in an apartment with the cutest cat ever that tries to destroy everything I care about so that's not really an option!

Pls let me have some sage and butter with my pumpkin 🎃
