Found a lost dog chasing a coyote down 42nd near SE Francis and Creston Park. She’s hanging in our back yard now. She has a collar but she hasn’t calmed down enough for us to check it yet.

This is going to be a nonjudgmental group—with no egos. So if you’re looking to find some people to run with that don’t take it too seriously this group is perfect for you.

This very small, very sweet male cat has been hanging around the neighborhood for the past couple of months. Recently he’s been coming to my porch a lot, and he seemed very small. Then I started noticing him in my yard in the middle of the night/very early in the morning (4am) when I wake up. Outdoor cats still usually go home at night.
Last night he came onto my porch while I was out there, and I noticed he was un-neutered. I gave him some turkey, which he scarfed down so fast. So I then gave him a bowl of my cats’ kibble, and then he scarfed that whole bowl down too. So I filled the bowl up again, and he kept on eating.
When I went back outside this morning at 4am, that second bowl of kibble was almost entirely gone. So this poor little guy was STARVING. Then while I was out there, he showed up again. I gave him a giant can of wet food which he is currently scarfing down. His fur was soaking wet. I can’t just leave this poor cat to fend for himself outside, especially with winter coming. The problem is, I already have two cats, and I live in my father’s house, and I know he wouldn’t want me bringing a 3rd cat into the home. If anyone can provide this sweet cat a good home, I am willing to help pay for this cat to get neutered/vaccinated.
These are the best pictures I could get as it is dark outside and the cat kept moving around, but he is adorable. He has the prettiest, softest coat, and he is just the sweetest, friendliest thing ever. He also keeps trying to run into the house every time I open the front door. This is absolutely pulling on my heartstrings and I am desperate to find this little guy a warm, loving home with someone who loves cats as much as I do.
Send me DM if you think you or someone you know may be able to help. Thank you so much!

You’re not sticking it to the man by yelling at an Amazon driver to go fuck themselves. I used to deliver in Vancouver and never got this treatment, and now have delivered in NE Portland for the past 6~ months and I get this at least once a week. Stop yelling at random wage workers trying to do their work and go home, it’s weird as fuck

Its election season and there's ads everywhere, including a ton (at least on my feeds) for a very slick-designed PAC that's all about "Pragmatic Progressivism"- sure, that's something I can get behind. So I figured I'd check their website and- since we're afforded quite an incredible amount of transparency with Oregon's campaign finance reporting laws- I wanted to check out their campaign finance filings on ORESTAR and see who's actually steering the ship at this "grassroots coalition". Turns out it's mostly Executives and Real Estate Investors/Developers.
Anywho, I wrote my own detailed assessment of their finances here anyone wants my read, or if you're a sick freak who'd rather rather dig straight into the data yourself, you can check out the spreadsheet with all the ORESTAR campaign finance reports and other number-crunching on it.
TL;DR: It's Tim Boyle and a bunch of other crazy-rich folks in a trench coat with a hastily-applied #resist sticker on it they hope passes as progressivism.
