Tito P of the Machong Chismisan podcast skipped the invitation of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) earlier this week and cited his mental health concerns. The invitation coming from the NBI was due to the now-deleted episode where he mocked Josh Aquino and compared him to his younger brother, Bimby Aquino, while the rest of the hosts seemed to be laughing at the comment. 

The episode drew backlash from netizens and called out the hosts for the inappropriate comments made against Josh.

Daniel Vivar was the first to arrive at the NBI while Tito P sent a letter through his legal team that explained why he couldn’t go–– citing his mental health as the reason. 1PWD Party-list’s John Daniel Castro, who filed a complaint against the hosts and the producers of the podcast, maintained that they will have to verify the official diagnosis of Tito P.

“We have to verify kung talagang diagnosed si sir–– si Tito P–– ng sinasabi niyang bipolar and ADHD kasi wala naman attachment yung letter so we’ll have to see din… It will never be an excuse–– hindi natin hahayaan na gamitin din yung kapansanan para makalusot sila sa ginawa nila sa may mga kapansanan,” he said.

Meanwhile, NBI Director Melvin Matibag asserted that even though the hosts may opt not to go to their headquarters for questioning, they will still investigate the situation at hand and use their podcast as the basis of the complaint.  

“Kung hindi man sila dumating, ang pag babasihan natin dito ay yung kanilang mismong podcast at tsaka yung nangyari. Malinaw sa batas sa ilalim ng Magna Carta for Persons with Disability Republic Act 7277 na ito’y inamendahan ng Republic 9442, ipinagbabawal ang pampublikong pangungutsa at paninirang puri laban sa taong may kapansanan at may kaakibat itong multa at pagkakakulong,” the NBI Director claimed. 

Previously, Tito P released a statement that he is also neurodivergent and that he has learned from his actions. Machong Chismisan also uploaded a public apology and assured everyone that they will be accountable for what transpired. 

“As someone with ADHD, impulse control can make filtering thoughts difficult. An edgy joke might pop into my head, and before my executive functioning can evaluate the social risk, it has already been said aloud.  I share this not to excuse my behavior, but to provide context,” Tito P previously shared

Dito ako napapaisip. Paano kung totoong issued ng LGU ang PWD ID, pero hindi naman dumaan sa tamang assessment o walang sapat na medical documentation para suportahan ang disability claim? Technically, totoong ID siya dahil galing sa kinauukulan, pero paano naman ang legitimacy ng claim sa likod nito?

Hindi ba dapat mas mahigpit ang verification process, regardless kung may kakilala o kamag-anak sa loob? Hindi dapat nagiging shortcut ang personal connections para makakuha ng benefits na para talaga sa mga taong qualified.

Linawin ko lang, hindi lahat ng disability ay visible, at hindi rin natin puwedeng husgahan ang isang tao base lang sa itsura niya. Ang point ko ay dapat may tamang medical assessment at dokumentasyon, hindi dahil may koneksyon ka sa empleyado ay mas madali ka nang makakakuha ng PWD ID.

Nakakalungkot lang isipin na habang may mga totoong PWD na nahihirapang mag-asikaso ng requirements nila, may mga pagkakataong posibleng nagagamit ang personal connections para malusutan ang proseso.

Noong Mayo 29, 2012, bumoto ang Senado ng 20–3 upang hatulan siyang guilty sa Article II ng impeachment complaint dahil sa hindi ganap na pagdedeklara ng kanyang assets sa SALN. Tinanggal siya sa puwesto bilang Chief Justice. Impeachment conviction iyon, hindi criminal conviction. Magkaiba ang constitutional accountability at criminal liability.

AT ITO ANG PINAKAMAHIRAP MONG TAKASAN, DARRYL: SI CORONA MISMO ANG UMAMIN.

Noong Mayo 25, 2012, sa mismong Senate impeachment trial, kinilala ni Corona na mayroon siyang US$2.4 MILLION sa apat na dollar accounts at humigit-kumulang ₱80.7 MILLION sa tatlong peso accounts na hindi niya idineklara sa SALN.

Ang depensa niya? Naniniwala siyang hindi kailangang ideklara ang dollar deposits dahil sa Foreign Currency Deposit Act, samantalang ang peso deposits ay may halong pera ng kanyang pamilya. Pero hindi tinanggap ng mayorya ng Senado ang mga paliwanag na iyon.

Linawin natin: Hindi pag-amin sa pagnanakaw ang pag-amin sa hindi pagdedeklara ng deposito. Pero ang mismong pag-amin niya ang naging mahalagang batayan ng impeachment conviction.

Ikatlo, ang ibinasura ng Sandiganbayan noong 2022 ay HIWALAY NA CIVIL FORFEITURE CASE tungkol sa umano'y unexplained wealth. Tinanggap ng korte ang ebidensya ng pamilya Corona na mayroon silang sapat na pinagkukunan ng pondo upang maipaliwanag ang mga kuwestiyonadong ari-arian.

Pero basahin mong mabuti: KINILALA RIN NG SANDIGANBAYAN NA MAY MGA ASSET NA HINDI NAIDEKLARA SA SALN. Ang hindi napatunayan sa civil forfeiture case ay ang pagiging unexplained wealth ng mga iyon.

Ibig sabihin, puwedeng may lehitimong pinagmulan ang pera ngunit hindi pa rin ito wastong naideklara sa SALN. Magkaibang legal na tanong iyon. At ang desisyon noong 2022 ay hindi nagbaligtad sa impeachment verdict noong 2012.

Hindi lahat ng dismissal ay acquittal. Hindi lahat ng acquittal ay exoneration sa lahat ng posibleng pananagutan. At hindi lahat ng legal na pera ay awtomatikong wastong naideklara.

Ikaapat, tungkol kay Heidi Mendoza: Bilang COA commissioner, nagpaliwanag siya ng pagsusuri sa mga transaksyong nakapaloob sa AMLC records. Ang malalaking halagang binanggit sa mga transaksyon ay cumulative inflows at outflows, hindi awtomatikong aktuwal na perang hawak ni Corona sa isang pagkakataon.

HINDI SI HEIDI ANG GUMAWA NG AMLC RECORDS. At noong Hunyo 2012, kinumpirma mismo ng AMLC executive director na tunay na nagmula sa kanilang ahensya ang report na ibinigay sa Ombudsman.

Kung sinasabi mong nag-perjury si Heidi, aling eksaktong pahayag niya sa ilalim ng panunumpa ang sinadya niyang pasinungalingan? Ano ang ebidensya? Nasaan ang judicial finding na nagpatunay ng paratang mo?

Hindi sapat ang malakas na boses para maging ebidensya. Hindi rin napapalitan ng mura ang burden of proof.

At ang pinakainteresante? SI JINGGOY ESTRADA, NA HAYAGAN MONG SINUPORTAHAN, AY ISA SA 20 SENADOR NA BUMOTONG GUILTY KAY CORONA.

Oo, Darryl. Kasama si Jinggoy sa mga humatol kay Corona. At sa sarili niyang paliwanag pagkatapos ng impeachment, binanggit din niya ang hindi pagdedeklara ni Corona ng kanyang assets sa SALN.

Bakit si Heidi lang ang pinupuntirya mo? Bakit hindi mo rin kuwestiyunin ang senador na personal na bumoto para sa conviction? Selective outrage ba ang bagong legal doctrine?

Kaya bago mo kuwestiyunin ang konsensya ni Heidi, siguraduhin mong tama muna ang ipinapakalat mong impormasyon.

Ang malayang pagpapahayag ay hindi exemption sa factual accountability. At hindi nagiging historical fact ang maling interpretasyon dahil lang sinabi nang may pagmumura, kumpiyansa, at diumano'y 143 IQ.

May testimonya si Corona. May opisyal na impeachment verdict. May hiwalay na criminal dismissals. May hiwalay na civil forfeiture judgment. Lahat may kani-kaniyang legal na kahulugan.

Hindi mo puwedeng paghalu-haluin ang mga iyon para gumawa ng kuwentong mas pabor sa propaganda mo.

🇰🇷🇵🇭 | The Philippine Air Force participated in an international meeting with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), Hanwha Aerospace and LIG D&A in Sacheon Gyeongsangnam-do, from October 21 to 23. Korea Aerospace Industries presented "FA-50 Sniper Targeting Pod Integration", a best-practice example of performance upgrades to FA-50 aircraft of the ROKAF and member countries like the Philippines (the additional 12 new FA-50 Block-70 fighter jets and FA-50 Systems Upgrade for the existing FA-50s), with proposal to expand exports to the Philippines.

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and the Republic of Korea Air Force announced on October 22 that they held plenary meetings of the Korean Aircraft International Technical Cooperation Group (K-TCG) and the Safety Management Group (SMG) in Sacheon, Gyeongsangnam-do, from October 21 to 23.

The international meetings of the K-TCG and SMG, organized by the Air Force with support from KAI, are regarded as helping to develop cooperation between the Air Force and countries operating Korean aircraft, strengthen confidence in those aircraft, and expand exports.

Song Ho-cheol, KAI executive vice president and head of the Production Operations Division, said, "This meeting is a valuable opportunity to share operational experience, improvement cases, and challenges with countries that operate Korean aircraft. By presenting performance upgrade cases and strengthening cooperation, we can improve confidence in Korean aircraft and create opportunities to expand export markets in the future."

Is it just me or the economy is so bad right now na gusto ko na lang gumastos nang gumastos? Our government is so corrupt to the core, I just know that the value of my saved money will be less in the future. Look at fast food now, before, I have never ordered the most expensive option regardless if I crave it because I kept thinking of just puting it in savings. Now, I just keep spending the hell out of my money, thinking it's now-or-never.

I know I should just invest it on whatever but at what point in my life I could actually reap the fruits of my labor when everything now is so uncertain, especially with the AI thing replacing us. The price of owning a home is now more impossible than ever, and that's the only thing I have ever wanted -- it feels pointless to even save.

When I buy something, I can feel and consume the tangible value of my money. I get to own my money, in the present. I know that I should look it into the perspective that I am stealing from my future self, but the inflation is already stealing it from me -- why not spend it now? Hayst... idk what I am saying, I am just so tired of working and trying to figure life, while some government officials and nepo babies are unaffected by inflation.
