Righteous : Game Core memory, training in the snow with Lann.

I got like 500 hours in this game. 300 on my Angel with no crusader mode, and 300 on my Demon with crusader mode enabled. Never once made it past act 3. I will 100% start a third character eventually, hopefully I'll finish the game first.

Righteous : Builds Inciter Skald + shared Dispelling Attacks + Destructive Dispel

• Upvotes

Does anyone know Destructive Dispel works with Dispelling Attacks from an Inciter Skald's shared rage powers? As far as I'm aware Dispelling Attacks uses the Inciter's caster level rather than the attacker's, so if they had Destructive Dispel would this apply to the whole party's attacks? I figure if another character has Destructive Dispel that won't matter when it hits with a Dispelling Attack enabled by Inciter's Rage, but would like to double check.

Have been considering an abjuration + necromancy lich build with an Inciter merc, so I'm curious how this would interact.

Righteous : Game Did Owlcat mess the experience gained for disarming the Grey Garrison trap?

• Upvotes

I've started a new game, and am sticking pretty hard to the "only skill user receives experience" tactic/exploit.

I intentionally left the Thieflings behind and buffed Trickery on my main in order to capitalize on the massive 5000+ experience you get for disarming that big trap in the Grey Garrison basement.

Only here I am, and the experience is being shared with my party no matter what I do?

I've tried toggling the settings, moving the rest of my party away, restarting the game. I'm still getting XP only to a single character on other skill checks, but just this one everyone is getting 960.

Google's AI is telling my there is some hard-coded engine limitation forcing that experience to be shared, but I suspect as usual it doesn't know what it's talking about. It can't give me any information or sources of where it got that from. Plenty of people saying how they disabled the trap and got 5600 experience for it though.

I'm just wondering if a recent patch changed its behaviour? I'm playing the game of the year edition on steam.

Ive wanted this game for a while, but the text size looks really small, I heard there’s a slider does make that big of a difference

Righteous : Game People mainly talk about Act III, but I feel like Act IV also has a substantial amount of things to do

Hello, I am a first time player, currently in Act IV. Please no spoilers!

Most people only talk about Act III, but to me it feels like Act IV also has a substantial amount of things to do, or am I incorrect? I want to talk to Sosiel's brother so I fight in the arena. Turns out I have to higher succubi for a champion. I go over to Chivarro's and she tells me to go to a place in the Upper City while also giving me a quest to help her subordinates in the Lower City. Camellia, my love, meanwhile wants to do something in the brothel. Meanwhile I randomly encounter an aasimar with a secret. And so forth and so forth. Like it's also kind of difficult to keep track of everything.

What do you think? Am I wrong?

Righteous : Game Question about damage modifier

Post image

I was curious as to what the -10 [Adaption - Physical Damage] means and where the modifier originated. I skimmed around online and couldn’t find anything specific, although I may just be silly

Edit- yeah I’m just silly, it’s my glasses lmao. I’ll check my equipment first next time. Thank you!

Righteous : Game Lich caster build uncertainty

I honestly struggle with caster ideas for a lich. Like I'm tempted to do a scroll savant and then just have my character solo everything eventually. But then with time manipulator scroll savant isn't as useful. I'm tempted to go spell master for the "learn every arcane spell" archmage roleplay. There's even shadowcaster that can already tie in with the dhampir flavor dialogue about being "half undead" with Zacharius by researching shadows to further your undead status and then finding the wand.

What are some of your ideas about this? Scroll savant with all the metamagic scribed scrolls could be fun.

Righteous : Game Just bought WotR, but I'm terribly indecisive when it comes to picking a starting class, not to speak of stats. Any newbie tips to simplify that decision process?

Also open to mods, if there's anything helpful.

Righteous : Builds Wizard and magus dual classe build?

I'm going to use a mod to unlock Legendary Path, so I wanted a complete build for better synergy between both classes, so that it feels like they support each other.

Righteous : Game Just got ROTR, how effective does my build need to be?

I’m used to the system and played Kingmaker, and I’m just wondering how difficult it will be if I do a non minmaxed build, like a Draconic sorcerer with Dragon Disciple prestige class to do half caster half melee.

Looks so goofy I just cannot take my character serious dressing like a clown. So many races and classes but they fell so flat on portraits and customisation...

Righteous : Builds Two handed flame oracle build

Playing righteous and i wanna make a 2h flame and battle oracle build. I know that I might be stretching myself a bit thin here cause I wanna be competent in both melee and fire spells but its on normal difficulty so I should be fine. Im thinking of going for the flame mystery first then getting battle mystery from the mythic paths. Any advice for feats and stuff?

Righteous : Game Best Lich spells?

As the post title suggests, things have been going relatively well so far using Exanguinate, Feast of Blood, and Bone Explosion, but I feel like I’m not getting the most out of the Merged Spellbook. Could someone tell me what the best options are? I’m playing a Seeker Sorcerer.

Righteous : Game Will the city stay full of undead if i change my path to golden dragon?

Finished my lich playthrough and decided to reload the save right before choosing my final path to walk the path of good this time.

But i think roleplay wise, choosing the golden dragon line when retaking drezen doesn't fit well.

I like the feeling that in front of iomenade and my friends i decided to abandon death and suddenly be reborn as a golden dragon

BUT when i did that, to my surprise, the city is still full of ghosts AND dragons flying over the city. Its like i mixed the paths

Will the city stay like this forever or will it change back?

Should i just reload and select the golden dragon choice?

Righteous : Game Losing the act 4 crystal?

I just did the Baph fight in act 4 and hit him with a midnight bolt, but Nocticula came in, offered me her gift (which I rejected) and took the crystal with her when she teleported away. I didn't see any option to take it for myself.

I'm going for the secret ending so I'd very much like it back! What did I do wrong so I can fix it on a reload?

Angel path, if that matters!

ETA: Resolved! I got the missed conversational trigger and snagged the crystal. Thanks, y'all!

Coup the grace doesn't work on them, they're immune to electricity, and I don't have any adamantine weapons. I also can't get out of the dungeon, am I just fucked?

Righteous : Builds How to deal with high enemy AC on brutal at low levels?

I get that brutal and unfair are as the name imply, brutal and unfair, but how does someone can deal with enemies with an average of 30 AC and infinite combats with your party and the enemy party missing every hit.

I like the challange but is really boring having to wait like 5 minutes every combat, and is not a boss combat but a common encounter
