Righteous : Fluff I can't be the only one who absolutely hates this default hat right? Like I love wizard but who at Owlcat thought this looked good?
And yes I know you can hide it, but still....

Righteous : Builds What’s the best build for the Demon Path currently?
I know that the Kalavakus aspect was tweaked in more recent versions, making options like the Wolf Shifter or the Deadly Earth Kineticist much less OP than they used to be, not bad, mind you, but they no longer break the game so easily. So, I wanted to find out what the best options are currently.

Righteous : Game Leper's Smile/Thinking about Abandoning My Unfair Run
I've been playing a lot of Kingmaker, partly I think because I was dreading going back to unfair WOTR. I have the gear specifically for swarms, I just can't tank enough on either Ulbrig or Lann. I suppose I can go back to a previous save and try to have enough summons or whatever, but honestly I think I'd rather just not bother. At this point, it's not fun.

Righteous : Game As a Kineticist, can I wield all (I believe 4) elements?
Hey, I’ve been thinking about trying out a Kineticist, but I have a few concerns. Is it possible to gain access to every element? I ask because I don’t like being limited to just one option (which is also why I’m so fond of spellcasters)—hence the question.
Thanks in advance for any answers.

Righteous : Builds Rageshaper Shifter builds
Hi all
I am considering a rage shaper in my next party (a fully respecced wendiag most likely). Build idea/thoughts are welcome - though i want to keep jer pure. it is okay that there are stronger classes
it will be an azata run.
i have a few specific questions as well
- will raging vitality work with the rage shaper?
- how will enlarge and legendary proportions work with the size increases from rage?
- are the slam attacks considered unarmed strikes, natural attacks, or both (with shifter claws)
- depending on answer to 3, would alternative monk styles (dragon/pummeling) eork?
thanks in advance!

Righteous : Game New player, relatively new to CRPGs, this one is a lot of fun!
I'm a relative newcomer to CRPG's. In the past played maybe 30 or so hours of Divinity: Original Sin 2, and dabbled briefly in Baldurs Gate 1, but other than that I'm pretty green on the genre.
I bought WOTR on sale a few months ago for like $5 because why the heck not? I had read a lot about how complex the system was, and how difficult it might be, but last week decided to try it anyway. I looked up a few paladin guides and kind of breezed through the character creation without worrying too much about details. I am playing on Normal difficulty.
This game is super fun so far! I am very early in the game (just finished clearing out the market square in Kenabres). I was completely baffled by the real-time-with-pause combat at first (I remember struggling with this in Baldur's Gate) and the fights made very little sense. I looked up a video on basic combat tips, switched to turn-based, and that has helped IMMENSELY in understanding how the combat works. I have no experience playing tabletop RPGs, so I'm kinda learning from the ground up.
Normal difficulty seems to be a great starting difficulty so far. Most of the battles are pretty easy, but there have been several challenging moment here and there where I have to focus and figure out a strategy, and learn from the result. For example, there's a necromancer in the market that inflicted blind and scared on my characters. Lesson: equipment/buffing my saving throws can help avoid these statuses! Also, Ember ran out of spell uses and was almost useless. Lesson: I should have rested!
Also the classic high fantasy setting is exactly what I want in a game like this, and the dialogue and roleplaying aspects have been a ton of fun. I'm still working on taking my time and reading everything (this genre has far more reading than any other, it seems!), but so far the lore in this game has been compelling and makes me want to slow down and learn about the world and people.
Anyways, it's still mega early but I'm loving the game so far. Fellow newbies who may be reading this, fear not! It seems complex, but also seems very learnable. The Normal setting gives me a lot of margin of error, while still teaching me lessons naturally. Also the tutorial window popups help a TON, lol.
Loving it and can't wait to keep exploring!

Righteous : Game Forgotten Secrets puzzle not triggering?
I'm in act 5, I've gotten and completed the Forgotten Secrets puzzle before without trouble (I put ALL the slabs in order, double checked, the secret door opened and I got the puzzle checked as complete) but for whatever reason this time (and in a few other saves) when I go to complete Forgotten Secrets, it just, doesn't trigger? I'm confident I got all the slabs in the right places (ngl I just cheat with a picture of the solution) and it still doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong? I genuinely don't know what it could be T-T

Righteous : Bug Drezen Return To Menu Bug
Hi there. I'm trying to complete the siege of Drezen but I am struggling with a bug that is making it so that every time I try to enter the Drezen Citadel, it kicks me out to the main screen. If I reload the autosave from entering or press continue, the game does the same. I had a similar problem with the Drezen barracks and had that problem on other playthroughs, but this is a first for the latter part of the quest. I was wondering if there is a known solution to this bug, as I've tried to look but failed to find one?
Thank you for your time.

Righteous : Game WOTR
How does wrath of the righteous PlayStation 4 version run?
I have a PS5 and I want to buy the PS4 disc. Can you play it? Does it crash a lot etc. etc.
I just bought Warhammer 40k Rouge Trader and that works well is WOTR good as well?

Kingmaker : Builds How much time will I get to enjoy a dragonkind build?
So I have yet to beat kingmaker. My first playthrough is right at the beginning of act 5 with a duelist/aldori defender build. I was having fun but I just got the itch to finally create a dragon build. I am doing a level 1 scaled fist into sorcerer until level 16 then rounding it out with dragon disciple to 20. My worry is compared to WOTR I might not even get to level 20 and I believe I get dragonkind 1 at lvl 13 and dragon kind 2 at lvl 15, DK3 at level 18. Levels 13 to 15 I have heard are very late into the game and some people aren't even 20 when they beat the game. I want to have as much time as possible to play as a dragon. So my question is realistically how early can I achieve these levels and how much game will I have left?

Righteous : Console Two handed fighter slow and squishy without long weapons?
RTWP or turn based I tend to move slower by order and since I want to use a GS and it seems like the mobs actively target my character I hit hard but seem to take the most punishment and lose the most health or often times the only person who got hit.
Regardless of armor type seem to have to deal with a drawback of being too slow to engage or being too squishy to sustain. Any advice?

Righteous: Fanart Arueshalae & Tea by MIONART
Amazing artist: htt ps://v k.ru/mion_art (remove the spaces), commissioned by me.
Another art I commissioned all the way back in 2022. In fact, I think it was my third or fourth commission ever.
So, it’s just Arueshalae and a cup of tea, nothing else. Still very beautiful though.

Righteous : Game Man this game is so frustrating
Trying to do Swarm-That-Walks with my limited time, didn't realize you had to tell Queen Galfrey not to join the camp way back at the start of Act 2 in order to unlock that path.
Why? Why would any designer think this is a good idea?
SMH. Do I want to spend another 15 hours or whatever redoing this from Level 1? Definitely not.
Is there anything else I can do? Just going to quit otherwise lol.
Edit: My goodness, looks like I *also* missed the Lich path. Lol. What a joke! What a joke.

Righteous: Fanart Owlcatober participation (day 3-4)
Well well, I am late, but they also say that a wizard can’t be late, so here’s a certain someone who just became a sacrifice (second prompt for the Owlcatober).
And yeah perhaps Camellia grows on me :3
Ooooh, so bad that you can’t post videos here, so please, if you want to see the animation in a better quality… Here's a tumblr post.
I couldn’t make the gif work decently and also a shame that the sound is missing.

Righteous : Game Legend Question Spoiler
So I know in-game you can't ascend like other paths but could legend theoretically eventually ascend while maintaining their power increase from level 40 making them able to get a head start in power compared to some of the other mortal to deities? I'm not a tabletop guy and know the lore loosely but I was curious about this after looking into some of the lore.
