I need some guidance on how to fix/salvage my Winter Orb Occultist on a very tight budget.

I originally tried to copy top builds from poe.ninja, but as you can guess... I ran completely out of Divines before completing it. In a desperate attempt to find a cheaper alternative that could actually work, I stumbled upon Ronnarray's YouTube guide. However, looking closer, his video feels a bit outdated (he discusses whether Pact of Beidat works, whereas ninja uses Pact of Lycia).

Right now, I'm stuck in limbo:

• My gems are basically the ones I finished the acts/campaign with (I know almost all of them need to be replaced).
• My gear is a mess because I tried to pivot halfway.
• I only have 2 Divines left.

I love Shadow (playing a smartass is fun) and I would love to make an actual Hollow Palm build - not just levelling, but all the way. Problem is I don't think he's made for HP - Assassin cranks crit chance, but unarmed attacks don't crit unless I equip Rigwald's Curse, and Trickster offers mostly utility.

Can someone recommend a good Hollow Palm build for Shadow?

When I think of end game builds, I usually think of a stacking build, be it attributes, charges, herald, w/e. This is also quite simple to search on ninja since you can just sort it by the highest value for each thing you're after. I want to know what is a build or multiple builds that are almost a staple when it comes to end game activities, that have been played for either a while or were recently discovered.

The EHP is generally fine for me, but the damage feels a bit low. I’d like to hear your thoughts on potential ways to improve it. I’m thinking of speccing into this build in 3.30, but I’m not sure whether leveling through PConcOB is the only option. Thanks.

I am wrapping up this league so I just wanted to show a couple of my homebrews. I have this one I just recorded and another on the way. Keep in mind, these are low budget, I'm a dad and can't be a poe slug 24/7 anymore.

The build actually surprised me how effective it was. I have Forbidden Flesh/Flame for Corpse Pact. How it functions is, I press Lightning Conduit > Kitava's Thirst triggers Desecrate > Desecrate shocks enemies and then the Lightning Conduit strikes. It all happens in the same cast (assuming you get the 50% kitava trigger). Obviously this makes the build clunky at the start since it's slow, and you're gambling if your skill goes off. But eventually you ramp up so much cast speed from Corpse Pact that the 50% chance is negligible.

I also stack ailment effect to get monster shocks (I think I am up to 119% shock?), so using Replica Heatshiver nets us 60% of lightning added as cold damage.

I also have Winterweave and reflecting shocks/chills by using Maligaro's Restraint + Coursing Currents.

Overall I think the budget of the character was around 30-40 Div.

Be warned, the clear speed and AoE is huge but as you can see my phys max hit is like nothing. I survive mostly by blasting everything before I can see it which works surprisingly well. The PoB doesn't have corpses consumed checked because that is variable, but assuming max corpses it should put you around 30m DPS. This build CAN be pushed further but again, I have limited time/currency/attention and want to play other homebrews.

A long time casual here, been playing POE since start of open beta but mainly in SSF HC setting so I have never experienced the super endgame.

Now I'm playing a homecooked build in SSF SC and want to push it to Ubers before league ends. Any veteran want to look at my build and see where I can improve?

I'm currently sitting on 10-20M dps and missing Congergate support. Any other upgrade I'm missing?

I want to craft the perfect (by my standards) gear. Which of these mods will give more profit in the long run? Also, I know for sure that rolling '+1 to Level of all Jobs' is worth it, but is it worth rolling '+1 to Level of Deception/Perception/Whatever Jobs' to get a total of +2?

Thinking of trying Luminary instead of Necromancer next league, mainly for the QoL rings and making use of the Rallying Cry merc, but what do you use to grab void stones before farming enough to transition? SRS, Absolution?

I’m assuming the earliest the swap can be done when you have the chest, gravebind, and terminus est?

I got sick back to back and wound up losing momentum for the league. How did Luminary do, overall?

My original idea was to use a Zealotry/Envy Cruel Mistress and Intuitive Link with Spectres to vomit out high-damage Chaos spells. Then I learned Intuitive Link sucks and chaos damage with hits isn't easy/cheap to build. I also got baited by Flame Link starters.

How did Luminary do, overall? Was the micromanagement a pain, or just the initial RNG/trade grind to get your ideal Mercenary? What budget setups actually worked out, and what seemed like it would work but didn't no matter how much currency was thrown at it?

Any suggestions for 3.30 are welcome. I've been playing since Bestiary but I still feel like I don't understand this game adequately.

I don't want to wait for patch notes. I have played 4 leagues, well over 2K hours. I am still bad at this game. Goal - get rich early and snowball it. My current hypothesis is that I should specialize in a build or archetype.

My best league was 3.28 where I followed Ignatius' Shield Crush Jugg. It was easy to gear (get good shield), great defense (jugg), and pretty easy to scale (defined uniques and corruptions). Ignatius' guides are really clear and easy to follow. It was great at delve, but it wasn't great at mapping (performs best standing still). I had a pretty good start in 3.29 with Pconc pathfinder but felt like I hit a wall after 2 voidstones.

What I would really like is a consistently strong league starter that can either transition to endgame or switch ascendancies (with a consistent strong endgame build).

I am open-minded on playstyle, I love walking simulator (RF would rock with single target capability), I like minions (though i find these builds to be more complex), I like melee (prefer speedy with AOE), I like spells and totems too (though I dislike POEGuys disorganized guides). I have always wondered if a "wander" was fun, but I don't really know what that is.

I believe that to facilitate a good league start (and i plan to use the coming weeks to prepare) is something simple that I am not getting stuck during progression. That's what gets me every league.

Any suggestions please?

This is my >100M dps / >100k EHP ele max hit tanky Deadeye. Some of you may remember I posted this project a little over a month ago, and in that time I've made a lot of progress. She has 100% suppression, 100% stun avoid, 100% avoid ele ailments, 100% reduced curse effect, immune to bleed, and immune to CB.

I have the highest phys max hit (by 3x), ele max hit, and chaos max hit of any TS Deadeye on poeninja. I also have the #2 EHP for TS deadeyes (107k to their 109k) but I have nearly 5x higher tornado shot damage than #1.

I'm out of ideas on ways to improve her without swapping in unethical multi-mirror items (stuff like perfect 2.1x reflected helicals). I'm looking for suggestions on how to increase her damage & defenses, ideally without sacrificing the one to boost the other.

Hi, I have a question—I’m still quite new to the game (1 month playing). I’m following a level 100 guide for a "Winter" build, and I’m currently level 94. My passive tree is almost identical, except for 3 points: "Elemental-Caster Mastery" and "Endurance charges." If I account for those 3 points (which would bring me to level 97), my tree would match the guide’s. However, the guide uses an 8-passive cluster jewel and a 12-passive cluster jewel. For the 8-passive one, it uses 5 points (plus 2 for a small cluster jewel), and for the 12-passive one, it uses 11 out of the 12 available points. By my calculations, I have 6 points left to reach level 100. If I try to follow the guide exactly: 3 points would go toward the passives at the bottom; in the 8-passive cluster, I’ve already allocated 3 points, and I’d need 2 more to activate the jewels—that leaves me with only 1 point, which isn't enough to complete the small cluster. Furthermore, I only have 5 points allocated in that 8-passive cluster right now. If I’m not mistaken, I’d actually need another 7–8 points to fully flesh out the 12-passive cluster as shown in the guide. Where is the guide getting those extra points? Or what am I doing wrong? Im in the process of making a pathfinder build for a low-mid budget , I usually play on the topside of the tree and at that level of budget ive found hybrid life es is the best option .

Usually I see pathfinders go full life and that makes sense cause the right side of the tree has limited es + progenisis existing makes it very appealing . However progenisis is severely out of my budget range so my idea is to go hybrid life es with evasion while also using stuff like corrupted soul to get more es combined with sorrow of the divine to basically double my recovery .

this is my first idea and im just wondering if there are any potentially better setups I could be using because I know perma flask sustain pathfinder has can lead to alot of strong setups such as triple ele flask which ive used on a few scion builds .

At this point I am too lazy to craft anymore and deal with all that noise. Does anyone buy builds for divines, not real money, and if so where? Blah blah I get it's not hard to make one. I'd rather someone else do the hard part and I just get the gear to have fun or try a new build.

I'm currently building a CoC poison saboteur. It's a very late-league-off-meta-trying-shit-out kind of build. I was anticipating that since this very niche build uses both critical strikes and poison, it might actually be the first build I've played that could actually use this support gem. Spoiler alert: it's not.

The support isn't competitive for my 6L, despite this being the very niche kind of build that might actually make use of it. Am I missing something? Is there a build that actually uses this support? What is it even for?

In my experience I tend to avoid it as an avoidance layer while it’s potentially better for attacks than block it’s easier to cap block and also spell block exists. Personally I’ve found stacking evasion really hard to do and unrewarding on any none trickster build but I’m wondering if I’m missing something .

I’m trying to build a pathfinder and need to figure out defence , right now I’m leaning towards a phys taken setup and converting all phys to ele while using flask to stack ress but another idea is to stack evasions and if that doesn’t work then I can go block with rumis .

As an avoidance layer it just seems that it needs so much investment while also leaving a massive spell weakness .

So I added Golden Rule once I got the overcap Leech Slayer node, but I'm still instantly dying to my own poison as soon as I swing on the 1st enemy

I've never used Tainted Pact before but I thought it would heal me?

This was a fun, generally low budget build this season - glad lets me get a REALLY high armour shield while still easily block capping, and SST allows me to use arakaali's fang for massive amounts of increased damage and attack speed that is then multiplied by charge stacking with the maven belt.

You can swap to bleed explode for very easy clearing, this set up was for ubers. I also have a rare crafted helm that gives me a bit more survivability.

It's pretty durable, can do most ubers easily, and is pretty hipster. The biggest downside, by far, is that it is basically a full unique build.

I didn't get a ton of time to play this league and I swore off crafting, so it's a very cheap build and I could easily pump another 100d+ into it to improve my damage and survivability.
