Was anyone able to create a build around living lightning? I was wondering how I can estimate their damage since the game doesn't seem to display any information on it

Also, it doesn't have to be a build fully maximizing LL damage, but if they can do some decent damage later on in maps it would be fun already

I was also wondering how could I estimate the added dps on them from going Tactician with Watch How I Do It and see if it's worth it or not. My understanding is that if their base damage is already high, the added damage won't make much of a difference

I made a really good gemling on runes but mana was always an issue. Now i have an infernalist just hit maps in rites league and looking for some ideas. I want to follow kingpinuwu’s infinite comet ward stacker but want to see what works for others. I understand it will be expensive but I like lengthy goals. Plan on playing up to 1.0. Thanks all!

Exploding frogs. Add it into your build. Costs nothing more than a skill gem and its supports, will still scale well enough off your reaping staff. Basically doubled my clear speed and takes nothing away from my big reap hits. I use it before or after every reap.

The main issue I was having with a pure reap build was my clear speed. Having to turn around for an extra reap to clear some stragglers doesn't feel great. With frogs it allows me to never stop moving forward. It also allows me to be in two places at once, like a totem build. Drop frogs on one side of my screen, run to the other side and reap, everything dies. I'm sure there are other skills that could fill the gaps reap leaves but this just works for me. Thematically it looks great with big red circles covering my screen (I opted to use the frogs on vulnerability but i am sure other curses would work). It takes no time to cast at all since reap builds rely a lot on having a decent cast speed.

This is my first actual league start, only played the tail end of .5 so I have a very long way to go knowledge wise. I know my jewels could use a ton of work and there are so many upgrades i'm looking forward to trying out with this build. This build tears through t16 4 tablets city maps in under 5 mins when I am not drunk. I have played grim pillars, varashta, petals monk and a few others. This build can keep up with them. I have invested around 1k divs into this but it really started to feel great after about 200d. Once you get your crit to 90%+ and start leaning into crit bonus it just works. I did run the campaign with this as well, though reap can only be obtained at level 38 i think. I think I will try dropping the boots and switch cast on crit to herald of blood next. Maybe switch out magnified area in my reap to bleed. No Idea!

My main is iceshot and frankly i got tired of the playstyle and having to aim.

Im gonna roll the arc totem and chill but i need some kind of plan on how much div i need to get going.
Id save up and farm on my main before getting into it.

So how much is enough to comfortably do something like t16 rituals?
50, 100, 500, 1000 div?

I don't have any added fire to attack or other similar fire damage that I can see. Maybe I miss something? I also have the ignite charm and when flameblast is not working is still has a 1/1 charge so it must be something else. Does anyone have any idea? Maybe an interaction that I don't know about

As soon as I saw Weapon master in the Mercenary Witch Hunter ascendancy, I thought it looked insane!

For anyone who doesn't know: Weapon Master gives you 100 Weapon set Skill points. (Allowing to you split every skill point into a weapon set skill point)

This means that you can potentially have two completely different skill trees for each weapon set. Which on paper seems like it could be powerful, but I've not seen many builds actually utilize Weapon Master.

Some ideas:

One weapon set for clearing Packs and one weapon set for killing bosses

One set for applying DoT and one set for dealing normal damage or surviving while DoT ticks down

One weapons set that's a normal Merc DPS build and one weapon set that is purely defensive (switch to weapon set two when a boss is about to hit you with an ultimate attack or you get low on health, switch back once out of danger)

Are any of these ideas worth pursuing? Are there better ideas for how to use Weapon Master? Is Weapon Master slept on or am I wasting my time trying to make it work?

Hello! First time playing Disciple of Varashta. I do enjoy cruising around blasting the screen. The challenge of trying to get my chilled ground/fracturing loop to self-propogate as many times as possible is surprisingly engaging compared to just spamming skills. just a fun little minigame.

I'm easily clearing T15, and clearing T16 easily as long as I'm paying attention.

At this point the build is "complete" and it's time to just beat each item... that's where i get lost.

What are the obvious things I should go for here?

• +6 puppet master on the sceptre?
• +2 minion on the helmet?
• better time-lost sapphires?
• a totally different thing i didn't think of?

What can I invest in to get flameblast to do way more, I have a few hundred divs to invest in stuff

I'd love my base damage to hit higher numbers, specifically for uber content and single target. Eyeballing a mageblood with double sulph at 45%. Looking for any tips! I'd love for this super fun build to replace my grim pillars build.

Hi, a casual poe1 player trying poe2 here!
Want to try a new build that wont burden my old pc too much (so no flameblast i think, a rando joined my map once and i start stuttering after he start blasting)

Budget is at least 2k raw divs, more if my things sell well. Priority:

1. Tanky, occasionally i got killed by expedition's laser scorpion
2. Good damage
3. Not too pianoish/spammy, not necessarily no button/1 button but pls no more than 2-3 buttons

Speed is a plus but im fine with slow build since i love chill farming like expedition, i took my time learning things like those verisium runes.

Build i've tried:

• zoo monkey: this build is too good to be true, most likely will be nerfed. Cheap to start, afk playstyle, good damage and tanky
• lich plant: tanky, but felt rough on leaguestart. My noob ass and low currency really struggling, damage felt lackluster

Loved poe2 so far, browsing the infinite atlas and prepping tablets is annoying tho compared the mighty scarabs. Cant wait for 1.0.
Any advice is welcome!

I've been playing Reap Chronomancer. I am, for the most part, happy with the build. However, I decided to try and farm for the GE boons and, oh boy.

I am using simple Irradiated tablets with Waystone drop chance and monster effectivness. I am getting popped all the fuckin time. Not only that farm and performance in GE is atrocious but I am dying like hell.

Here is my character, I am using Morgana's Megalomaniac, which for general mapping I swap out.
I've been trying to avoid Comet altogether and I've been playing with Lightning Warp, Living Bomb, Arc, Bone Cage. I've finally decided to try out Comet and I've been griefing myself? Comet overperfomance by a huge margin it seems.

But, I still get killed very often. I've manage to also get Cool Headed as well.
I thought, 1.6k Life/3.9k Mana/86% MoM/20% Life Recoup/86% Mana Recoup as well as some hefty regen would be enough but I don't feel tanky at all. And I have invested quite a lot.

Rant over. Can you suggest improvements or changes to the build or should I just give up on GE due to the fact that Reap is also pseudo melee?

This is my current build in runes of Aldur.

I am a POE1 veteran, but a POE2 noob, with increasingly limited hours to play. While i would love to develop this build further on my own, i dont think i have the knowledge or time for this at this point and i really need your help here. otherwise i will probably have to consider my build done except for minor upgrades like L21 gems, etc. with the league being dead my options are also limited.

I have about 4 whittling omens and couple of omen of lights stashed away, but thats about it on what i have at this moment to spend, and i cant afford to mess up either.

i just completed Arbiter of Divinity for the first time (but did not get the atlas skill points). i have abyss fully unlocked but have not done any of the other skill trees. i am also lost on the best way forward atlas wise. i really want to complete all the challenges. is playing the game in practically SSF my only option here? any tips or suggestions you can provide will also be very much appreciated.

I'm absolutely in love with the Arc Totem Gemling.

It scratches all my itches and for someone who has wrist problems and plays with a controller one handed, it works so well after a bit of remapping.

IF it gets gutted in 1.0, is there another version of this with another class that'll work similarly?

Heard that strenght stacker storm spear smith of kitava worked pretty well even before living lightning was fixed, so i hope to find something like that, or maybe, just maybe, a lightning spear build if someone found a way for it to work better than storm spear.

Been thinking about somehow getting cast fire on meele hit to work with it, or maybe add raging spirits, but i cant come up with anyhing, so i welcome suggestioms of additional funny tech. (Suggestions of something that does not make it so that nothing is visible on screen, i have weak eyes, please)

Need some feedback on my current build, clearing mobs seem sub optimal but not lacking clearing, bosses go down with a bit of effort. I die quickly, 1-2 shots when hit by stronger enemies/bosses.

Can I get some critique please?
