Haunting Feeling scared on my life !! what could it be ?

• Upvotes

Hey everyone, I'm genuinely scared right now and looking for some advice or anyone who's experienced something similar.

It's around 3 AM, and I'm sleeping in a room next to my brother and sister-in-law. They have a baby who's less than a year old.

A little while ago, I started hearing what sounded like their baby laughing and my sister-in-law talking. The sounds seemed real enough that I checked on them, but they were all asleep.

Here's the strange part: I only seem to hear these sounds when the fan is running. When I switch the fan off, everything goes completely silent.

I'm alone in my room right now, and my mind is going to some pretty scary explanations. I've heard stories about things mimicking human voices, and I'm honestly freaking myself out wondering if something like that could be happening.

I'm not claiming this is paranormal. I genuinely want to understand what might be causing it.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could the fan be creating sounds that resemble voices, or is there another explanation? I'd really appreciate some honest replies, especially from people who've experienced this themselves.

I'm looking for some reassurance and rational explanations because I'm pretty scared right now.

Orbs ghost orb caught irl

I don't have an explanation, but the camera caught this as movement, as you can see in the tags, it is caught as movement, but without a person icon just a movement icon. (Never had a situation like this before)

The orb falls downward, then immediately floats upward in an unusual way, which cannot be explained by wind, bc if it was wind, we won't even see an orb bc it will make it move faster. That being said, all the windows are doors in the area are closed and it was a secluded place, besides that, our area is surrounded by walls on every side which doesn't allow wind to pass through. It was also not a bug because as you can see on the video it was a very perfectly circular orb that falls then moves in an irregular manner that did not resemble typical drifting. (You can see the orb's perfectly circular translucent form when you pause it at the right time.)

The only light source in this video is the other camera's light reflecting on our marble floors, but that still doesn't explain the orb because now that I look at it and viewing other recordings, the room is just empty without movement. I viewed other days and other times it recorded movements, and this is the only time that it has captured this specific scenario. My thing is, after going home at around 1am, 2 hours after the recording was what I felt after going inside the room, it felt very unsettling and that's why I checked the CCTV footage, where I saw this.

I checked other sources saying it that temperature changes can create subtle convection that is completely invisible to us, but the temperature today in my area didn't change much from morning to evening, considering that the sun sets at around 5:45PM, and this video was taken 11:55 PM, there would have been more than 6 hours for the heat in the surrounding area to settle. It was 89 F in the afternoon, and 82 F in the evening.

The only thing that makes me believe this isn't "that" orb, is the humidity in my country, during the time of recording, it was 75% humid because it was nighttime.

If someone has a more valid explanation, theory, dissection of the video or just anything to say or advice, please do leave a comment. I'd love to hear what others think.

Encounter I spoke to a guy who didn’t exist

• Upvotes

Hey Reddit, so this happened to me some years ago when I was in middle school, but I still think about it today, because it’s really weird.

So I (16F now, then I think 12) was waiting at my bus stop in the morning and my bus was late. I saw an older man looking to be around 60-70 year old walking his dogs, which were two corgis. This is important for later. He was walking down the sidewalk I was at, and one of the dogs stopped by me and started sniffing my leg, probably since I had a piece of gum in my pocket. We make small talk, talking about the cold ass weather and his dogs, and he let me pet them too. He was very nice, and after a couple minutes he went on his way, saying bye and to have a good day at school(not weird that he said that because I had my backpack on). I noticed that he turned to walk down where my coldesac where I lived, and then my bus arrived.

I got on and when we drove by, passing my coldesac, the man had disappeared. I didnt think much of it of course, as I was a 12 year old with a short attention span and severe ADHD(now diagnosed but then not), so I went along with my day and totally forgot about it. Then I went home after school and my mom asked me how my day was. I told her about school, and then remembered the old man and told her about him and his dogs. My mom then said something along the lines of “thats weird, I didn‘t see anyone walking their dogs down here“. I was a little weirded out. I asked her if she was sure, and she said yeah. For background, she sometimes works from home, and her home office has big windows that show the coldesac, so it was really weird that she didn‘t see him. What was also weird was that I had never seen him before that day. Ive hung out outside with my younger brother and his neighborhood friends, and all of my neighbors have big dogs, usually golden retrievers or yellow labs, never any small dogs.

The next day my bus was late again, and again I saw the man walking down the same sidewalk with his two corgis. He saw me and said hi again, asking how my day was going, saying that the dogs missed me and stuff. I talked to him too, and then decided to ask him something. I asked, “I saw you walking down that coldesac over there. Do you usually walk your dogs down that way, or do you like to try a new path every time?”. He replied, “yeah, I always walk the two fellas down and around there. They never wanna go anywhere else haha!”.

I felt confused and a little scared now. Now I was 12 and a little stupid, so I said, “huh, that’s weird, I’ve never seen you down there when I play with my friends on the weekends“. I didn’t wanna say that I lived there of course, just in case he was dangerous. I was stupid, but not that stupid lol. His friendly smile then suddenly dropped, and he became very serious. It scared me. He then talked in a much lower voice, saying “Bye Aria(not my real name, but he did use my real name when saying this), have a good day”, and then left down the same way towards the coldesac. I had never told him my name.

I was spooked and just went on the bus that just arrived then like 5 seconds after, and texted my mom asking her to look outside and see if she sees him, because I didnt get a chance to look since I was a little scared to. She looked outside, but she didn’t see anyone at all. After that day, I haven’t seen him ever again, except for one time a couple days after that day where I thought I saw him walking outside during the night, but when I looked again he looked to be much taller, like eerily tall, but it was the same exact dogs from before. After that, I’ve seen him again. I’m no schizophrenic, I didn’t have a gas leak in my house at the time, and there was no carbon monoxide poisoning in my house at all either. It was just a very creepy experience, and sometimes I still wonder if I’ll ever see him again, but then again, I‘m a bit glad to have not.

I’m especially interested in experiences where there were actual consequences afterward, rather than just something creepy happening once.

Experience Was it ball lightning or some other object?

This happened a long time ago, when I was about 13 or 14 years old. It was a sunny day, around 5:00 PM, and a friend and I were playing near an unfinished building—or rather, just its foundation—not far from my home.

While my friend was picking apples from a tree, I was watching the road; it was a quiet, slightly hilly area where cars rarely passed. Suddenly, I saw something strange: a white object—completely white—appeared on the horizon.

It was moving at a steady speed of about 40–50 km/h (25–30 mph), with no visible change in its pace. In terms of shape, it was a fairly flattened circle. It’s hard to estimate the exact size, but I’d guess it was about a meter long and 50 centimeters (roughly 20 inches) high. I tried to get my friend to look, but he couldn't see it because the tree was in his way.

Years later, I decided to check if it might have been ball lightning, so I looked up the weather records for that time. I don’t recall exactly how I determined the precise date, but the records showed there was no rain in the area that day. Is it even possible to see ball lightning during clear weather? Or could it have been something else?

Experience My family always live in a haunted house.

So let me start out by saying this has been going on for decades so I'm sorry this is going to a long post. My grandmother told us stories when I was young about her experiences. Apparently one day her father came home pale and shaken. When asked what had him so scared he replied that he had seen the Devil. He wouldn't speak of it after that day.

Moving on to my grandmother. She said when her and my grandfather moved into their first home that strange things happened. Once she saw something not human standing at the end of her bed. It just stared and then walked into the bathroom. She of course being the fearless woman she was followed it but found nothing. My grandparents and family that visited all had stories about strange things that happened there. Later they found out that two brothers in the home had gotten into a confrontation and killed each other. They moved out. Even a pastor moved in afterwards and only stayed for 3 months. Eventually it was torn down.

Many years later I was about 5 or 6 years old and was staying with them for the weekend. I was staying in a room with my sister who was 8 years older than myself. I woke up in the middle of the night and was going to the kitchen to get a drink. As I was passing through the living area I saw something in the shadows that scared the hell out of me. I ran back to the room and locked the door because of course that was going to stop it. I jumped into bed and heard something hitting the door. I was young and my mom always told me to pray in the name of Jesus and I would be safe. So I did. At this point my sister woke up from the sound and sleepily said it was probably the cat. Yeah okay maybe if the cat was throwing himself against the door. That was my first experience.

Basically in all the homes we have lived in has had something. Once there was a demon (Pastor's words, not mine) in my childhood home. I saw a doppelganger of my dad. My grandparents moved back to WNC and I was living with them. We experienced electrical issues, heard footsteps in the attic, chains rustling also in the attic. We saw shadow figures etc.

Now I'm 46 with children of my own. We moved often and every single place we lived seemed to be haunted. My youngest daughter, my middle child, is autistic. She has always noticed things and known things she shouldn't have. She would tell us about the spirits she saw and talk to people that she had never met before about their deceased loved ones. Most of this was when she was younger. Now she's 22 and says she tries to cut it off as much as possible.

The point is that we just can't seem to escape this. I married my second husband and moved in with him. And of course now thing are happening here. So does anyone know if something is following us or are we just "lucky" to always live in a haunted house?

Experience Heard someone or something crying near me at night (4 AM)! What it could be?

So, I was in sleeping in hospital and about 4 AM I woke up hearing someone crying, whinging near me... very clearly, not a hallucination. But when I opened my eyes I didn't see anyone near... I got scared and IT stopped crying instantly. I got even more terrified. Like it noticed me accidently caught him crying.

What it could it be honestly? I am not making it up. I usually don't tell it to other people, cause I think they will think I am making the things up and start laughing at me.

Experience I heard whistling behind me when everyone was asleep

I just saw this subreddit and wanted to just say something I experienced when I was like 12 (21 now) I was sitting in the the living room watching YouTube at night whenever everyone else was asleep or in their room and I was hearing whistling right behind me but it kept like going from one ear to the other (the chair I was sitting in was pushed back against the wall) I remember I had paused whatever I was watching and the sound like continued (but I remember the sound lasting for like 30 second)

Experience Bad luck or something else?

Let me start by saying I’m a skeptic, in the truest sense of the word. I believe that paranormal things may exist, but that there is a more logical explanation for the vast majority of phenomena.

I also accept that there are more logical explanations for what I’m about to describe. I simply cannot shake the feeling that this was something else.

I have always been a highly attentive driver. In over a decade of driving, I had one accident for which I was at fault: a very mild fender bender (not even that, really) after sliding at 5mph for an absurdly long time on a sheet of melting ice. No other accidents, no tickets.

I moved to a new state a few years ago. Shit started getting weird. It’s a much busier place, more traffic, so it’s not a surprise that things changed, it was how they changed. It started small. First, some debris on the freeway lodged itself in the undercarriage of my car. Four months later, someone rear-ended me in a parking lot. Four months later, someone slammed into the back of my car while I was sitting at a red light, and then drove off. Four months after that, someone’s spare tire came off their car in front of me on the freeway and I hit it. And on and on it went.

Every four months, almost to the day, each accident worse than the last. Multiple cars totaled, surgery, rehabilitation. Ruled not at fault in every single accident.

I stopped driving for almost two years, because I knew the next accident would kill me.

I’ve been back behind the wheel for about a year now, and everything is fine. I know it is not the logical explanation, but I cannot shake the feeling that something had attached itself to me. I stopped feeding it, so it left.

Car demons? Ridiculous, I know. It was probably just a run of bad luck. But can we call it coincidence when it happens in a clear pattern? What else explains it? It would make perfect sense if I were at fault for even some of these accidents, but the timing and the circumstances are beyond anything I can make any kind of sense of. I grew up watching the Final Destination series and it honestly felt like I had become a main character in those films, it was just specifically car destiny that was out to get me.

Does anyone have similar experiences? What’s your take on what happened to you?

Experience Green ball of Fire over Lake Powell

During my childhood (early 2000's) my dad's side of the family would take an annual summer trip to Lake Powell. We would rent a house boat, go skiing and cliff jumping, roast marshmallows and play card games, ect. It was something I looked forward to every year.

While most of these trips are vague in my memory, there's one moment that I can remember vividly to this day.

One year my parents let my older brother and I sleep on the deck of the house boat. We had an awesome view of the clear starry sky surrounded by the red rock cliffs. As we laid in our sleeping bags, a bright green ball of light slowly descended from the sky before moving behind some cliffs out of view.

It was large, and mostly round, though the borders were undefined and radiated fluidly, almost pulsing with what looked like slow moving green flames? The best way I can describe it is as a big green ball of fire that seems to be descending/landing slowly. It wasn't a comet or shooting star. I've looked for some kind of natural phenomenon that resembles it, but nothing comes close.

For years I summed this up to being a vivid dream, and left it at that. However, recently I brought it up to my older brother and he surprised me by saying he has the same memory. Before explaining my own memory in detail, I asked him to describe the ball to me and he said the same thing I remember seeing. A big, slow moving ball of pulsing green fire. This seriously shocked me and gave me instant goosebumps.

I now feel confident that this memory was not just a dream, but I obviously have no explanation for what it was. I've never been a big UFO or Alien conspiracy girl, but considering the history of the area I feel that there's a possibility I saw something supernatural.

I wonder if any of you have had similar experiences, or even ideas of what I might have seen?

Question The conjuring movie!

This isn’t paranormal I don’t think, but just a personal experience that has happened to me and was wondering if this happened to anyone else. I decided to watch all of the conjuring franchise in order out of boredom and into movie 3 or 4 I felt very weird energy and somewhat of a presence in the room. It stopped when I wasn’t watching the movies but then happened again whenever I’d watch the movies to where I would acctually have goosebumps and not finish the franchise. I haven’t watched any of them movies since. Is this just the placebo effect or has somebody experienced this before?

Debunk This Paranormal or stupid kids?

My family lived at our old home for most of my childhood and every one of my siblings had more than one experience causing us to believe in the paranormal. I was young but my sister is 4 years older and my brother is about 5-6 years older so I was the only one elementary school age. I had nightmares almost the entire time I lived there that ceased as soon as we moved out and nothing has happened to us in our new house (which was built and only lived in by only us and our neighbors) I have about 3 prominent experiences: The first one was watching a drawer in the bathroom slam with extreme force, the second was “dreaming” of my mothers favorite robe seeming to walk down the hall with nothing in it and when I woke I remember my sister asking me how my moms robe got in her room, and the third was a nail file seeming to fling into the air and across the room at my head during a fight with my sister. My sister experienced things such as loud banging above her while home alone and once saw her door open and widen with nothing there before slammimg shut. My brother wont tell me much of what he experienced but said that he once awoke to a shadow figure standing at the end of his bed. There was also a time where me and my sister were home alone with her friend and we heard banging downstairs sort of like stomping or cabinets being slammed while our dogs barked at the stairs. Being home alone we were nervous and her friend grabbed a weapon and walked downstairs thinking it might be an intruder but when we got downstairs no one was there. My parents think we’re crazy but my mom is also religious and believes we invited demons into our home through youtube videos and scary movies😂 I wonder sometimes were these real experiences or could they be explained by paranoid imaginative kids and nightmares?

Experience I think The Prison I Work At Is Haunted based on 3 experiences

So strange things have been happening at work. I’m a corrections officer and lately we had some wild things happen.

  1. I was working as the kitchen officer. Our pantry is in the basement, and I had to go down there with an inmate to pull some stuff up for lunch. To get to the basement, there’s a heavy door at the top of the stairs. So I opened it and it doesn’t move or budge easily when it’s widely open. You have to deliberately move it it’s heavy. But me and the inmate went down the stairs and when we got to the bottom the door SLAMMED shut. We both looked at each other like what the hell… I went upstairs and opened it to see if maybe someone shut it but no one was up there in the kitchen… so we just concluded it must’ve been a ghost. There’s no AC units near it or windows so there couldn’t have been a breeze either.

  2. We were opening our recreation room which wasn’t used in 2-3 hours. The heavy punching bag that’s down there was moving on its own. And as we walked closer to investigate, it started swinging even harder and more aggressively.

  3. After both of these things happened I told the major at my institution I think this place is haunted and she said oh it definitely is we have security cam footage of the pots and pans flying off the hooks at 3am at night in the kitchen. She showed me the footage and they didn’t just fall off the hooks they like flew outward and fell. Freakiest shit I’ve seen fr.

Unexplained I think someone put a curse on me or maybe it’s something else.

hi guys, i don’t usually believe in this stuff but it’s been getting really scary. This is completely true and genuinely, i am an atheist, i don’t believe in ghosts or witchcraft but something is going on that i can’t explain.

It started 2 weeks ago.

I remember waking up in the middle of the night and next to my bed, i saw the figure of an old woman. I couldn’t see the face and i tried to rationalise what i was seeing as i live with flatmates so assumed it might be one of them.

The longer i looked though, i could even see details like that it was an older woman with hair below the shoulders, wearing a blue long dress with a white sash/thing around her waist.

I stared for a good 3 minutes and she started slouching over towards my door/mirror (i have a mirror on my door) and then disappeared.

I tried to rationalise that i was super tired and i could have imagined it.

Then other stuff started happening.

the following 2 weeks, my entire life began falling apart.

My phone completely broke.
I got locked out of my house.
My online google/uni accounts stopped working.
My laptop broke.
My bank cards stopped working.
I became so ill i couldn’t keep food down for a week.
My sim card stopped working.

and then finally, last night 3 pigeons slammed into my garden wall near my bedroom window and died.

I had to clean up the bodies, then when i went to uni, i had to borrow a laptop from the library (mine broke).

The minute the lecture begins, the laptop started blaring alarm sounds and i have to leave the hall as it is so incredibly loud that the lecture stopped.

I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what’s happening and at first i was like “yeah just been a horrible couple weeks” but i swear something is going on.

I don’t know what’s happening, i don’t know what to do.

BIRDS FLEW INTO MY WALL. Like what the hell is going on???

I know some people will be like god you just have such bad luck but i genuinely feel that at this point, something is happening. Some kind of external factor.

Question Phones listening to my thoughts

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’m so scared. I understand how algorithms work they can make predictions based on your past activity, and I’ve always tried to find explanations for things like this. But this time, it feels crazy.

Last night, I woke up, drank some water, and put the bottle on the dresser, which is higher than my bed. I started thinking, “What if there’s an earthquake and the bottle falls on me?” Then I started wondering whether my area is safe just the usual thoughts before falling asleep.
And this morning, I got an Instagram notification saying, “earthquakemap.live posted a thread you might like.” I am about to throw my phone away

BUT while writing this post I realize it is not only phone. Since childhood I often was like “wait this lady looks like Anna” and oooops that lady is not Anna but here is Anna coming out of nowhere ….. and I mean it …. Like what is going on with my mind ??

Photo Evidence Weird photo from marching band bus ride

Heyo, want to preface this by saying this could be a person as there were obviously people here, but I was a bit thrown off by the reflection in my glasses.

This is from a marching band trip and I remember this one being one of our long rides out to competition. Everyone was sat down as this was quite a bit into the ride, as you can clearly see behind me other folks are sat down too. So why in my sunglasses is there someone who is as tall as the ceiling/standing tall as hell with their mouth wide open not wearing our band shirt/wearing all black? Idk this might be nothin but it's been throwing me off for a while and wanted to get y'all's thoughts.

Please be kind I'm genuinely looking for y'all's thoughts.

Equipment Robert Klaus, Man who used his TV to communicate with his dead daughter and others

I just saw a short video about this. Has anyone else ever seen this? Or do they know how to set up their television to do this? All of it happened back in 1984 I think. The man had unbelievable images of his family members that had passed away. I'm just wondering if anyone else is curious about this, or if they have heard of it.

Experience 4 paranormal experiences by age 50

I've had 4 experiences in my life, from 19 to 47. They are different enough that I believe there's something else. Could be an afterlife or alternative existence after we die or multiple universes. I don't pretend to know. I am an atheist which makes these experiences extra odd.

Have you had experiences like these?

1) At 19 I was home from college and transcribing the Overture from Mozart's The Magic Flute into a piano solo. I was home alone with my father. At one point I got frustrated and laid my head on the piano keys. Several seconds later I felt a hand on my left shoulder. Assuming it was my father I said something like "It's okay. I'll figure it out." Turned around and no one was there. I searched the house and no one there either. Found my father in the backyard up a ladder trimming a tree. He swore he was not in the house. To be noted the other four members of my family all say they've seen a small boy of 8 or so years old with brown hair and brown clothes in the house. I never saw him. But maybe I felt him?

2) One of my grandmothers died in my 20s who I was very close to. During a deep depression several months later I can only explain it that I felt her presence. I then smelled her perfume. I said "Grandma?" and felt a warm loving feeling. Then it slowly faded.

3) I lived in a 1920 Victorian in my mid 20s to 30s that had a brick roof deck above us. All original. Countless times I, my husband, and visitors heard clear walking on the deck back and forth like a hard boot heel to toe. After a few years I yelled that this was my house now and whoever it was could continue walking up there just not when I was there. It stopped immediately.

4) At 47 a close friend and colleague died. Randomly one weekend months later I felt her presence clearly and could hear her saying "Oh Sarah...". I called her name and after several minutes it faded away.

It's important to note that none of these presences were negative. Quite the opposite. I've never been scared. Confused, yes.

Unexplained Saw a ghost go through a wall

Yesterday me and a few friends went out to a concert in downtown portland oregon. As we were standing in this long line along a cement black wall this woman with a black pixie cut, a hoodie, and a garbage bag thrown over her shoulder comes walking very fast over to the people in front of us. She definitely appeared to be homeless. Nobody noticed her as she crouched down near the line of people and gathered herself together with her things. I didn’t really think twice about it and continued my conversation as this is a norm in this city, what was so weird was that she got up and she then literally walked through these people. It was so strange that she was not “translucent” like a typical “ghost” sighting. Complete solid, real person. She then disappeared into the wall with all of her things. It was interesting - she moved fast and she was very determined in nature as well as if she was on a mission. I have never seen anything like it. I kept blinking and then even shifted over to see if the woman with the black hair was there. The next day i brought up to my friends this bizarre story and they said they never saw a homeless woman and I must’ve seen a ghost. I have experienced paranormal events in the past, but I had never seen a ghost in my life so this was extremely trippy. hopefully this is allowed! just thought id share :)

Question Should I be worried?

I picked up a spirit box off eBay for fun. Been frequenting a local graveyard, a few of the local inhabitants know me by name now. On the very north side of the cemetery there’s a war memorial with some benches. I was sitting there, mindlessly talking seeing if any interesting responses came through. For some reason I kept hearing the word north. Now the only thing more north of me than this memorial was the woods. I keep looking that way and eventually ask if there’s something over there, and clear as day I hear the word demon come through. Is this something I should be worried about? Is it possible there’s been a demon trying to attach itself to me or something? I’m not very in tune with anything spiritual like this, I mainly picked this up to convince myself ghosts are real. Now I’m just a little worried. I don’t want to leave for good though because I’ve admittedly started to care for a few of the spirits that talk to me regularly.

Experience I feel like i’m going crazy

I’ve recently moved into a apartment with my boyfriend and 1 yr old son and i’ve been getting this weird feeling since moving here like im being watched or something i don’t know, now my boyfriend leaves for work at 3am- 2pm sunday-thursday so im alone for majority of the night each day and im definitely not used to being alone at all as i used to live at home with my family (7 brother 2 sisters plus mum and dad) so i’ve never been in the position to be alone lol so im not sure if this is just paranoia or not.

but to actually get into it i’ve been having trouble sleeping for the past month which is so unlikely for me because i’ve always been able to sleep at any moment i can, i’ve just been so scared lately as i keep hearing noises around in my apartment.

The other night my son woke up in the middle of the night and while i was trying to get him back to sleep he looks into a direction where nothing is there and starts playing peekaboo with whatever he is seeing and laughing which obviously freaks me out quite a bit so the point i took him out of his room and tried getting him back to sleep in my bedroom. Since then i’ve been more on edge and just a lil scared, then i was sitting in my living room one day then i felt my hand burning and look down and see these tiny scratches that i definitely don’t remember getting and was too small to be from me scratching my hand or even from my son so now im a lil more freaked out lol.

But tonight is the reason why im posting though, i was trying to get to sleep at around 1am and then i felt and heard something tap my pillow twice behind me, i immediately freak out and wake my boyfriend and ask him if he just tapped the bed or moved and he said no (he thinks im going crazy) but i know for sure that something tapped my pillow i tired going back to sleep again while completely wrapped in my boyfriends arms because of how scared i was and im not sure if i fell asleep or not but i just remember opening my eyes and trying to speak and move but it felt like someone had their hand over my mouth and pinning me down it felt so awful, eventually i was able to talk and was just calling for help from my boyfriend (that scared the shit out of him lol) but i just don’t know what’s going on with me like am i going crazy or is there some paranormal shii going on

sorry if this is all jumbled up its currently 5:40am and i still haven’t slept and im all alone now so i feel like i cant sleep 🫠

Question Are there real or fake ouija boards?

So I work as an actor in a haunted house that is also actually haunted, and my scene is the paranormal room. There is an ouija board in the room but I’ve been told “don’t worry, it’s fake.”
I got curious and wanted to google what makes an ouija board real or fake, but I couldn’t find anything on it. So my dumb question is are all ouija boards real? Or how do I know I’m not going to accidentally contact a spirit in my scene while trying to scare guests 😭

Question Sheraton San Diego Bay Tower

Does anyone know if this hotel is haunted or know of any history with it? There are two separate sections of this Sheraton hotel in San Diego - Marina Tower (the updated section) and Bay Tower that hasn’t been updated yet. We stayed on the 12th floor of the Bay Tower section. Immediately I felt like the hotel felt a little odd but nothing unsettling. After checking in, I set off by myself down our hallway to see if there was a vending machine nearby. I felt okay at first until halfway down the very long hall I felt a very intense sensation that I was being followed. So much so that I called my husband and without explaining anything asked him to pop his head out and watch me until I reached the room. After that, all was fine. I will mention that I am not easily spooked. I am a clairvoyant that has dealt with things much of my life but this made me very uncomfortable.
