I always had strange encounters at my dad's house. It was a very active place with activity. As a teenager, I remember I saw my dad walk through the living room, into the kitchen, and then in the laundry room. I was walking behind him trying to get his attention, but he wasn't answering me. As soon as I turned the corner to the laundry room, he wasn't there. The laundry room was empty. I was very confused and walked toward his bedroom. He was sitting on his bed watching TV. I felt super creeped out by this because I sometimes saw random looking people in the house too, but they would also disappear. I used to hear sobbing in the house as well. Usually it was kind of quiet, but on one particular night, I laid on the bed with my sister reading the Bible out loud. The sobbing was really really loud. I was so confused because my sister wasn't reacting at all. I went out to the living room where the rest of my family were and still hearing the sobbing. No one was reacting, and I asked if anyone has been crying, and everyone said no. I told my dad that I have been hearing it, and he told me to keep reading it out loud and to walk around the house while I do it. It did stop after I did this. I went to every room and closet with this. I just wanted to share this creepiness with a community. I've been dying to tell my stories lol

Just to clarify I have always heard about creepy stuff happening at my job here like people hearing people walking around and hearing people seeing stuff move etc but never experience anything myself besides hearing people and some times hearing people walking around but we brought a ouija board here yesterday and tried messing around with it for a bit but nothing worked then just left it overnight then today we tried the same thing and today we saw some movement on cameras then our whole white board which is glued onto the wall fell the the computer started doing a lot of stuff opening processes resetting etc all on its own let me know what your guys thoughts are on this I will attach the video.

I've started to write this, and deleted it like 5 times now, because I can't begin to explain without sounding crazy...So I'm just going to write about what I just saw. I'm sitting in the kitchen now, there's a window here away from my bedroom, so I can smoke without getting the smoke all over the small house I have. Was here, just smoking a cigarette, I have a clear view to my bedroom, and I just saw like this little bubble, size of a nail, just bright, I mean bright like a flashlight bright. But it was so small, and it didn't reflect it's light on anything, just like a small pocket of light, just floating. And it went into my bedroom. So my first reflex was to grab my cellphone and go into my bedroom to check it out. Mind that, I have no light in my bedroom now, because of a short circuit, old house, bla bla....so, I went there with my phone, looked all around for it, I didn't find anything. I'm writing this now here, because I'm 100% sure I saw it going into my room. So for clarification, I didn't drink today, I don't use drugs, I'm not on any medication, I just had a normal day, was smoking a cigarette, and getting ready to go to bed. Any mistakes on the text it's because english is my second language, and I just wrote as it came, because I'm kinda shaking...it was a ball of light, I saw it.

I am a (18f) who has only two classes at a highschool and one class at a college so my schedule is pretty short which means I can come home late morning and have nothing to do the rest of the day. Usually, when I come home, either I do chores or go to sleep; well, recently, I decided to go to sleep more often when I get home and get up later in the afternoon.

Well, one day around , 10 I decided to go to sleep and turned off all the lights in the house and locked the door. My sisters room just so happens to be across from my room, like door facing door, and I always look inside there when I walk past and nothing seemed off.

Well, I wake up around 3 to the sound of my house front door shutting, and I see my sisters room light is on. (my front door is extremely heavy like even if you try to shut it quietly I can hear it in my room, plus we have life 360 so ik neither my parents or my sister came home) I texted my sister and she said maybe she forgot to turn it off but I specifically remember looking in her room and the lights were off, plus I go to check my front door and it was still locked.

Fast forward a couple weeks and I've been experiencing little things like things "falling in my room"(I heard the loudest thud one night like smth had fallen in my room and woke up the next morning but everything was in place), hearing things in the living room while I'm in the kitchen and stuff like that.

Well today I come home and decided to go to sleep as I do, I'm sleeping and I'm falling in and out and can't get good sleep then all of the sudden I hear the loudest three knocks on my bedroom door, like clear as day no mistaking it, I freeze and decided I'm not opening the door this time and tried to go back to sleep. when I got up later that afternoon, I made sure to check and see if the door was locked, and it was. One other thing that's been happening and I'm gonna see if I can link the story is me and this other girl at school have been hearing the same voice calling our names same tone and at different times and stuff, mainly when no one is around us.

I (18F) am on fall break for college. I am in Indiana, and live in one of the biggest cities. This will be relevant later on.

My dad (45M) likes to go fishing, and has a semi-popular social media page revolved around it. He’s been begging me to go with him, and I decided why not since I don’t have anything else to do.

His “fishing spot” was about 40-50 minutes away from our house, and we had to go through a weird gravel backroad in the middle of nowhere to get to this lake.

We got there around 2 am, which was pretty normal for him. We didn’t catch anything, but we had a really good time together.

We head home around 3:30-4am because it was a little chilly and neither of us had a hoodie or anything warm on.

When we’re driving, I have this urge to look out the drivers side window. It’s really weird now that I think about it, because I have really bad motion sickness and usually looking out windows that aren’t the windshield makes me sick.

I see something grey running at the road and immediately start yelling “DAD THERES A DEER”

He slams on his breaks, and we expect a deer to come running past.

The thing I saw was probably the size of a bear, but it was grey. I’ve never even heard of bears in this area, let alone any grey ones.

One thing my dad found weird was that it was moving in a directly straight line. Kind of like it was chasing something. It was also moving incredibly quick. Like, from the moment it crossed the tree line it was gone and we couldn’t see it.

My dad and I sat there for a few minutes trying to see what that was or if anything else was going to run by, but nothing did.

I asked my dad if he had a go pro or anything hooked up to his car, but he doesn’t. I wish there was a way for me to look back and pause on that thing.

I tried looking up bears in the area we were in, but there hasn’t even been a bear sighting here since the late 90s.

I also looked up bears species to see if there were any grey ones, but the only grey bears I found were in Alaska.

I’m not a huge believer in the paranormal, but some experiences at my dorm have made me curious, and I asked my friends who are very into the paranormal. They told me that they think it could possibly be a Skin Walker.

Any ideas as to what we saw in the woods would be appreciated!!

So I bought a four storey building with nine apartments in peshawar Pakistan for rental value. And apparently the big apartment of 5 rooms is haunted. The first tenants spent about 7 to 8 months and then started complaining about strange things like money and jewelery went missing, and at the end things started to get on fire, like clothes in box, and bed sponge etc. I didn't believe them and they left. Now new tenants moved in and it's not even been like 15 days and he complained about his wife getting slapped on the backside of the neck, but when she looked behind there was no one. And says that now she is ill too after that incident and is very scared, so they are also moving out. What am I supposed to do now? Currently it's only limited to this one apartment on the second floor, what if it spreads to the other flats? That's gonna be costly to me. Not only will I lose rental value but no one's gonna buy it if I decide to sell it. Any suggestions, recommendations?

For context, I take melatonin sometimes to fall asleep. But for the past few weeks whenever I take melatonin I get really bad nightmares. This is the reason I cannot tell if I actually experienced something or was it all a vivid dream.
This happened last night, was around 2:30-3 at night. I woke up feeling very heavy on my left arm as if someone was sleeping on it, and at one point I also felt like my arm fell asleep due to no blood flow (or something)
And I was trying to open my eyes but it was so hard to open my eyes or move my left arm but my right arm was moving easy. And I was trying to say something on the lines of “what do you want? Get off me” I could hear myself talk and trying to get out of the “weight” but I could not! Then I started chanting a Hindu verse and immediately felt like something got off of me and I was then able to move my left arm and also open my eyes.
At this point, I cannot tell if I experienced something or was it just a very bad nightmare.
What do you guys think?

My workplace is haunted. Multiple people have made claims that doors will randomly open, they hear voices and sometimes things will fly across the room. I don’t believe anyone has ever tried to make contact. What do you all recommend? Should we go about it a certain way?

Does anyone think sleep paralysis is tied to the paranormal? I’m learning a lot about sleep paralysis and was wondering what other peoples opinions are. Also do you have any stories of your sleep paralysis demon you would like to share? I’m curious if there is a link to the two because some people in my life have told me that it’s just a neurological issue, or nightmares, but I find that hard to believe 😂😂😂😂😂

One story I read the guy woke up and there was an all black figure sitting in a corner creepily taking his time towards the OP. Like that’s TOTALLY paranormal to me!!! Anyone have any crazy sleep paralysis ????

This was years ago. I'm about 23 now but this happened when I was about 4. Its something thats always stuck with me despite the years since it happened. So me and my brother had to share a bed because our father was abusive physically and felt we didn't deserve separate beds. But one night, I fell asleep and in my dream, I saw the blinds were rolled up, as they were normally, and i could see the streets. The orange streetlights were still in use on our road but in this dream they were blue. Like a soft pale blue. Then, in the middle of the room, I saw a black misty shape rise up. It rose slowly and I could feel my heart beating rapidly as it rose. When it fully rose, it hovered a few inches off the floor. Then it turned slightly in my direction and leapt at me. The best way I can describe the sound it made as it leapt was like a tiger's roar but not at the same time. I woke up, sitting up fast and looked outside. The streetlights were orange and there wasn't anything out of place. I noticed my brother was gone, but I figured he went to sleep in our mom's bed. Then I heard that same noise, as a growl this time and I ran to my mom's bed as well. I hopped in and cuddled up as close to them as I could. I don't know if it was a dream and that growl was just the lingering effects or what. It still sticks. If anyone has answers or even theories, I'd love to hear them.

So I believe in the afterlife, and so does my family. It’s just kinda sad that my grandmother is 91 and has been dealing with a lot. Little background she has something wrong with her blood count, she has MDS and gets blood transfusions every two weeks. Lately she has been seeing little girls around her bed that she’s not afraid of just telling them it’s time to go to bed and stuff like that and she also said she seen a man in a well dressed suit with a beautiful face according to my mom. She doesn’t feel scared even apparently telling my mom she tells the man about what hurts and all the pain and he responds back to comfort her and apparently his talks are very soothing and that’s when my grandma gets one of her best sleeps.

So for me I know she’s 91 but it seems like she is slowly moving her way to the afterlife. But she also has seen shadow figures but the shadow figures she gets scared because she can’t see them but she says the feeling when they are there isn’t a bad one like she doesn’t feel negative energy all the energy she feels is calm but the shadow figures worry her because she can’t see a face or anything.

So basically just posting this because I feel kinda sad I know it’s life she’s just been around for 91 years so it’s still going to hurt when she leaves but it seems like she’s drifting more into the spirt realm day by day. Just wondering if anybody else is going through or has gone through the same thing with a loved one.

As per title - want to hear from people who have dealt with such experiences

I had something really weird happen at a thrift store and I’m curious what other spiritual people or people who are really sensitive to energy think about it.
For context I’m a pretty spiritual person and I’ve always been really sensitive to energy. Sometimes I can just feel things from people, places, objects, etc and sometimes I just know things that I genuinely can’t explain. I also try not to immediately assume everything is spiritual though because obviously not everything is.

So I was at a thrift store with my friend and we were walking past this shelf with dolls and stuffed animals. I started getting really dizzy in that specific area but didn’t think much of it because the store was super cluttered and sometimes being around that much stuff can overwhelm me anyway. But I also kept feeling this weird pull toward that shelf and I just ignored it.

Not even a minute or two later two stuffed animals literally flew off the shelf. And I don’t mean they slowly tipped over or slipped off. They flew. My friend saw it too and we both just looked at each other like okay that was weird 😭

So I went over to pick them up and put them back and that’s when I noticed this Native American girl doll behind them. The second I saw her I felt CRAZY energy coming off of her. Like genuinely one of the strongest feelings I’ve ever gotten from an object. It felt really dark and heavy and almost malicious? Evil doesn’t feel like quite the right word but it was definitely intense and not comforting at all.

The weird part is I also felt extremely drawn to her.
My first thought was basically well if something knocked those stuffed animals down so she could be noticed then fine 😭 so I kind of just played along with it. I picked her up and moved her toward the front of the shelf and sat her upright so she was actually visible.

I even joked with my friend about taking her home because for some reason I REALLY wanted her, even though another part of me was basically saying absolutely tf not. I’m not about to knowingly bring something home when I have no idea what I’m dealing with.

I did take a picture of her though because I thought she was really interesting. Then we left the store.

Almost immediately after leaving my nose started GUSHING blood. Like not a normal little nosebleed. It was literally running out of my nose like water and took around half an hour to actually stop. I also got this horrible headache and felt like I was going to throw up. And I basically never get nosebleeds. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I had one before this besides knowing it had to have been years ago.

Then when I got home I looked at the pictures again and noticed there were THREE pictures of the doll.
I know for a fact I purposely only took one. Obviously it’s completely possible I accidentally hit the button a couple extra times without realizing it, so I’m not saying pictures magically appeared on my phone lol. But seeing that after everything else had already happened made me feel even more uncomfortable.

At that point I had this really strong feeling that I did not want the pictures on my phone anymore.
So I tried deleting them and my phone kept crashing while I was trying to delete them. It took me a few tries before they were actually gone and I did NOT like that 😭

Again, could absolutely just be my phone being my phone, but in the moment after everything else it freaked me out.

Once I finally got them deleted I cleansed myself and prayed while I was doing it. After that I started feeling better and I’ve felt completely normal since.
I’m literally getting goosebumps typing this out right now which is making me feel dramatic as hell lol but I’ve genuinely never had an experience like this before.

I know the nosebleed, headache, extra pictures and my phone crashing can all have completely normal explanations individually. I’m not trying to say this doll was 100% haunted or possessed or anything like that.

It was just the entire sequence of events together, plus how strongly I felt something from her before any of the physical stuff even happened, that has really stuck with me.

So I guess I’m just curious what other people make of this whole experience? Especially anyone who is sensitive to energy or has had something similar happen around an object before. I’m open to both spiritual and mundane explanations because I genuinely don’t know what to think about it.

(Side note: idk if this is relevant at all, but I do have Cherokee ancestry through my great-grandma. I wasn’t raised in the culture though and I don’t practice any Native traditions, so I’m definitely not trying to claim that means I had some special connection to the doll or anything. I just thought it was maybe worth mentioning?)

UPDATE: Not even an hour after I made this post my nose started bleeding AGAIN and it was nearly impossible to stop 😭 I’m officially geeked out. Maybe I’m actually just having some spontaneous health crisis man idk at this point lol.

Share your paranormal experiences, I'm from Colombia

I started driving in 2007. Ever since then I have had birds fly into the front of whatever I am driving. Since I started keeping track I have had 21 birds meet their end by a firm handshake with the front of my vehicle.

For example: my wife and I dropped our son off at school yesterday. As we were pulling away a bird DROPPED from the tree above us. Not flew, dropped like an Olympic Diver. My wife can attest that this happens more often than it should seeing she has been in the car with me a few times when it has happened.

I love birds, I don’t understand why this keeps happening. I feel like I’m cursed .It’s not just my current car either. I have had 4 different vehicles and the same thing keeps happening in each one .

Can someone out there who is familiar with omens help me out here and tell me what I need to do to make them stop/ not hurt themselves? It’s really getting to me seeing I love animals.

While looking through some old newspaper clippings that my grandfather saved (he died in the early 90's) I came across these three articles from The Roanoke Times & World News. I remember hearing about this event growing up, and I went to school with the child involved (although we were not friends).

There were rumors of crazy things happening around him for many years. Even in high school. I do not want to identify him. So I will call him John. I was told that another student had been bullying John pretty savagely. The very same day (of the bullying) that student cut off one his own fingers in shop class - a class he had with John. Another time, my friends and I were driving home from school and we passed a kid walking on the highway. My friend said, "hey, that's John. Don't look at him" (we were afraid of him). Several miles later we stopped to get gas...and John was sitting outside the store drinking a soda. We have no idea how he arrived before us. It seemed unlikely that he hitched a ride with someone else, and even if he did there is no way he could have arrived before us.

I thought it was neat that my grandfather saved the newspaper clippings.

What I’d like to hear from you is which event or experience led you to feel you had proof that there is an afterlife. Which experience(s) did you have that can only be explained by our continued existence after death?

Just saw a comment on here that made me remember a weird incident I had way back in late 2009. One day, I started receiving phone calls from an all 0 phone number (looked like 0000000000). I picked it up only to hear a weird static like sound on the other end. A few minutes later, this same number called me again. I pick up just to hear the static noises again. A few minutes pass and I get called again. This time I don’t pick up and figure this might cause the number to stop dialing me. I don’t answer, and receive a notification that they left me a voicemail. I listen to it and hear the static noises once again. They literally did this for the next 45 minutes to an hour and by the time they finally stopped, I must have had at least 20 voicemails. I have read that some scammers/telemarketers will sometimes alter their caller ID with all numbers like this but this is the first time I’d had it happen where they also leave voicemails.

During the summer of 2017, I had a couple seemingly paranormal experiences that centered around the guy I was dating at the time.

Shortly after we started dating, he opened up to me that he experienced sleep paralysis, during which he would see a shadow figure emerge from the far corner of his room (which was the entire basement of his parents' house) and come to stand over the side of his bed. He later told me that he often saw this same shadow figure watching him from a distance when he was out and about during the day as well. I might have thought these were just ordinary hallucinations if it weren't for the strange things that happened later that summer.

One night, we were hanging out in his room/his parents' basement when I noticed he had fallen asleep. Just then, the light in the corner of the room at the bottom of the stairs turned off and I immediately felt a strong, unexplainable sense of terror wash over me and felt like something was standing just over my shoulder.

I shook my boyfriend awake and asked if he had been going into sleep paralysis. He assured me that he wasn't, but later that night as he walked me out to my car, he confessed that he had been going into sleep paralysis but just didn't want to freak me out.

As we were saying goodnight, I noticed he kept glancing towards the house with a look of concern on his face. Then as he was walking back towards the house, I turned to look at what he was seeing, and through the window to the basement, I could see the same light in the corner of his room turning on and off over and over again. I drove off and didn't get a wink of sleep that night.

Sure, I guess it's possible that he had some sort of remote device that was turning the light on and off or that his parents were doing it from inside, but that just doesn't seem likely to me based on their personalities. And I don't know what the point of that would have been.

Then a few weeks later, he and I were sitting in his truck in the parking lot of a local park at like 10 o'clock at night when we suddenly saw what looked like two small orbs, one white and one blue floating towards us from across an open field about 100 yards away. But when he turned on his truck and aimed the headlights in that direction, the two lights were gone and there was nothing/no one in the field.

I wondered if it could have been a couple of kids with flashlights or something, but I don't know how they could have found somewhere to hide in the handful of seconds that we were looking away. Plus, based on the way my boyfriend was acting, I got the sense that he could sense something spooky happening but didn't want to freak me out. He seemed to have a 6th sense for a lot of things (also, he told me he could see people's auras, which was how he was able to tell when my moods shifted better than anyone else has ever been able to).

Anyway, I don't really know much about paranormal stuff, so I'm not sure what to attribute these experiences to or why my boyfriend always had these sorts of things happening around him, so feel free to let me know if you have any ideas. We broke up a few months later and I'm not in contact with him anymore, so I can't give any updates or anything. But the memories of these experiences have just haunted me ever since.

So this one time I was in the hospital it was in the middle of the night I woke up and I saw a shadow figure in the corner of my room. I watched it leave the room so I got up and asked staff was anybody near my room and they said no one was there for a half hour.

While I was half asleep, I experienced sleep paralysis. My face was covered, and I couldn't move, but my hand was outside the blanket. I felt the presence of a figure trying to reach my hand, and I tried as hard as I could to move. I touched its stomach or waist; it was small. In the middle of this, I recited Quran, and with difficulty, the sleep paralysis broke, and I got my hand back under the blanket. Note that a few days before this, I heard breathing sounds in the room.

Yesterday, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our 14-year-old beagle, Holly, to sleep. We knew she wasn’t doing well, but we had no idea that day would be her last.

The night before, my dad witnessed something really strange. While Holly was sleeping, a blue light suddenly appeared directly above her. He described it as almost like a portal opening, expanding to about 10 inches across. It was completely filled with blue light and then simply disappeared. He said he felt peaceful rather than frightened and has never experienced anything like it before.

The next morning, Holly took a significant turn for the worse. My dad said he could just tell something had changed, almost like she had given up and was ready to go. We made the decision to put her to sleep about 16 hours after he saw the light.
I’ve been reading about shared death experiences and spiritual transitions, and I’m really curious about what he witnessed.

Has anyone experienced something similar, particularly seeing a blue light or portal near a loved one (human or animal) shortly before they passed? I’d love to hear personal experiences or spiritual interpretations.

Also, our dog Angel was 16 and passed 8 months and a day before Holly. When she passed, I was especially distraught and asked her to send me a sign - I asked for a blue angel. A few days later, I saw a blue angel statute. In my heart, I hope it was sweet Angel coming to guide Holly. 🦋🐶🤍🦋

Last week, some friends and I stayed at an airbnb lake house outside of Houston. One night, we were all outside in the back around a campfire. The house had a lot of windows and there were 3 near us that were abnormally low with no screens on them.

While I was sitting at the fire, facing the house, I saw one of my friends, or what looked exactly like her, duck and walk through one of the windows. As soon as that happened, she immediately walked out of the front door carrying food for the grill. The timing was impossible and I thought it was weird.

I asked her “did you just walk through this window?” And she said “no” while looking confused I would even ask that. The reason I asked was to tell her a funny story that happened years ago with a friend crashing through a window once (I was thinking about this story while watching her go through the window) . After she said no, I actually kind didn’t know how to feel. I made sure she wasn’t fucking with me but the other 3 people were next to me and didn’t see her go through the window; they weren’t facing that way.

I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I saw her (or what I assumed was her) physically step through that window. But it wasn’t her or anyone else in the group. I just feel like if I were to see a ghost, it wouldn’t be stepping through a window like that. My friend said maybe I slipped between dimensions for a second. I’m just curious if anyone has had a similar experience.
