Discussion Update / Case Closed DTI Mediation

• Upvotes

Context: https://www.reddit.com/r/PHbuildapc/s/TvzVidJGp6

The DTI mediation went smoothly. During the session, the manager representing Acer/Predator agreed to check if they could repair the motherboard without us having to pay for a full replacement. After about a week, they confirmed that the root issue was actually just a faulty Power IC, so they completely voided the motherboard repair fee. We only had to pay ₱2,180 for the liquid metal application. I’ve finally picked up my laptop today, and they gave me a 1-week observation period to thoroughly test it and make sure the issue is fully fixed. I’m so thankful this whole stressful situation is over, and I'm really hoping my laptop stays alive and smooth from here on out.

Thank you community.

Build Guide Hi all! I want to buy (or build) my own PC from datablitz. Any tips for me?

Post image
9 Upvotes

I’ve heard about datablitz having poor customer service. But i also don’t wanna get scammed by buying a pre-built one. I literally have no experience on PCS or specs because i’m a console player. And i also wanna get a whiff on roughly how much ₱ i would need. And sadly for me i play heavy games, and one of the reasons i want a PC is to mod some of my favorite games!

and i was hoping some could tell me where to buy each part as i’ve heard i should buy each part from different retailers

Discussion Buying in Marketplace (RAM)

Hello, I have a question is it worth it to buy RAMs from marketplace even though it’s brandnew and sealed? RAM prices are going high right now and I found 2 marketplace sellers that’s selling it for cheap according from 1 seller it’s from “mall pullout” thats why its cheap but there is no warranty on it, is it worth it to take the risk? and the other one is they bought it for his/her spouse but bought an extra and is selling it they lost their receipt and is bnew and sealed also. I would appreciate the responses and opinions

Laptop Help LAPTOP RECOS FOR ROBLOX & LIGHT GAMING

Hi everyone!

Looking for any laptop recos for a 12 y/o kid that can handle schoolworks, light gaming, & Roblox ofc.

Budget: Php 40,000 more or less

Priority: Mid performance (low graphics will do)

Does not need to be a gaming laptop. Basta maeenjoy niya lang yung experience niya with Roblox and some Steam games (with guidance naman), then all goods.

Also, saan pa ba makakabili now? Halos sold-out kasi sa Datablitz eh.

Thank you!

Build Help need help building my first pc

im planning to build my own pc po and need ko lang po ng advice and suggestions.

as of now, sobrang taas po ng mga price ng pc components and medyo nagdadalawang isip po ako if i should build one na or wait until prices drop since hindi naman po urgent (can wait until late 2027). suggest po kayo ng builds na sakto po sa budget ko na 100k na more on performance po instead of aesthetics. gagamitin ko po sana for college and for gaming na rin (cs2, 2k, val). any suggestions would be appreciated po.

Hi! Planning to build a PC mainly for 1440p gaming. I'm considering getting all the parts from PC Worth for convenience.

Just wanted to check if the prices are reasonable or if there are better-value alternatives.

Component Model Price
CPU Ryzen 5 7500F ₱7,495
GPU PowerColor Reaper RX 9070 XT 16GB ₱49,395
Motherboard ASUS B650M-AYW WiFi ₱6,850
RAM KLEVV FIT V 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 ₱26,495
SSD Lexar NQ780 512GB ₱5,995
PSU Gigabyte UD750GM PG5 V2 750W Gold ₱5,395
Cooler MSI MAG CoreFrozr AA13 ₱1,395
Fans Ocypus Gamma F12 UNI 3-pack ₱1,480
Case DeepCool CH170 Plus Black ₱3,495
Total ₱107,995

Would appreciate any suggestions on where I could save money without sacrificing too much performance or quality. Thanks!

Discussion I think I hit a brick wall

AM4 (Ryzen 5 5500) user for quite some time and recently upgraded GPU to 5060ti 8gb - oo ansarap gamitin- before Q4 of this year. I intend to play more games given the lax amount of limited time that I got kase mag mimigrate ako.

Nagmamahalan na so intend to upgrade to AM5 socket , sagad Ryzen 7 9800X3D , B850 [walang budget constraints, konte lang iuuppgrade].

It took more than a month of hyperfixation para dumating ako sa decision na to since AM4 is still a very solid platform for gaming or productivity. I think future-proofing matters more on my end, kahit overkill.

Let me know what you have in mind.
