Yeah that's me. Here's a little backstory.
All my life I always wanted Nike Shox but never understood why it's only on the back part of the shoe
Among never being able afford them growing up and until I found out they came out with the TLs. Not only is it my dream to have that shox bounce thingys now the entire shoe has it
Until I was the price $180! Omg that's insane for this show but all my life I followed the engineering on what they put into it and the heart and soul of the design and thought... Screw it. Maybe I'll try a pair now that my feet hurt so bad from walking 9k, 11k to 19k steps at my job either a or a weekend.
Found out they were on sale for $125 and I snagged a pair
Slapped them only to be.... Very disappointed. Not only do they not cush as much as I thought but the toe box is so tiny and narrow and it made no sense to me. So I ordered a size up to compensate. Nope didn't work, on top of that the columns are very stiff like unusually stiff. I thought they had air or a spring in them but nope they are just solid hollow columns. Maybe some air but too stiff to be considered a comfy shoe
Fast forward to using them for 2 days at work my feet were in so much pain (everywhere not just the plantar parts) Now keep in mind, my feet are already in pain and I'm developing plantar fasciitis again. (I had it in the past but it for the most part healed from icing my feet every night with ice socks for 2 years) Well let's put it this way they didn't inflam as much.
Maybe I made a mistake. They might be a running shoe? I feel like these would be hard to run in, but I have some Brooks Revennas where they are "running shoes" and they are so comfortable it's insane. Not nimbus comfortable but comfortable as hell for a running shoe.
Long story I know but I wanted to air out my frustrations and how sad I am that I need to return these to Nike and was hoping people also had a similar story. These legendary shoes that I thought were like gods in comfort and bouncey are really just not, and Google searches show they don't get softer after break in. They are just a stiff shoe.

I bought these Air Jordan 1 Mid "Reverse Bred" back in 2023 — here's how they're holding up more than 3 years later. Taking a close look at the leather, sole, and overall wear after years of use, plus my honest thoughts on whether they're still worth it today. https://youtu.be/GUIdZIfee1U

Finally copped the Nike Killshot 2 Premium in Metallic Silver The details on these are wild.
Been debating between these, but I finally pulled the trigger on the Killshot 2 PRM "Tiempo Pack" in Metallic Cool Grey. Have to say, they look even better in hand than they do in the product shots.
If anyone is on the fence about the metallic trend, here are the major plus points after getting them unboxed:
The Fold-Over Tongue: This is the absolute highlight. It gives off heavy '90s football/pitch vibes, but since it's detachable, you can easily switch it up if you want a cleaner, more traditional profile.
Material & Finish: The glossy metallic grey synthetic leather upper hits the perfect balance. It’s flashy but still grounded enough to pair perfectly with wider double-pleated trousers or vintage tailoring without looking out of place.
Retro Sole Contrast: The dark brown gum rubber outsole anchors the whole shoe, keeping that classic low-profile '70s tennis heritage intact while adding excellent traction.
Heritage Details: The bold black Swoosh and the subtle "72" stamped on the heel give the whole silhouette a very premium, elevated finish.
They are a surprisingly versatile way to pull off a metallic sneaker. How is everyone else styling these?
