I encourage every young person here to watch Andrei Kirilenko's highlights. This post was inspired by a statline from Nov. 30, 2007, where Kirilenko had 20 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, 6 steals and 4 blocks. It remains the only PTS+REB+AST triple-double in NBA history to feature 10 combined stocks and 0 turnovers, so that's indicative of him as a player; he could impact every single statistical column of the game substantially. His 2004 campaign is truly one of the greatest seasons ever by a player not in the HOF, along with peak Fat Lever, Shawn Marion and Brad Daugherty.
He also had perhaps the coldest nickname in NBA history.

We saw all the Sh!t Talking you’ve been saying last couple of years. The difference is that you can actually see the improvements to Ausar Thompson game but you can’t say the same for Amen. I like Amen and I do think Offensively Amen is more explosive. But Ausar is definitely looking like the better prospect with more upside as the scouts predicted. This isn’t a hate on amen cause he’s solid. But Ausar is going to be special.

Following a barrage of high-profile gambling scandals and federal investigations, the NBA has officially ordered sportsbook partners like FanDuel and DraftKings to strip out several high-risk betting markets. Moving forward, bettors can no longer combine multiple under outcomes for a single player into one parlay, place under bets on rotation players expected to log fewer than 12 minutes, or sweat "first-of" micro-bets like the opening tip.

He is very slow, can’t shoot and barely defends. Wemby lacks skill but he is a lot faster and has some offensive ability. Kornet can’t do simple layup.

I really think that there's someone out there inconceivably good at basketball that the NBA just does not want out there for the reason of it would just make the league unwatchable. No point of wondering who will win awards or the championship, no suspense in anything, nothing.

Joey and Janie Buss filed a 29-page document opposing their sister's petition to remove them as co-trustees, which would void the siblings' 5-1 vote to sell the family's remaining stake in the team.
The filing argues their right to hold the vote to sell and highlights trust language stating a sale requires a two-thirds majority, which they exceeded. It also challenges the breadth of Jeanie's rights as a co-trustee and acting governor, and argues Jeanie's contempt claim lacks merit since the siblings "exercised voting rights expressly granted to them as beneficiaries."
On the initial vote, Jeanie was the only one of the six siblings to vote against the sale. This whole mess ties directly into the Iger-Kushner purchase and the team's valuation. Feels like this drags on well past opening night at this rate.
