This popped up in my Instagram feed today out of nowhere, so I figured you all would appreciate seeing this especially if you're a fan of Kitana or Sonya.

Kitana is portrayed by a woman who goes by the name Crystal Starr (@cjstarr93), not sure who the blonde playing Sonya is but she shows up in the other woman's pics on occasion.

I enjoy both games, and I wanted both movies to be great success and open the doors for more in the future.

There's no way someone can say Street Fighter is a better movie. I won't get into the details, but if anyone wants to chime in, please do

Are there many people playing MK10? Is it very different from MK1? Would a lot of what I learn in MK10 be useless as I eventually transition to MK1 and games that come afterward? Do the characters themselves change very much?

I know a lot of people hate MK1 but I'm not sure what the consensus is on MK10. Pretty sure MK11 is widely disliked. I hear a lot of good things about MK9 but that game doesn't seem likely to have a strong online presence at this point.

Any insights are appreciated!!

First off it’s hilarious seeing Noob in a hoodie. But, arguably the best feature MK4 introduced to the series was alternate costumes for the characters. In some of the costumes, they would have the characters in more relaxed attire that felt separate from what they would usually wear while fighting.

In the 3D era, it seem like the concept of having more civilian or casual clothes would blend into some of the characters regular attire, with Deadly Alliance showing Sonya’s costume’s with more a military but casual influence, Johnny Cage’s tuxedo reflecting his actor status, and even Kung Lao’s attire had a more laid back appearance that reflected his life as a monk.

Modern games have done this as well with the farmer Jax costume in MKX and Kenshi’s and Johnny Cages outfits in MK1. While they don’t have to be their main attire, I think it’s cool to have costumes for the characters that can reflect more of their lifestyle outside of tournament or fighting, and it can humanize them a little more.

Thoughts on this? Would you like to see more casual clothing for the characters?

What is everyone’s consensus with cameo characters from other franchises dont get me wrong i loved playing as freddy, jason, letherface, ghostface and peacemaker but i wouldve rather preferred if they added characters we havent played as in a while like d’vorah, kotal khan the komabt kids or jade couldve been fun additions mk1 deals with a multiverse so every character technically still exists in some fashion

I feel he would had been a good fit for the roster.

So I I was about to buy the mortal kombat legacy kollection but why is it rated so low??? It’s currently at a 3.68 on PlayStation store. Also does it contain mortal kombat shaolin monks? Cause I’ve been wanting to play that game for a while and can you unlock mortal kombat 2 characters? Cause I heard in the PAL version for ps2 you cannot unlock them. Please and thanks! 🙏🏻
