I have a main play through in World and Wilds, World has Harrison and Wilds has Henry. Henry is 25, making him 3 years younger than what I speculate Gemma to be, while he is also 8 years younger than his older brother, Harrison. Both Harrison and Henry are Lance main play throughs.

My lore is that they are the brothers in a new noble family that emerged in MH4, after their father, Harry Vertied(yes that’s the family name) became famous and all that stuff, I haven’t personally played 4, but I want to see what it’s about to actually flesh this out. And I also want to play it because I want to see what Lance was like in that game.

So, both Harrison and Henry were alive during MH4, due to Gemma(little miss forge) being there too.

I also like to think Wilds happens 5 years after World specifically for the lore.

What the theory entails is that anjanath and deviljho are both related and they are somewhat related to 6 limbed elder dragons (going to be called hexelders for short because I'm too lazy to write 6 limbed elder dragons a lot) specifically anjanath

For the deviljho and anja part of the theory its mostly based on their tyrannosaurid build and incredibly similar trait of the jaws. They both have a stiff intramandibular joint (a rigid hard jaw) allowing for them to sustain large amounts of stress when using their jaws (because no shock the "fierce jaw wyvern" and the "world eater" put those chompers to good use). But the part I want to look at is the teeth on the jaw, they both feature an extra row (or rows in jhos case)

For the anja- hexelder theory this one is admittedly a bit outlandish but what it entails is that anja's "wings" (sail? Idk) look simmilar to bat wings with the finger bone as the base of the wing and the membrane filling it in, if yo look at the anjanath wing sail thing it looks oddly simmilar to that which would imply 2 sets of arms one being constantly pointing upwards (or its just neural spikes like a spinosaurus and I'm just overthinking it like crazy but I doubt it since usually neural spines are pretty rigid and cant fold around like anja can) which is only found in hexelders (Ex: shagaru magala, fatalis, malzeno, velkhana, etc). While I'm not saying anjanath IS an elder dragon because he most definetly isnt I'm not saying he is incredibly far removed from them biologically (especially since elder dragon is a very loose term that isnt really biological, like kirin in no way is more related to gogmazios than it is to arzuros)

Though most of this is pretty speculative so take it with a massive bucket of salt

I am wondering cause playing through Monster Hunter G Wii and Monster Hunter Tri at the same time has made me wish that there were a way to combine the two games somehow. As they have almost the same amount of content in the base singleplayer villages of both games with the Elder Dragons Lao and Ceadeus being the only two you can fight in village.

But you would add 5 new hunting locals, maybe remaking the Old Jungle and Old Desert a bit to include underwater combat. Plus it would be really cool to see 3rd gen monsters in 1st gen locations and 1st Gen Monsters in 3rd Gen locations. The idea of fighting Royal Ludroth in the Old Jungle sounds really cool or hunting Plesioth in the tight confines of the underground lake in Old Desert.

Funnilly enough it'd also increase the amount of weapons in Tri by one since Dual Blades was cut. Bringing Tri's weapon count to 10 weapons (counting Medium Bowgun.).

I think it would just be fun to combine the two Wii Monster Hunter games together as I feel their content compliments one another. Sure you could get absurdly high monster counts and almost an endless amount of content combining say MHGU with Frontier ZZenith (which I would also love). But I just picked these two games cause they are two I love playing. Even if I can't read the Japanese text of MHG Wii, I still really like the game.

I'm finally doing Hub quest and wanted to play with people, but I don't understand how the lobbies work. I joined a few, but I don't get filters or settings for the lobbies like in MH4U, for example.

Instead, it's usually I pick a lobbies, let's room 1, join it, and hope the people in it are the same HR or close. Although usually I join and the people are endgame and ignore me to do their own quest

There are more known ones like arkveld being The White Wraith and nu udra being the black flame but almost every monster has a title and I think that's really cool, some one's I really like off the top of my head are

There's also some monster's that have disappointingly lame titles like legiana being the wind drifting wyvern, and seltas queen being the heavy shell insect
