i got accepted into a PASS role and i have an upcoming assessment where they'll evaluate how we plan and facilitate activites + come up with an icebreaker

im really hoping i land the role to add to my resume and get more experience. though, ive heard that the workload can be pretty hefty. i signed up for a unit that was just my elective last semester (it was the only one i had experience with in the options) but im not sure if that strictly means i'll only be allocated sessions about that unit or not

has anyone got any PASS leader experience here that could give some wise words about what its like? or any advice about the assessment + icebreaker stuff? any help would be appreciated! (im lowkey shitting myself)

Hi! I’m a first-year Bachelor of Science student at Monash going into second year, and I’m considering majoring in Physiology.

I’d love advice from students who have taken second- and third-year Physiology units, particularly regarding workload, assessment styles, teaching quality and which units they enjoyed.

I’m also trying to decide on a complementary minor. I’m interested in human biology and health, and would appreciate recommendations for combinations that provide a useful foundation while keeping the workload manageable…

Would you recommend Anatomy and Developmental Biology, Human Pathology, Psychology, or something else alongside Physiology?

I’m looking for a semester one level 2 science unit and was wondering how people found these units. For background I have done BIO1011 and CHM1011 sem 1 and am doing BIO1022 and CHM1022. I am interested in applying for post grad medicine. I would like to improve my academic results and was wondering whether I could take additional units during summer or winter, or overload in Years 2 and 3.

Could you please clarify whether extra units can count toward my degree GPA if they are outside my standard course map, and whether there are any restrictions on taking additional credited units?
