General Rules:

Hey everyone, I need to get an approved sticker for my calculator before final exams. Where do I go to get it stickered? Does my specific faculty front desk do it, or is there a central student hub (like Monash Connect) that hands them out? Thanks!

Hey guys, could someone enlighten me on what the eng1013 interview/viva is like. I am doing it this week and have got no idea what kind of questions they might ask.

Hey guys- going into third year and was looking for some reviews on psych units

Currently got PSY3052 picked out (im doing PSY3032 this semester). I need one more psych unit- which is a good option?

thanks in advance

I've been wondering how other international students build a good career while they're at uni. I feel like there are so many events, projects, competitions and networking things happening, but I have a hard time even finding out about them idk if its me but i it just seems my problem. For context, I am doing Bachelor BA and Finance year 2 at the moment, i am a bit regret that i couldn't do more, and most of the time I only hear about something because someone I know sends it to me.

At the moment I'm thinking of doing the MIG program and trying to get involved in more projects and case comps, but I'm not really sure if it will make a difference as an international.

I want to as for those graduated, what did you actually do during uni that helped your career? Were case comps, projects, societies, networking events, or internships actually useful? And how did you find these opportunities in the first place?

I misses the deadline for C2 and the thing is now I want to submit it but it's not letting me. If I don't submit C2 I won't be able to submit C3 C4 as well. Please could anyone help me figure out?

Just wondering if anyone has had luck getting a further extension after you’ve been granted spec con? I’m DSS registered and they approved a long extension (10 days) for my final two assignments. Unfortunately I’m currently going through a lot of unanticipated mental stress right now, family issues and my pet is also unwell. What are the chances if I ask for another 5 or so days in addition to the 10 days they already approved? My psychologist is happy to write something up. But I know we’re at the end of semester so I’m unsure if the rules are stricter with final assignments? I’m doing a masters (coursework) for reference. Thank you in advance

Hey I'm a current BSci student and enrolled in the GIG unit coming up in November

I want to do a course transfer into another course, but the one I want to transfer into is not eligible for GIG. what should I do?

The dates to drop out of GIG without any penalties is 3rd Nov but the course transfer outcome is released on 11 Dec

I really don't know what to do because if I drop out GIG and don't get into the course then I've just missed out on a really great opportunity, but if I do GIG and get accepted into the course I might not be able to take it because of eligibility? Or I could complete units later but that would just delay grad.

Anyway pls help

gang how we do

hey everyone! im doing arts majoring in criminology and seeking some easy level 2-3 criminology electives! any suggestions would be great!! preferable if there are quizzes and no presentations. THANKS!

I highly suspect my lecturer is literally getting AI to grade the entire assignment from start to finish and making 0 amendments or manual checks.

hi everyone!
i got accepted into a PASS role and i have an upcoming assessment where they'll evaluate how we plan and facilitate activites + come up with an icebreaker

im really hoping i land the role to add to my resume and get more experience. though, ive heard that the workload can be pretty hefty. i signed up for a unit that was just my elective last semester (it was the only one i had experience with in the options) but im not sure if that strictly means i'll only be allocated sessions about that unit or not

has anyone got any PASS leader experience here that could give some wise words about what its like? or any advice about the assessment + icebreaker stuff? any help would be appreciated! (im lowkey shitting myself)

Hey guys, I’ve got my in class demo for assignment 2 in week 12 and I wanted to know what kind of qui rations they will ask you, or how they will ask you to run your commands in the VM. I mean, it’s pretty straightforward to be honest, but I still want someone to tell me how it went for them…

Hey just wanna ask how you guys are preparing for the 1005 exam .

I’m looking to transfer into Paramedicine next year from my current degree and my wam is in the 60s. I know it says 60 minimum wam on the website but I was wondering what are some actual wams that got accepted? I just want to know what a realistic wam would be for admission. thanks

Hi,

I am interested in applying for post grad medicine. I would like to improve my academic results and was wondering whether I could take additional units during summer or winter, or overload in Years 2 and 3.

Could you please clarify whether extra units can count toward my degree GPA if they are outside my standard course map, and whether there are any restrictions on taking additional credited units?

Thank you for your help!!!

Hi guys! I will be joining monash college melbourne in feb 2027, is anyone else going? would love to make friends before the start of the yr.

If my medical says “medically unfit to attend studies from..” would they accept my special consideration or would it have to say unfit to attend university?

I’m looking for a semester one level 2 science unit and was wondering how people found these units. For background I have done BIO1011 and CHM1011 sem 1 and am doing BIO1022 and CHM1022. I don’t really enjoy the chemistry that much. Im planning to major in zoology and minor in ecology. Any advice is appreciated :)

Hi! I’m a first-year Bachelor of Science student at Monash going into second year, and I’m considering majoring in Physiology.

I’d love advice from students who have taken second- and third-year Physiology units, particularly regarding workload, assessment styles, teaching quality and which units they enjoyed.

I’m also trying to decide on a complementary minor. I’m interested in human biology and health, and would appreciate recommendations for combinations that provide a useful foundation while keeping the workload manageable…

Would you recommend Anatomy and Developmental Biology, Human Pathology, Psychology, or something else alongside Physiology?
Thanks !!! 😇😇😇

Hey guys,
I’m wanting to transfer to Monash bachelor of nursing next year from another university. Can anyone tell me about their experience studying nursing here?

Need a white board marker 💔 there’s none at Matheson

More so for applicants from interstate, how much did you get in your atar and ucat

i have no clue what to pick for my major, but i always procrastinate until the very last day for assignments. are there any good units with little assignments?

Hi all,
Was wondering where people did their placements for the master of nursing practise at monash.
I live in the west and was wondering if there is a preference system to get placements closer to home ?
I have also been accepted at melbourne but would prefer monash as I completed my undergrad there, however am worried all of my placements will be over that side of town.
Thanks !!
