Tip Teams Meetings Get AI Memories for Copilot

If your tenant has Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses, you’ll soon see meeting archive files generated by AI for Teams meetings. The files are stored in a SharePoint Embedded container, but they’re not intended for user consumption. Instead, AI tools like Copilot and the Facilitator agent will use meeting archive files to generate better responses to questions from meeting participants about what happened during meetings. It’s yet another file type to figure out how to govern.

Discussion Teams Free (personal/consumer) is retiring Communities. Where does that leave consumer Teams?

Just got the “Communities is retiring soon” notice in Teams Free. To clarify, this is the personal/consumer version, not Teams for work or school. Microsoft’s announcement.

I’m in the Teams Free Insider programme, and the corresponding community has already disappeared. Not even a goodbye 😅

As apparently one of the dozen people still using consumer Teams... what do we reckon the future is for this somewhat forgotten product?

I noticed this option in my Teams desktop app in my test tenant. Are you seeing it in your tenant too?

❔Question/Help Can teachers see how many times you've unsubmitted and resubmitted an assignment on Microsoft Teams?

Okay, this might be a really specific question, but I've been overthinking it LOL.

I have a habit of submitting my assignments, noticing something I want to fix, clicking "Undo turn in," making a small correction, and submitting again. Except I've done this an embarrassing number of times for the same assignment...

I'm not talking about document version history or whether they can manually dig through submission records. I just want to know if, when a teacher opens an assignment to grade it, there's some visible counter or indication that a student has submitted it like 15 times. Basically, does my teacher know I've been fighting for my life in the submission tab, or does he just see my latest submission?

Would especially appreciate an answer from teachers who've used Teams for assignments!
