Hello everyone, I’m about 7 weeks into flower approaching the chop date I believe, but I had a couple questions, firstly, I have dealt with a few issues with this grow, most notably powdery mildew, underwatering (as the person I trusted to water it was very unreliable and did not stick to the schedule we agreed to while I was away), and lastly what seems to be some nutrient issues that are my fault as a first time grower and most likely due to me watering until too much runoff (I think). However throughout this grow I have dealt with powdery mildew pretty frequently and have gone through a cycle of foliage sprays (potassium bicarbonate) and spot treating powdery mildew with a hydrogen peroxide solution, as well as chopping affected leaves. Which leaves me here with my canopy looking as follows with small patches of powdery mildew still popping up, I have a couple questions for those who are more experienced than myself first, with this plant being affected by powdery mildew is it safe to smoke the buds, and second what nutritional issues would you diagnose from my canopy. Any tips or criticisms as brutally honest as possible are more than welcome as this is my first grow and many mistakes have been made, I appreciate your feedback. Thank you, I have posted a picture of the canopy as well as an example of some of the powdery mildew, I’m keeping my humidity low around 39 rh, with it creeping up to 45 ish at nighttime

It is 37 days into flower. This is my first time doing dwc so I understand visually there are some problems lol but it’s going great so far. Buds are swelling. I did defoliate on day 24 but it still seems bushy in the middle. Should I defoliate? Or just tuck.

Just showing where my accidental photo is at. This thing was supposed to be an auto but here we are. Not quite sure when I flipped it, probably about 45 ish days of flower. Thinking I probably have about 3 weeks or so before I can even think about harvesting, probably longer unless the buds start swelling this week. Any thoughts are welcome

Hey folks. This is my first time growing. Some of the colas are leaning more each day as they bulk and I’m getting a bit concerned. How would you tackle this? Twine?

I’m going to start my first photo soon, is this amount of light leak bad?

Hey everyone!
So apparently a feminized photoperiod White Widow seed accidentally fell into a pot of soil… and now I’ve got a Mars Hydro grow tent on the way 😂
This is my very first grow so I’m learning as I go. I live in a pretty remote part of the Northern Territory in Australia and honestly getting supplies out here isn’t always easy.
Sometimes shipping costs more than the actual product lol
My Mars Hydro 60x60x140 kit hasn’t arrived yet so I just put together a little DIY setup in the meantime.
She’s currently on day 6 since popping out of the soil 🌱
For the medium I went with 50% Earthcore Premium Potting Mix, 30% coco coir and 20% perlite. The potting mix contains composted pine bark, organic matter, added fertilizers and trace elements.
I sifted the potting mix before using it because there were quite a lot of big chunks of bark and wood in there. Thought a finer mix would be better for such a tiny seedling
I’ve already noticed 2 little roots starting to poke through the drainage holes which actually surprised me a bit 😅
So now I’m starting to think about what’s next, especially the next transplant.
I’ve been looking into CANNA Terra Professional quite a bit but getting a 50L bag delivered all the way out here costs a fortune… so I’m not really sure if it’s worth it or if I should just stick with my current mix, maybe without sifting the soil as much next time.
I’m also looking at CANNA Terra Vega and Flores for nutrients but still doing some research on that.
My goal isn’t really to get crazy yields, I mainly just wanna learn and understand how indoor growing works. I’d like to gain as much knowledge as I can along the way with this first grow.
Anyone here using regular potting mix instead of soil specifically made for growing cannabis? Would be really interested to hear your experiences and what you think about it.
I’m open to any constructive criticism or advice, whether it’s about the soil, my setup or growing in general!
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply 🌱🇦🇺

This is another one from Heisenbeans. I have yet to grow anything from the dude that hasn’t been pretty bomb. This one has great color, frost, and a loud skunky gassy nose with also some cologne kind of thing going on. I’m not sure why some people have a problem with Heisenbeans because he does solid work. I know it’s another polyhybrid with cookies and og in the lineage like everything else and I’ve been told it’s getting boring to see but I still really appreciate some matching that is visually stunning. I love growing old school stuff too like heirloom og/chem/sour cuts and breeders like Humboldt csi, top dawg, bodhi, lucky dog etc but I’m down af for anything as long as it’s dank!

To start, igfuti4.0 is from 8 different females being pollenated by 1 male in a single tent. Couldn't tell you what they all are as the gentleman that created them isn't even exactly sure anymore. Strain is the igfuti4.0 x igfuti4.0 from the 100 plant pheno hunt/breeding project from earlier this year. This time I started with 50 and of the 40 that popped these are the best females. Also did a varegated hunt with the batch I got from a varegated female of that same hunt. Of 50 I got 1 male and 1 female with the expression I'm looking for to use to make an f2 and from the regular lot I picked the best most badass male ive ever seen and the female I liked with the best nose and structure in my personal opinion to do the same. Enjoy! Pics will continue in the comments.

I vacuum sealed some dried buds and put them in the freezer, but I’m not planning to make dry sift hash until a few months from now.
I know people freeze their freshly harvested buds right before making hash, but is it also fine to keep already dried buds frozen for several months or is long-term freezing only really a thing with fresh frozen material?
Just wondering if I made the right call or if I should’ve stored them differently.

I've been PHing mine for a while. But I do remember growing one outside and just used hose water without PHing and it still grew really big. So now I'm just wondering if I'm wasting my time or if that was a fluke?
For context, my tap water comes out around 7.3/7.4

for context its been growing for like a year wuth big struggles throught but then i saved it and got it to a huge plant scared its rotting or moldy its gone through root burn nitrogen insufficiency and then i gave it fish fertalizer due to yellowing and this is happening i dont want to lose this plant though it would be a learning experience ive had mold in other types of grows it just sucks because it started budding and that has been exciting

Leaves have been small, warped, yellowing and having brown tips for at least a week. I tried to add nutes, monitor PH, measure PPM for nutrient excess or deficiency. Raising lights and spraying with foliar mixed with Grow Big and silica helped. Plant 1 appeared to have grown a couple inches over the week. Plant 2 seems stunted. Any ideas? Grow details in the comments.

Just trimmed my most recent grow and found a few spots of bud rot that I separated and tossed. Feeling a bit paranoid about the rest of the harvest now, although I've only been seeing some brown areas like those shown and not the clear mold filaments like in photos 5 and 10. Curious if folks would toss the rest?

When doing side lighting, is there certain watts i should be going for or will some? I was thinking about getting these.
