**Please help identifying a lost EA Sega Genesis poster from around 1991**

I'm trying to find a large, double-sided illustrated poster that came inside a North American or European Sega Genesis copy of *The Immortal* by Electronic Arts.

One side showed a bare, floating rocky island with a maze like building or temple, against a dark, cloudy sky hovering in a void or space. The words “Electronic Arts” appeared on that side.

The other side showed a very eerie, sad-looking troll or humanoid monster in shackles, trapped in what looked like an underground sewer or dungeon. It was looking upward through bars toward moonlight, with water around it. The artwork was dark fantasy, almost in a Frank Frazetta style.

Has anyone seen this poster, got a scan of it, or still owns a copy? I'd be incredibly grateful for any leads or photographs of the original insert. It might be original Gerald Chin Artwork for specific localization prints of the EA cartridge for the Megadrive/Genesis, some kind of limited edition Bonus(if there were any since most copies only came with a F22 poster) or even Exclusive Art signed at a convention!

There's a neat Easter Egg at 3:58, there's a little goat standing on a mountain. It's only in the SVP version of Virtua Racing, and it's hardly noticeable at the original resolution.

Hello, I'm finding some conflicting info as I'm trawling through years old discussions. I'm hoping someone could give me a definitive answer.

I've got a PAL Mega Drive 1 (pretty sure it's a VA6 motherboard), I've got it hooked up to a 4k TV through an OSSC with a decent RGB scart cable, all looks great so far.

However I'm picking up a flashcart with the intention of playing NTSC games and I'm planning on sticking to that region.

I've read up on region switching and come across some solutions.

The 1st was wiring in a 3 way switch but that appears to result in a slight miss-timing issue, though some accounts mention that using RGB scarts partially mitigates the issue? I presume they just mean the broken composite output but it could be worse things.

The 2nd would be a switchless 50/60Hz mod with a DFO included, this sounds like the best version. But I'm trying to keep costs down.

3rd I've also found a shop that sells an NTSC frequency oscillator. This would be the cheap option and would mean for now I'd be NTSC only, which I'm ok with.

Could someone in the know share some insight, it would help me out a lot, cheers!

Despite being Gen Z, the classic Sonic games were some of the most important games of my childhood and honestly my entire life. I finally made a retrospective exploring how they changed my life and the world, talking about Sonic 1, 2, CD, plus 3 & Knuckles. It ended up being close to 3 hours so anyone who loves long Sega videos feel free to give it a watch!!

Just another Streets of rage pcb I picked up. Board is darker than I’ve seen & the Sega lettering is black or appears that way.

I always want more Arkanoid-like games on Genesis. And now Claude made a really good port. What’s not fitted to Sega: backgrounds, music, stable 60 FPS with 8 balls and 7 enemies.

Then I have a question for the community. Sega can handle 60 FPS, but that requires dropping faithful PSX physics and the internal VM that’s used across the whole game and bosses.

I was able to fix the problem I was having originally with my cartridges, now all of them play and work flawlessly after giving them all a thorough clean, but now I’m dealing with another issue, I have no sound… I thought it might be because of the AV cable but attempting to replace that led to no real results so I think it might be a problem with the console itself, I don’t have the facilities to fix a potential audio chip problem, is there anything else that this could be? Or should I just bite the bullet and refund/get another console?

Ok, i don’t know what’s wrong, i can’t switch my console to japanese language meaning only the pal and the us position work, i’ve re-cutted the traces but nothing, is it because of my switch or something ?

My retrospective video review of all the Rambo games released. I grew up with with the early home computer and the Sega console versions. Also loved the arcades games too. However, not too fond of the later and more recent games. Most are pish. Let me know your favourite and I hope you watch and like my video too. It certainly took me flipping ages to make.

I recently purchased a used Sega mega drive 2 from a store that I frequent, the controllers were in rather bad condition and the console was a nightmare to actually work on my TV, but now the cartridge and the ones I just purchased are refusing to boot, they just get to the white text saying that this game was created or associated with Sega before then just going to a black screen, my copy of Aladdin doesn’t even do that it’s just a black screen regardless of how much I try to get it to work, the weird thing is that it was working before randomly freezing and then refusing to boot any cultures… I think I might just need to clean the contacts inside the console itself but I genuinely have no idea and I also don’t really have many other tools to fix any potential problems, and I don’t want to refund the console… What are my options?
