Theres 2 problems living in maricopa. I just turned 16 a couple weeks ago and have been looking for jobs the second I moved here 1.5 years ago, and theres no job opportunities here. Ive tried every place in the frys marketplace plaza, the bashas plaza, the Walmart plaza, AK chin entertainment circle...nothing. I cant make the 3 hour drive over to Chandler every day after school. Ive put in application after application, resume with it (though Ill admit I havnt done that with most places) and theres Nothing. I even tried the library and although I applied, I doubt ill get the job since theres so many applicants and tons of layers to it.
My 2nd problem is that theres no 3rd spaces, meaning free to hang out and actually have fun. The entertainment circle may have like 3 dollar movie ticket days or 10 dollar bowling days but that still costs money. There's no mall to loiter around, no stores to just browse and not get bored of...
I moved from a relatively large city so idk if I'm the problem or if others feel like this. Im used to having things to do and although there werent a ton of free things to do, but at least sitting and eating lunch with friends was an option.
