Other Map I built a 100% free, ad-free interactive world map for early learners (Age 3+): GeoLearn
Hi everyone,
As a parent and map lover, I got frustrated seeing almost every children's geography app filled with popup ads, trackers, and monthly paywalls.
So I built GeoLearn, a completely free and ad-free interactive world map for young explorers (Age 3+):
• Interactive World Map: Explore all continents with 195+ countries, flags, capitals, landmarks, and animals. • Tap-to-Hear Audio: Non-readers can tap any country or capital to hear clear voice pronunciations. • 100% Offline: Works anywhere without Wi-Fi or data (great for road trips and flights). • 7 Languages Included: English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. • Zero Ads or Purchases: 100% free and safe for little hands.
Free on Google Play (only 2.7 MB): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kids.learnworld
Would love feedback from fellow map lovers on features or details to add next!

Question I found this map in a zoo. What is it?
It looks like there are two many areas for it being a subspecies map or something of the sort and the highlighted places are verry randomly spread

Question What's your commute's sinuosity?
I recently learned about sinuosity, which measures how winding a route is compared to the straight-line distance between two points.
The formula is:
Sinuosity = Actual route distance ÷ Straight-line distance
For example, my bike commute to school is 6.8 km, while the straight-line distance is only 4.9 km.
My commute's sinuosity is 6.8 ÷ 4.9 ≈ 1.39.
I'm curious about everyone else's commutes! What's your sinuosity, and how do you commute (walking, cycling, driving, public transport, etc.)?
Bonus points if you have a particularly winding route!

Data Map Whats the history of your house?
Zillow tells you what your house is worth. I built an engine that tells you what your house is hiding.
When you buy a car, you check the Carfax. But when you buy or own a house, the biggest financial investment of your life, you’re completely in the dark.
You rely on a basic inspection and hope for the best.
I think that's completely broken.
So, I built a living 3D world engine that tracks the exact "medical history" of your home. By matching live weather tracks, historical climate impacts, construction permit databases, and property parcel data into a single 3D interface, I've mapped out exactly what has happened to your structure over time.
Here is what homeowners are finding when they drop their address into the platform:
• The Insurance Shield: Proof of exact micro-weather impacts to force insurance companies to actually pay out storm damage claims instead of denying them.
• The Pre-Buy Audit: Hidden historical code violations, unpermitted additions, or past structural complaints before you sign a 30-year mortgage.
• The Contractor Truth-Check: Knowing the exact square footage, structural height, and historical timeline of your property so contractors can never overcharge you for a repair.
I didn't build this with a billion-dollar corporate budget. I built this independently because homeowners deserve absolute authority over their data.
Stop guessing about your property. Your home has a story, it’s time you actually read it.

Current Map We’re mapping national parks around the world
We are building TravelerMap, a free interactive map to help people discover parks and plan trips.
Here’s our worldwide national parks map. We also have maps of other parks, with campground and parking locations currently available in the US.
What would make these maps more useful for your trips?

Old Map Old map of colonial Congo.
We were hired to clear out the attic of a school. I couldn't bring myself to throw this in the dumpster. It's an ugly part of my country's history, but history nonetheless and should be preserved. Hand painted map by R. Cremers. From the bit of info i found the map should date back from the 50's - 60's.
