I’ve been using a bronzer from Physicians Formula for a couple of years, but lately I’ve noticed that it’s starting to apply unevenly and look patchy even though I haven’t changed my primer or foundation. On top of that, the scent has begun to bother me so much that it actually makes me feel dizzy, and I’ve also noticed some small breakouts in the areas where I’ve applied it. Could you please recommend a good, fragrance-free bronzer that doesn’t go on patchy? I’m willing to invest in a good one!

To begin with I have dry skin and my undereye is pretty non-textured, skin wise but has hyperpigmentation which is not too dark ( light enough that it doesn't bother me day to day) and I have pcos, so I have hair on my chin which I shave religiously. This does leave a 5 o'clock shadow which I try to hide using concealer everyday. I do not wear foundation on a daily basis and would like to avoid it as long as I can.... as I enjoy not having to worry about my base.

Now my issue is I am on a hunt for a not transfer concealer for my chin and a 2nd hydrating concealer for my undereye. I have been using the nyx bare with me concealer on my chin but it leaves stain on every piece of clothing I have. I know I could use a setting spray( I need to look into that if nothing works out) I love the shade match and the finish of the nyx concealer but would love to find a transferproof one if possible for my chin.

My undereye kinda does well with a good concealer with good shade match. I do use bare with me and elf soft glam satin concealer. I particularly love elf one on me. I haven't gone into higher end concealer as I am scared out of mind to talk to the staff near those gondolas. They just make me anxious but I am looking into trying the glossier stretch concealer and the nars soft matte concealer as they seem to work well with my Minimal conceal correct and go sort of routine.

Please let me know if you guys have any experience with any concealers that do well in your opinion. Or any recommendations that would fit well. I have tried looking into forums before but the combination of dry skin , transferproof concealer that is not an undereye concealer hasn't gotten me very far.

Sorry if it was bit of a rant but I would really appreciate any help you guys can offer.

To summarise, recommendations for hydrating concealer undereye which doesn't crease and a different concealer for my chin that is transfer proof with a satin or dewy finish of possible.

I have a really hard time shade matching. I’m basically completely shade blind. I don’t know why, but it’s something I’ve ALWAYS struggled with. Foundation shopping has always been rough lol. I love love love the shade Happy but every time I use it, the next day I break out into a rash ring around my lips. Does anyone have a dupe for the shade? Would be really happy (ha!) for anything but especially if it’s a stain. Maybe it’s the plumping ingredients that my skin doesn’t like, I find it very tingly when I first apply it. Thanks so much!

i’ve seen most people use F2 for blush but it’s actually a bronzer brush. i’m deciding which one to buy, for the purpose of blush & highlighter. what do you think? or should i go for the Hourglass brush instead?

I never contour but I try it out sometimes when im bored. Why does my nose contour looks so off? I feel like I did the basic way most people do. Am I just not used to seeing myself with a chiseled nose 😂? I have attached a photo of my nose without contour as well for comparison

i love the elongated eye, makes it cunty in my opinion hehe. wore this to rupauls dj set and was loving my life!! this makeup lasted till 3am, the only part that had some smudge was where my glasses were (which is expected). glasses wearers, you understand (i put setting powder on where the glasses land to help a lil).

Drop 1-2 drops of eye drops or saline solution on your eyeliner pen’s tip & stroke lines against your clean, DRY hand. It'll start working again!

My eyeliner pens (Maybelline Hyper Easy, Wet n Wild Breakup Proof, Loreal Flash Cat Eye, Loreal Infallible) all seem to have their tips dry out long before the pen is actually empty. It seems to happen after I either erase a mistake w/ micellar water on a q-tip & then go back in w/ the pen or when I line over shadow.

Anyways, I tried writing on my hand & on a tissue, storing upsidedown for a couple days, shaking, all to no avail. Maybe u knew & I'm late to figuring this out but eye drops for the win lol.

(A lil bonus tip: I started using a piece of thin clear plastic from some random blister pack...I cut it into a 2" x 4" rectangle & use it to create a straight wing guide that speeds up the process & improves wing angle matching over freehanding. I make the wing's btm line & can freehand from there. Works where a credit card, eyeliner tool off Amazon, or the Loreal Flash Cat Eye pen tool failed for me bc 1) it's super thin plastic & 2) it's transparent so I can see above AND below the line I'm drawing. Some plastics are thicker than others so use a really THIN plastic & a straight edge w/ an x-acto knife or utility blade--not scissors--to cut it perfectly straight.)

Edit: 1 more tip that was v helpful once I learned it...don't connect your wing from the tip. Draw ur btm wing line then draw the top line 1/3 the way down from the tip. U can refine/adjust from there but it keeps the tip sharp.

Hi! I’m looking for a foundation with a similar formula to the original Estée Lauder doublewear. I am extremely pale — like literal corpse pale — with cool undertones. I wore shade 1C0 and it was nearly a perfect match, but their new formula is so much darker and more drying 🥲 I know there’s probably no true dupe out there, but I was hoping folks might have some suggestions for similar nice satin finish foundations that have a true ghostly pale shade. I have combo skin that gets oily on the forehead with some dry patches on my cheeks. I’m currently using the about face foundation in the palest shade, but it clings to dry patches I didn’t even know I had. Help!

KVD Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II. I have been chasing finding a dupe for this shade for years and I just found this one loose in the bottom of my old camera bag.

Currently weighing the pros and cons of putting it on after all these years 😅

Never used to wear eyeliner because all the tutorials I followed looked off on me, either they looked too harsh or they closed off my eyes. Tried it like this a few months ago and suddenly I like wearing eyeliner. I can even pull off some bolder colours now. But I’ve never seen anyone do it this way before, so now I’m wondering whether anyone else has tried this.

Edit: should add that the eyeshadow is always bright, light and shimmery. So the outer corner isn’t getting closed off the way it would with darker shadow.

No matter what foundation I use, my forehead looks crumby. What am i doing wrong? I have tried using moisturizer under and have tried mutiple different products. This is the L'oreal paris true match super blendable liquid foundation in shade 2N vanilla. Please give me tips and advice. Thanks!

I'm a very pale and cool-toned person, and love alternative and gothic looks! I was thinking since Halloween is near I might have luck finding these things 🤞

Things I'm seeking:

- matte gray eyeshadow, preferably true gray or slightly blue leaning but not full on blue-gray or denim

- cool, cherry or wine red eyeshadow in preferably both matte and shimmer/glitter but at least matte

- actually purple and pigmented lipstick, I'm ok with anything reaching from a lavender to a warm purple nearing burgundy or berry but still strictly in the purple side. Blue and green lipstick suggestions also welcome!

- a white-based light green shimmer/glitter eyeshadow or other powder product: basically white but with a ghostly lime glow. I think Essence had some superhero collab palette at some point with the exact shade I was looking for, but it got sold out before I could decide whether to buy it or not :(

- colourful glitter/shimmer eyeshadows, esp. Multichrome!! Or anything that works, rn I'm using Moira Cosmetics multichrome gel liners on top of eyeshadow but it's a bit tedious sometimes haha

- actually cool-toned contours and foundations. Rn I'm using Essence concealer in C1 as my base if I'm not doing a white base, but the stores near me only carry Essence foundations in neutral or warm shades, even everything by Lumene, a Finnish brand pulls too dark and yellow on me... For contour I'm rn using a Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palette (Reloaded Iconic 3.0) but I have dry skin so a cream or liquid contour might stick and blend a bit better.

- a gray-leaning or very cool brown lip liner, or an eye pencil/eyebrow pencil that could work that way! Rn I'm stuck using the Essence 8h Matte Comfort lipliner in the lighter brown, I couldn't find the shade name on the packaging... But it pulls peach on me and doesn't give quite that unnatural look I'm going for
