So, I kept coming across posts this month about how to emphasize brown eyes using color theory. Apparently burgundy/purple eyeshadow works best. Here's an attempt. I wore contacts to make the "brown" part of the look pop. 👀 Contacts are from Olens.
Decided to try a bolder smokey eye using a combination of burgundy and aubergine eyeshadow. Added a pop of gold/pink duochrome around the inner eye corners, and a green/purple duochrome gel liner on the lower lashes for contrast. What do you guys think?
P.S. I added a photo with flash so the contrast is clearer. My phone cam can't quite capture how intense the eyeshadow actually is in person.
P.P.S. This is a pre-shower makeup look so keep the expectations low. 😅
