Just faced a dude in brawl who had Loot as the commander clearly not attacking me and building a big board. He surrendered once i made 2 giant creatures but I wasn't going to attack so I could help him land the 7 mana achievement.

I had just completed it myself so I know how annoyingly hard it is.

So just don't surrender for any of the achievements you're doing. Some people are actually aware and will help you!!

We probably all have a list of cards that we will love to see go, but what card will you miss the most?

For me, it’s [[Mosswood Dreadnight]]. It’s so underrated. Yeah, it looks a little meh on the surface, but that works to its advantage. The recursion is what makes it awesome. Five for one is pretty common. I’ve gotten as much as nine for one. We trade. They use removal on it. Heck, I just chump block. Every time it dies I basically get to draw two cards, one of them being the Dreadnight itself.

As a free to play player, I am dreading the loss of this staple.

Edit: To be clear, it’s Dreadknight, with a k. I’m kinda pissed at myself for that mistake. I know the difference between night and knight.

I have a [Ygra, Eater of All] brawl deck, and opponents very often misplay her ward due to some confusion with the UI. If you don't know, her ward cost is sacrificing a food, and she makes all other creatures food.

When targeting her, the ward cost pops up then you have to click "resolve", THEN you choose a food/creature. I keep seeing opponents sacrifice a creature on their own by paying the 2 mana, then click resolve, but that doesn't count as paying the cost in arena.

Since its not a very common ward cost, and it would be easy to do on paper, I feel bad when people misplay it and either sacrifice two creatures or aren't able to pay the ward.

To be clear, if you just dont read the card, that's on you, but i do feel bad when its obvious someone just got tripped up by how the game asks you to pay the ward cost.

I purchased the reality fracture bundle for Pass and Booster.

However I noticed on my credit card statement that wizards actually charged me twice for the mastery pass bundle. Steam Support also confirmed I was charged twice.

Raised a ticket with support and I believe they said the pass bundles came with boostered and they have been opened. I am very confused, now I don't exactly recall how many booster there were, but my understanding is that those bundles are ONE TIME purchase? I couldn't possibly have purchased TWO pass bundle even if I wanted. What wizards support is suggesting basically is an impossible scenario correct?

What are my recourse to take this further? They have since then just closed my ticket. If they are going to charge me I should at least be charged to receive the product I paid for.

I keep seeing folks having difficulty with this achievement, and it was definitely the hardest one for me, so I figured I'd help with a tip. Nyxbloom ancient is your friend. Triples mana output, so you don't need a board of 7 different creatures, you can do it with 3.

By far my favorite way to play the game. All the flavor and art from the same set is peak. Quite random, but still skill based. It is rough that it is gems only and costs 2k gems while the winning rewards are less than premier draft's ratio. Bla bla bla "they have to make money" even though profit grows every quarter. If anything I think the price is keeping away people from spending money on something you get 1 chance on. It's my favorite format and I only do it once a set, then I premier draft like 20 times. Then I play standard/brawl.

A lower entry cost and better win rewards in ratio would probably go further. It's honestly not a great value for packs anyway. You have to win 70% overall to break even? I don't even follow streamers with those numbers. According to the MTG Arena State of the Formats, Sealed wasn't even mentioned. No idea what the ratio is, but to me it's the epitome of MTG.

I was mid game with someone when all of a sudden I couldn’t see any of my lands anymore, I could still use them. So i closed the app and reopened it to see it would reset. It instead crashed 4 times in a row. When i inevitably reset my device and tried again, everything jusy said rules text for some reason. Eventually the game crashed again and made me download a gig of who knows what before it decided to work. I love mtga but it can be so buggy sometimes lmao

I mean full on mill, no rogue shenanigans.

I just like playing mill.
