Maybe.
I call it as I see it.
I was called a dumbass (actually, that was one of the nicer things I was called) in 2020 also for holding to see what was actually going to happen.
Turns out, holding (or buying more, DCA to be specific) was the right move that time.
Back then, some other "dumbass" long posted something to the effect of:
"The manipulated share price does not indicate the value or prospects of the company and its technology, but shorts want you to think that it does, and dump your shares at the bottom. That is the means to the end they are trying to manifest".
Yes, it's a speculative investment, and yes, it has a risk of loss.
But then that outcome isn't guaranteed either.
Hence, I will wait.
You do you.
IMO. DDD.
Not investing advice, and I'm not an investment professional.

The purchase of Luminar with no real financial plan besides wiping out shareholders, when MVIS was already in a very very poor financial situation, then the corresponding share price fall, and reverse split and crap refinancing are Glen and the board's fault.
They stole / wiped out our investment through incompetence.
It does not matter if this company survives in some shape into the future. Anyone who owned shares pre-split were robbed and won't see any ROI.
Anyone who defends this company is insane.

I’m an idiot, I don’t hate him. I just think he is not the super genius the fanboys think he is. He is good at allocating capital and getting engineers to be excited about projects so they work their ass off and create amazing things. I guess he is a good capitalist, engineering manager and marketer. I do think his companies are vastly overvalued and think his political stances are abhorrent. Other than that I’m rooting for spaceX and electric vehicles in general but think he’s dead wrong on many subjects he over reaches on. But I don’t hate him.

Agreed that that last round of financing was on his watch. He should have known better and demanded a better option. His most glaring failure thus far. I got back in but for the wrong reason. Allowing that fiasco was a big red flag. I would like an explanation knowing it will not come.

I remember commenting at some point that I couldn't stomach the reverse split because I've been there before and shorts will just hammer us back to the same point. I was downvoted. It must have seemed negative and unlikely to some people....

That last round of financing for the 17 million is the thorn I cannot dislodge. I thought Glen would elevate MViS to a new level of respect and professional operations. I cannot reconcile in my mind why Glen didn’t tell HTC to f*ck off and find another option. Is that really the best we could get? That deal and the heavy shorting has the lingering scent of a rat somewhere on the inside.

Exactly. Need to start signing those deals and extending the current development ones to full production ones.

Money options should improve the more wins we can accumulate.

Would love to see you back one day, making back all that you lost. Let’s go Knicks!

Or some of us have DCA that are in the 20s now so stop talking shit maybe? This company is trash and we're almost to the same price prior to the split. Keep being a dumbass and lose all your money

Some grant money from the defense sector or partnerships with defense contractors/companies should be available, especially with the push for new defense technologies.

If we have revitalized relationships with CAT Kodiak and we have displaced Ouster from a defense project or two, then we might be undervalued at 34million MC vs Ouster 2B. I don’t know how SBA loans work for public companies, but if I had books like MVIS, they would have laughed me out of the building. Let’s get some grant money. Everybody loves free money. Still not sure why we haven’t announced a forklift deal🤣. If I was the SBA officer, approval would be contingent on that first forklift deal.

If I have to explain the joke, then you’ll never understand it🤦♂️

7% ? One day, it's a one day away. And it wouldn't be a very bad day considering it's MVIS.
It would absolutely shitty day for us, shareholders, but Microvision? Meh, they won't lose sleep over it. Most likely that's their "execution plan" going forward.

No, they can't do another RS unless they want to be delisted from NASDAQ.
