Is there any websites or YouTube video/ math videos that helps students learn mrus specific curriculum for math 0132? I’m just needing a better understanding

For everyone who dropped a class or two after paying your tuition, did you guys get your refund yet? I had to drop one (before sept 14) due to scheduling conflicts and I still haven’t received mine yet.

What is the problem these days with people meddling in others' affairs, repeating negative gossip without even knowing the person, and simply passing judgment based on appearances?

for mru bachelors of education - elementary the website says that the comp avg is 85-90 but i don’t know if its updated or not i feel like it might be low 90s

i applied for early adm fall 2026 but im afraid that my 2 group A classes with a comp avg of 86 isn’t good enough

ive also heard that for the first sem of grade 12 mru gets ur comp avg by avg out ur 2 group a classes for the first sem however im not sure if this is entirely true

i was wondering if any of u got in last year or recently and what ur comp avg was

Hi guys! Quick question for current or former MRU students (especially international ones).
I'm based in Brazil right now and working towards getting into the Bachelor of Nursing program at MRU. I know how competitive the grade cutoffs are for Bio 30/Chem 30, so I'm considering taking online upgrading classes through an Alberta institution (like RDP or similar) from home before applying. My plan is to crush Bio 30 and Chem 30 online, get my transcripts, and then apply directly to MRU for Nursing. Has anyone here done this while living overseas? Was it doable, and did MRU accept those upgrading credits without a problem? Any tips or experiences would be super helpful! Thanks in advance!

Hi, how are you guys studying for the test tomorrow? Ive covered lecture, modules, and videos hopefully thats enough. Is it possible that someone can send me their online notes as mine is handwritten?

Has anyone taken GNED 1403 with Kara Toews? How was the midterm and how did you study?

hi friends, i applied to MRU around two weeks ago and ApplyAlberta tells me that MRU has recieved my transcript.

on the other hand, when i check the future student portal, it says that it does not have my official transcript.

ill try calling them tomorrow morning, but other than that, does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi guys, Ive been sick the past few days and I am afraid I wont be able to make up for my shift tmrw I think It'll just spread infection to my patients as Ive been sneezing and been really nauseous. Am I able to make it up for it somehow

Anyone intrested in forming an LSAT study group ? My plan is to meet 2-3 times a week for an hour and work on LSAT questions together/individually to prepare for the January LSATS. I have LawHub Advantage but really need a study group to stay on track. I can print material for us to work on during our study sessions.

Hey. Some background is that I’m trans. Today I went into the change room of my preferred gender and someone reported me to the staff saying that I was a pervert trying to peek at people. No matter what change room I’m in, my eyes are glued to the floor because I don’t wanna see anyone’s bits. I feel gross that I gave off that impression. I obviously will use the change room of my assigned gender next time but is this something that I’m “perverted” for doing?

I’m hoping to do a short interview with a student for one of my class projects. Looking to talk for like 5-10 minutes with someone who has gone through the process of being accused for AI usage by a professor and the steps they had to go through to prove they didn’t.
Alternately, I’d also be interested to talk to someone who did use AI and got caught. To talk about what that process was like, why they decided to use it, etc.
Interview can be anonymous, use a pseudonym, or use your real name it’s up to you (I can also vocal pitch the audio to preserve anonymity).
I just need like one or two people, you can DM me, or leave a comment, with a little bit about what happened and I’ll reach out if it’s a good fit. Thanks!!

what should I expect on the midterm? i’m so nervous is it going to be confusing or straightforward?

Title. I can’t be asked to take another 8:30 class but if I really need it I will. If anyone did GEOG 2253 without the Intro please lmk how it went for you

I want to confess to someone but in order to do that I want to drink enough lagers at west social gate to the point where I’m not stressed or scared to say it to them. Do west social gate allow more than one lager? Anyone else done it?

We have our INBU 3301 midterm next week. All I know is it's MCQ and case based short questions. People say his slides are enough. Im just curious to hear from students who took INBU 3301 with Hedi, what was the focus for his Midterm / Final? Were the questions mostly definitions and concepts straight from the slides, or more application and case scenarios?

Any advice is helpful! Thanks in advance :)

For one of my classes I’m required to do a writing workshop so I’m doing Research Papers 101.

However I work 3 jobs plus school so I have very little free time. Do you have to be active and have your camera on in these workshops and be actively engaging? Or can you have your camera off and listen to them?

I really don’t have any time so this is very frustrating.

Mature male MRU student and regular Rec Centre gym goer looking for a workout partner. I’m into weight training. Age, sex, and experience don’t matter.” If interested, send a DM to check schedules and training styles.

Soo just wondering why MRU's business program is so ez to get in 😭 and also how come it accepts 30-2 math, Since UofC is much more competitive and it requires applicants to have 30-1 math. Just wondering as to why if anyone knows, and if the business program at mru is worth it or not!

So I want to get drunk before going into class and doing a presentation. Has anyone done it to feel less stressed. I understand it breaks the student code of conduct but what if no one knows?

Hi all! I'm a grad student with Athabasca University, but did my undergrad at MRU a few years ago. I remember how stressful uni can be and wanted to post here that I currently am taking on new clients as a part of my practicum! I have low cost options available ranging from free to $50 per sessions. There is no max number of sessions, so please reach out if youd like to chat!
