Lyft HQ Question Lyft vs uber drivers
Hello people
I recently posted asking about feedback of Lyft drivers about the app. I received many comments listing map issues, payment issues, taxes etc.
Since I’m soon gonna be behind the algorithm of driver earnings, I’ll also like to know or receive feedback from you guys on how any other driver app like hopp or uber are better or worse than Lyft?
I’m really trying to help you guys here, any feedback is appreciated.

Passenger Question Got picked up in a hoopty
This happened months ago here in Ohio, but I still think about it till this day. I called a Lyft, I don’t use it often, but I’m 5 stars and I always tip well. The picture showed me a newer model, but instead it was an older, shit box with no AC! It was hot that day so he had the windows down, but he did in fact get me to my destination safe. I didn’t complain and instead I gave him a positive review because you never know what a person is going through!
How is the driver getting away with driving the older model but a different; much older vehicle?

WTF? Why did driver obey wrong Lyft GPS and put us in danger?
Edit: The driver turned around to drive me back to the pick up spot instead of my destination when her GPS display malfunctioned. She put us in danger to do this. I yelled because she was driving dangerously, not taking me to my destination, and refusing to call Lyft while talking and texting on her phone.
Original post.
Two minutes into my ride on one of the busiest and most dangerous roads in NJ, the driver made an illegal u-turn, then stopped in the right lane when I asked what she was doing.
She pointed to her GPS, which had the address I was going to, but the visual map had her routed back to my house. She said I need to change the app to the right address. It was correct on my end. I showed her the route. I also showed her she had the same address in her phone, but the route was wrong. She still pointed and said he had to follow it. She did not speak much English and was texting this through a translation app (in traffic)
We sat in traffic for 15 minutes and she brought me home because she refused to disobey the app against all evidence. She was also done with the "loco" lady yelling at her.
I was pissed that she would follow an app to the point of putting us in danger and taking me home instead of to the address written on my phone and hers.
Lyft said they don't punish drivers for not following GPS. Is that true? She followed it like it was a god.
Tl/Dr: Driver put us in danger making illegal u turn and stopping in the road, the drove me home instead of too my destination due to an error in the Lyft GPS routing. Does Lyft punish drivers for not following GPS route even if it is wrong?
