Yesterday we pre-launched our Patreon, and we're at awe with the support. 50 people in 24 hs is a hell of a milestone for us. Thank you so much to this community for jumping in. We just can't believe this is happening, still. So many funder spots were taken already— we did not see that coming. And we're so thrilled to keep creating for you. All of you.

If you caught our previous posts about stepping away from corporate apps to build a creator-owned alternative: It's officially happening!

Today we start our milestone journey into our upcoming app: Do Not Disturb— a pure, human-made interactive story app with zero gems, zero paywalled choices, and absolutely no AI. Anywhere.

👥For those seeing us for the first time: We are a team of 20+ veteran writers, artists, designers, and VAs behind many of your favorite romance matches. After years of watching stories compromised by greedy paywalls and formulaic tropes, we walked away to build an artist-first studio.

🤔Where we are today? Per your request, we just pre-launched our Patreon, which will officially launch on Wednesday 21st. We can't do this alone, but we know we're not— we wouldn't have careers if it wasn't for you.

Hello, loves!

A week ago, we reached out to you letting you know who we are: Writers, artists, and voice actors behind a variety of romance apps (Love Link, MeChat, Winked, Romance Club, etc) We also let you know we were putting together a new project— a brand new romance app.

Let us tell you a bit more what we stand for:

NO AI 🚫: We're strictly against its use in the creative arena. You won't find it in our writing, art, not even in our emails.

NO Paywalls: No gems or coins needed— no blocked chapters. In all stages of our process (you may find the steps right here) we're sticking to a subscription model.

NO Tired Tropes: Tropes and archetypes are a lot of fun, and we do enjoy them. But that doesn't mean that we need to be lazy and over-formulaic about it. In our stories, you'll find complex, layered, messy people that cross the treshold from character into human.

We invite you all, once again, to follow our profile to stay in the loop. The prelaunch of our content hub is in only three days, and the full one in less than a week.

By now, you probably figured out that the dating-sim industry is winding down. If it's not taken over by AI, it's riddled with overly-smutty content and no real substance. But the people behind: Writers, artists, and VAs have much more talent than the industry allows, and it's getting stifled.

And so... we decided to get together with other people in the industry and do something about it: Create our own universe💫 so as to build our path towards launching our own app, where quality, depth, and talent are always put first. We can see this is what you guys want, too.

By now, I'm sure most of you know that dating-sim apps (Love Link included 😔) have closed their doors, one after another. And the ones that remain active seem to be increasingly replaced by AI, leading to massive layoffs.

We're some of the people that were left behind: Writers, artists, voice actors. And we've decided to get together and do something about it: Build our own universe 💫

With permission of the subreddit, we're here to invite everyone who wishes to follow our profile to keep in touch with us, and therefore our progress on this new dating-sim and novel site project.

Now that the game is no longer supported, that doesn’t mean we can’t continue to share our memories and enjoyment of this game! For me, I loved Skylar, Rory, Jonathan & Franz!!! Those boys were amazing.

I haven't played in awhile but I randomly got the urge just now. Saw it wasn't uploading. After a few tries, I went to see it on the app store if there was any recent update, but nothing ofc, and then finally I thought I'll probably find an answer on reddit and here it is ... A little bummed since some characters were really nice and interesting, it's a bit sad to know I'll never see them again... I'll remember their faces 😭

I generated the full body characters with AI, just to fill in a part of the imagination. It still looks pretty good.

It’s nothing too crazy. Just some cute little fan-made faux pearl earrings ❤️.

I guess I just really miss this game and wanted to find little ways to carry a piece of the game with me.

Metal components are mostly stainless steel, with the exception of the pendant bails attached to the faux pearls. I’m not sure what that is.

Pearls feel to be some type of plastic.

I’m not sure what material the gold tone plating is either.

I hope this is okay to do, but would any other Lovelink fans like a pair?

I had enough material to make 5 pairs of earrings. One pair is for myself. So 4 pairs for other people.

I am giving them away as free gifts. They would also include a variety of earring backs.

Also, I want to apologize. Unfortunately, I only have the kind for pierced ears. So sorry 😞.

I made a matching necklace too. 5 total, one for myself and so 4 available for other people.

The necklace doesn’t show up in the game, but I made it anyways. I mean, it’s kind of cute haha☺️.

I can also include the necklace alongside the earrings for if people want it. Or the necklace on its own for if you can’t wear the earrings.

I know nothing will ever replace Lovelink 😭 but I just got an email for an upcoming game and noticed a very familiar style of artwork…. Also the premise is dating supernatural beings… and self-care somehow? It’s not even in early access yet but I REALLY can’t wait to check it out further.

Anybody know somewhere you can look up to see what happened in some of the characters' stories? there were a couple I never got around to playing and wondered how it went. (Hugo and Ryan specifically) Thanks in advance if ya know!

To give back to this lovely community, would anyone want images in high resolution? I don't think we can do a big dump, that would sadly be too much, but if you have any request i will try to provide! I am genuinely sad to see this game officially go, it was an amazing project...

As everyone knows Locelink is officially gone and it's sad. I told my friend about it she told me there was a Google drive with the CGs , so I want to share it in case no one knew about it. I don't know when it was updated so that might be some people missing.Link will be in the first comment

Was the best app🥰 Almost finished all my matches. Dialogues was great, MC had nice dynamics with every match, even if u didn't pick payed options u still acted like u r interested. It's wasn't pay to be nice or act bratty. Loved art style. Matches on dates actually looked like they looked on pics. Ik that there's at least 2 different apps with same idea, but they're not Lovelink and won't replace it🥺

As I was browsing the internet, I came across an artist’s portfolio on ArtStation where they posted art that they have created for Lovelink.

According to the website, the artist is called Kristele Pelland. Not only do they have a good amount of Lovelink artwork, you can also see their other artwork too ☺️!

Gentle reminder: They do have links attached to their ArtStation page, where people can contact them through. Out of respect for them, let’s try to avoid contacting them, particularly regarding things they don’t have control over. Not including professional inquiries and normal social media interactions of course(liking posts, complimenting art in the comments, etc).

Maybe other people have found this website already. But in case there are people who don’t know about it, I wanted to share this information here.
