A question megathread will be stickied to the top of our subreddit every Tuesday to catch all of your questions, big or small.
Do you have a question about the Underground, or maybe even the greater London network? Ask it here and our knowledgeable community will endeavour to answer it. Last week's iteration can be found here.
Please note that going forward, all questions posted outside of this thread will be moderated away/deleted.

Enjoy these two angles of a 1992TS (Central Line) as it’s lifted for some work

Saw another recent post of a sunset and tube station so just thought I’d share this one I took in February. Plus I quite like the history of the architecture behind Charles Holden’s stations from Wood Green to Southgate (the round art deco vibe). Anyway, Happy Friday!

I shoulda asked in person but alas did not.
EDIT: his name is Dave and he’s in a band called SLEAZE. They’re playing a charity gig today at the King of Stars pub in Kings Cross! In support of a local food bank.

I'm sure a lot of us here have grabbed 2 tube maps when they come out to join in with Geoff Marshalls game of seeing how many stations you can tick off in a year. I absolutely did, and decided I wanted to make an app to track it. So after talking with Geoff himself about the app idea it's grown from there. I've added step-free only versions, US states, Glasgow SPT, Tyne and Wear Metro, and have many more to come.
The app has been through testing, but what I really would like now is people with elite level knowledge of the TFL network to test it and pull me up on my mistakes. People who know that Charing Cross used to be on the Jubilee line, that Hammersmith is 2 separate stations, what year the Battersea extension opened, and when Shepard's Bush Market gained the Market.
If you'd like to have a look and test it you can download it from the Play Store (no iOS just yet) and report any issues or suggestions on the Google Group.

I used to take either the C or D Stock with my dad to get a friend's or family member's house! those trains make me feel like a kid again. What trains do you guys miss?

I was going through some things from old travels and noticed this. My searches turned up info about the Orange national rail ticket serial numbers but not anything about the old underground tickets. Now that everything is tap to pay, I doubt these types of tickets are used much anymore, but I’m curious to know if this ticket is special in any way.

Makes sense if the Northern Line extend to Kingston?

Rant but the Bakerloo Line stock are pushing 60 years old, they've been around far too long and the Government needs to actually just shut up and give TFL the money to get new ones because this is is ridiculous and the fact that i've seen people defend this train is crazy to me, lemme put this in perspective this would be like having a train in 1972 (the year that stock came) from the year 1918, that's crazy... like what is it gonna have to take for them to be like okay lets give TFL the money, is a freak accident gonna have to occur?? I hope it doesnt but it wouldnt surprise me if the government lets it get that far

Does Victoria Line and Bakerloo need extension for the new underground.
