Privileged to have lived on Isabela island, Galápagos the past two decades
Casa Rosada, the Pink Iguana House/Bar, had evolved into stewards of the only Marine Iguana Sanctuary, that I am aware of.

Hey Reddit, there is a lizard that's somehow gotten into my bath tub drain. it's been in there for days and won't come out. I have been afraid to shower as I don't want to kill it. I can't get into the drain as the cover is painted over. Any ideas on how to get it out? When I go into the bathroom, it runs back to hide but I never see it come out. in the past smaller ones have gotten out but never this big. Bad picture included. Tried to see if it would bite a Q-tip and it would be able to be carried out, but that was dumb and of course didn't work.

I have an Ackie who is just about 2 years old in a 4x2x2 PVC enclosure with mesh top. This is a new habitat for him as we had to get rid of his old 2x4x4 that we had built ourselves, when we moved recently.
I am looking for advice on setting up his heat and UVB. I currently have a 22" t5 UVB in a reflective hood outside the mesh on the warm side. Should I move it inside ? Is that sufficient UVB?
For heat, I used to use Arcadia 150W Halogens mounted inside in a large domed reflector hood. They don't appear to make the 150s anymore, only up to 100w. Is that sufficient? What Wattage of bulb should I get, and about how far away should I mount it from the main basking spot? I have a temp gun, but I need to know what to buy and how best to set it up in the first place.
I think I want to cage the bulb as well, and I know that reduces the heat and light output by about 40% I think.
Any and all advice for this situation is appreciated, thank you!

I was going to post one photo, but then I found so many from over the years and got a little carried away!
These are mostly from our yard in Austin, Texas.

This little guy was really cute and caught my eye, I didn't want to scare them off so I took far away pictures and then a video. The growth is not a stick or foreign object stuck on them, it also appears like the tail is stiff. Do you think it's a birth mutation or a tail regrowth one?
I don't know the species but there are hundreds in my community and they all have wispy long tails that bend.
All but the first are screenshots from the video and I circled the lizard as he runs around the tree showing it's fully part of them.
I just thought it was neat and I hope you do too :)
