What gives you Dolly cleavage?

Figured this was the right sub to ask! What do I buy to get Dolly Parton-style cleavage?

I’m going as the one and only Dolly Parton for Halloween, specifically her look on the cover of Backwoods Barbie. I am around a 36D. I only own standard VS bras. What do I need to buy to get that over-the-top (literally) cleavage look to properly honor Dolly? I don’t think a standard push-up will give me enough drama. What style/brand do people use to get that look?? Thanks in advance!

Custom fit stockings or stockings that come in more then one size?

We have tried several different places for stockings. My wife is not plus sized but has thicker thighs and butt. We struggle to find stockings that are comfortable and do not totally cut off circulation. Specifically we are looking for thigh highs to go with garter belts. Any recommendations would be great!

Edit: For a good pair that fits and is quality we would spend 35-50.

Hi! Does anyone know what happened to the high waisted briefs that Monki used to make? They were my favourite and I haven’t been able to find them for so long! I was hoping maybe some of you knew what happened <3!

F21; looking for recs

hi! i want to start buying nicer pieces, and perhaps be more "sensual"! looking for any reccomendations

extra info:

- i'm autistic so stuff that's extra tight or lack coverage down there (no g strings and whatnot) are a no go

-my main bras are all from vanity fair in 38D.

- ive bought maybe one VS bra(38DD) and underwear, thought it looked nice.

- i like light blues and pinks. pastels. i guess cutesy things(however, i'm quite muscular in the shoulders and arms and wide in the hips. i'm a bit of a gym rat.)

- $$ range of $50-$150. i probably won't spend 200+ on lingerie right now, and i want pieces i can keep!

F19 I have never owned anything other than basic underwear (other than sports bras, and seamless thongs). Looking to maybe buy some pieces to help feel a little sexy for myself… what brands or items might you point me to?

I have some self image and self esteem issues… not really linked to my actual body (I’m in okay shape), but just how I feel about myself.

I think maybe doing some things like this for me (chances are anyone else sees anything is basically nonexistent) might help.

Really open to any suggestions… I can list my measurements if that helps or is something you guys would need!?

Let me know?

Bra size: 34DD (more of a rounded teardrop shape)

Budget:$75 and under per piece? (Not sure if that’s the way to say it 😭)

Honey Birdette

I'm looking for different lingerie options for my wife and I'm curious if Honey Birdette is worth the price? There is a mall fairly close (with 2 hours) that has a Honey Birdette store and I want to take the wife on a shopping spree. Is their lingerie worth the money?

Lounge - shipping nightmare

Hi everyone

I had ordered some things for an anniversary gift. Nearly 15 days have gone by with no update on what’s happening. USPS does not indicate they have the package, and Australia Post shows that it is “in your country” but the dates are all messed up. The tracking number I was given from lounge doesn’t work when typing it in either. I have contacted them several times, only to be met with no help whatsoever, instead vague mentions of the items being destroyed by customs if I don’t pay import fees. I have yet to be contacted by anyone about import fees, so the whole thing is making me crazy. Has anyone had such an experience with this company? Did you have to pay import fees for shipping to the US? Will the items just magically appear weeks from now? Really upset with the whole situation.

Lingerie for girlfriend crotchless

We’ve been looking for a few years now off and on for good quality crotchless panties. We’ve found a few pairs from multiple places but they are all just too close too her actual pussy. We’ve only found a few different styles (lace patterns) but they just don’t quite seem to be what we are looking for. Any suggestions on brands or websites would be awesome Tia!

Looking for 90s minimalist bra recommendations (wireless / lightly lined)

Hello! I’m looking for some bra recommendations.

I finished breastfeeding my lo a few months ago and I’m ready to replace all my pre-baby bras! I used to wear Uniqlo non-wired bras, but now I feel like wearing proper ones.

I’m not a big fan of underwires, so I’m mainly looking for non-wired/wireless bras. However, if it’s a really comfortable and supportive wired bra, I’m willing to give it a try! Also, I prefer something without too much push-up padding.

Here is what I’ve been looking at so far:
- Intimissimi Gioia
- VS Lightly Lined Wireless T-Shirt Bra
- VS Flex Factor Balconette Bra
- Skims T-Shirt Bra
- Cou Cou Intimates The Petite Bra

I really like a 90s minimalism vibe (clean lines, simple cut, soft fabrics etc).

Does anyone have experience with these, or have other recommendations that might fit what I’m looking for? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Looking to surprise my significant other for our anniversary with something special...Please advise! ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶

Given his taste I think he would love soft pastels, flowers, frills, intricate embroidery, coquette-ish designs. I am looking through past threads but would really appreciate any comfortable and high-end brand suggestions that have worked for you. Price range not an issue but preferable if the set is solid quality for the price point. I am roughly 30D. Thank you!

any recommendations with strings

hi! i bought a pack of strings in H&M few days ago for the first time in my life and i have a problem. it’s suits perfectly, but when i sit , i feel that they are being stretched tight in the ass. its not super painful, but i feel an irritation when i sit for a long time. i bought right size and it suits not super tight, only when i sit , it irritates me.
i find strings amazing, because they don’t ride up your butt like regular underwear, but this don’t let me completely enjoy them.

maybe u have good recommendations, which brands of strings i could try? please if u have some comfortable suggestions, let me know🙏🏻

Looking for a black lace lingerie set with a connected choker and harness/garter detail

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to identify the brand or designer of a lingerie set I’ve seen.

It is a black lace set that features a built-in strappy harness system. It includes a choker/collar around the neck, with a central strap and chain that runs down the torso. This strap connects to a multi-tiered waist harness, which then extends down into garter straps that wrap around the thighs.

Does anyone recognize the brand, or know where I could buy this exact set (or something very similar)?

Thank you so much for your help!

For the Apron Belly

To feel my most confident I like to have lingerie that gives me comfortable coverage of my stomach. I've had two kids and its just my most self conscious area so tiny string thongs or ultra high cut body suits just show case the area in all the wrong ways.

What are some good brands or styles that are stomach friendly. I also really prefer to keep them on during sex so a body suit doesnt really fit the brief. I have plenty of baby doll styles I was hoping to branch out.

Would love some recs on styles or brands to look into

Recommendations for good quality latex or leather lingerie/accessories?

I've been really wanting a nice latex or leather catsuit as well as thigh highs, long gloves, lingerie, etc. Some options with an open crotch would be nice as well. Anything with chains or belts is a plus too!

As a former professional bra fitter, I am so exhausted by the fake “inclusivity” of big brands (VS, Savage X Fenty, etc.)

Hey everyone,

With the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show right around the corner, it’s been on my mind a lot. I’m definitely planning on watching it, because why not, it’s always something I look forward to, but as a former professional bra fitter, I know I’m going to be sitting there just thinking about the fit of the bras from an anatomy and mechanical standpoint. I am just so incredibly tired of watching these mega-brands pull the wool over women's eyes in the name of "inclusivity."

My biggest issue is the massive disconnect between corporate marketing campaigns and the reality of what these brands are putting on women's bodies. They win all this social media praise for using diverse models, but their sizing methods and garment engineering are still stuck in the dark ages.

Take Victoria's Secret. They push "body positivity," but their stores still use the flawed +4 measuring method just to mathematically force women into the narrow B–DDD size matrix they actually stock on their shelves. They are literally gaslighting customers into buying a band that is way too big and a cup that is way too small just to make a sale.

It is genuinely so annoying how many of my own friends I’ve had to step in and correct because they've been fooled by this. I have literally had friends who are a tiny UK size 6 look me in the eye and tell me they are a 36A just because Victoria's Secret fitters told them so. A 36-inch band on a size 6 frame! It makes absolutely no architectural sense, and it’s a shame to see so many women walking around with zero actual support because they trust these "experts."

And don't get me started on brands like Savage X Fenty. They claim to be the ultimate inclusive alternative, but they are just scaling up fast-fashion patterns without actual structural engineering. An H-cup requires completely different wire arcs, fabric tension, and side-boning than a C-cup. You can't just slap extra fabric on a flimsy pattern and call it support.

But what drives me absolutely insane, and what I see everywhere online now when I'm ordering a new set for myself, is how these brands photograph their models. Half the time, the model is wearing a brand-new bra fastened on thetightest hooks. As anyone who knows anything about bra fitting can tell you, you are supposed to buy a bra that fits comfortably on the loosest hook so you can move inwards as the elastic naturally stretches over time. Fastening it on the tightest hook on day one cuts the lifespan of the garment in half, and it's usually just a lazy photoshoot trick to mask the fact that they put the model in a band size that is way too large for her.

It's just exhausting to see performative marketing winning over actual technical design, leaving women paying premium prices to be uncomfortable.

Does anyone else get irrationally angry seeing these ad campaigns? What are the worst fitting offences you’ve noticed from these "inclusive" brands lately?

(sorry, i'm just so passionate about this, I think us ladies deserve the best, my friends think I'm crazy. I've bra fitted ladies with masectomies, ladies who have just given birth, young people and elderly too, and I the only reason I'd ever suggest VS is for aesthetic purposes —> I do think their bras are gorgeous and I will be tuning into the show, it’s just a shame that it isn’t as inclusive as said to be, nothing against the workers at VS either!)

FOLLOW UP!!

Here is my quick checklist of 8 pointers I always tell people to check when diagnosing their own bra fit

1. The middle should lie as flat as possible on the sternum. (Obviously with the bigger sizes complete flatness is not always possible, but it shouldn't float completely).
2. The band at the back should be straight and inline with the front. It shouldn’t feel like the band at the back is going halfway up your back—that actually makes you hunch over!
3. If you pull the band at the back and it stretches greatly away from your spine, it’s way too big.
4. When the band is fitted, it should feel snug and firm NOT TIGHT. This is normal for new bras; you don’t want them too loose otherwise they wear too quickly and you’ll be back getting a new one in no time.
5. The metal wire should never sit on the side of your boob tissue; it should sit flat on the bone.
6. When you lift your hands up, the bra shouldn’t lift with you and reveal lots of underboob. It should stay firmly anchored.
7. Avoid washing bras in the washing machine! The elastic expands and breaks, which causes that annoying fold-over effect in t-shirt bras. If you absolutely must wash it in the machine, do it cold or in a proper bra bag!
8. And please, don't make the straps too tight just to compensate for an ill-fitting, loose band!

I HOPE THIS HELPS XX

Is Black Friday actually a good time to buy bras?

I need to replace a couple of my bras soon, but Black Friday is close enough that I’m thinking I should probably just wait. I’ve never really paid attention to bra sales around Black Friday though, so I have no idea if the deals are actually that much better than usual.

For now I’m just trying not to buy anything and hoping waiting pays off

Luxury bridal lingerie for small-band-large-cup UK

I'm looking for a bustier to go under my strapless wedding dress.

I am a UK 30FF and absolutely love Harlow and Fox, but unfortunately they don't provide any strapless styles.

I struggle to find my size.

If anyone in the UK can recommend either online or in-person (I'm willing to go anywhere in the UK/ireland) I'd be very grateful!

Tia x

Recommendations for 100% cotton string bikini underwear?

Preferably cheaper than Negative?

More specifics: I'm hesitant to order from Voight since they don't allow returns, so curious if anyone can comment on their quality? And I don't love the cut of the Jockey string bikinis, prefer something a bit slinkier/cheekier.

Also, less than 100% cotton is okay if the gusset is 100%.
