Yesterday, I had another chance to help a new neighbor from Canada who discovered JC Express Services!

He reached out to ask if I could deliver a sofa for him. Since he is new to the area and doesn’t have a vehicle yet, he also asked if I could pick him up from work so we could go together to the seller. No problem!

I picked him up around 6 pm, and we headed to the seller’s place. When we arrived, I introduced myself and told the seller about JC Express Services. He was happy to hear about my business!

While we were there, I asked the seller about a brown couch, and he told me I could take it. I explained that I didn’t need it, but asked if I could take a picture and share it in case someone else could use it. He said yes!

Recently, someone reached out to me to ask if I could pick up her aunt in Wellington and bring her to Lexington, along with a few items.

It was a little different from what I usually do, but that is the thing about JC Express Services! I offer a variety of services, and I am always open to helping when I can!

I asked her to send me a picture of the items so I could see what needed to be moved. After seeing that there was not much to transport, we agreed on the price. I decided to use my SUV instead of the van since it was more than enough for the job.

So, I headed to Wellington! On our way back to Lexington, we had a really good conversation. She was so happy and kept thanking me, and honestly, that made my day.

This is one of the things I enjoy about what I do. Every job is different, and sometimes, you get the chance to help someone in a way you didn't expect.

Leia is the kickass lead singer, sporting ripped plaid leggings and a pair of (what else?) red Doc Martens. Luke and Han Solo blow the audience away with their amazing guitar riffs, while bassist Darth Vader leaps off the drum platform, brandishing metal horns in his outstretched arms. 🤘🤘 R2 and 3PO showcase their electronica skills on the the synth and keyboard, as Chewy wields his drumsticks above his head, ready to bring what has apparently been an amazing show to its conclusion.

I'll be perfectly honest, I don't consider myself a Star Wars fan; but when I came across this poster about 15 years ago, I thought it was SO creative and well-done that I had to get it. The attention to detail (from the faces in the audience to the instruments & outfits) is honestly amazing.

The frame is lightweight gray plastic with acrylic/plexiglass. There is a small crack in the "glass" near the top (see 2nd photo).
