I shared some pictures of J5MOC here a few days ago. This time I made a short rendered tour to show him from a few different angles and get closer to the details.

Designed in BrickLink Studio, prepared for rendering in Mecabricks and rendered in Blender.

I don't usual make vehicles anymore, but I felt inclined to. I've seen a decent amount of these on my feed and wanted to get in on the action.

This is J5MOC, my own LEGO model of Johnny 5 from Short Circuit.

The render shows the same model in three poses. The body can be adjusted to sit lower or stand taller. The eye flaps move, the head turns and tilts, and the arms can be posed too. There are plenty more functions beyond these.

What would you like to see up close?

I honestly didn't think I could pull it off, but I wanted my Tactical Interceptor to match the scale of my green spaceship. So I challenged myself to recreate the design at a smaller scale. Here's the result!

Finished the full Deep Space Nine set.

Sisko, Kira, Jadzia, Worf, Bashir, O'Brien, Odo, Quark and Garak, all in BrickHeadz-style.

I tried to give each one something that made them immediately recognisable, so there’s Sisko’s Niners cap, Jadzia’s bat'leth, Kira’s raktajino, Worf’s bloodwine, Bashir and O'Brien’s racquetball racquets, Odo’s bucket, Quark’s latinum and dabo chips, and Garak’s tailoring gear.

Really happy with how they look together as a group.

Revamped, repaired and ready to be displayed next weekend!

Crown Magnetar - Godkiller

UPDATE -This will now be on display at the Great Train Show at the Oakland Expo Center in Waterford, MI next weekend!

A small, fast, and highly maneuverable fighter that relies on agility and precision to take down its enemies.

It's a variation of my previous Scout Interceptor. I think I managed to refine the design even further this time.

What do you think?

This is one of the walls for the Veinhart Soul Engine and Swarm Core. I'm repairing the walls since the build will be on display one last time this year, in a few weeks. I'm enjoying what I have accomplished so far.

My vision of ATHENA rendered in brick!

Two builds for my new realm, The Living Foundry.

I’ve finished my full Star Trek: The Next Generation BrickHeadz-style crew, with Picard, Riker, Data, La Forge, Beverly Crusher, Troi, Wesley Crusher, Guinan and Worf all together.

I wanted each one to feel recognisable as the character, rather than just as a Starfleet uniform, so a lot of the fun was in choosing the small details and accessories that people would actually associate with them. Some are obvious, like Riker’s trombone, Worf’s bat'leth and Data with Spot, while others come from more specific moments in the series, like Wesley’s Ktarian headset from The Game or Picard’s Ressikan flute.

They were designed as a group, so I also spent quite a bit of time making sure they felt consistent beside each other rather than like nine completely separate builds.

Really happy to finally have the whole Enterprise-D crew finished.

This build was inspired by discovering a small dump box piece while sorting. 4 hours later I created this. I wanted to discipline myself and stick with a small color palette. It's basically a corrupted construction mech. 😜😁
