Me and my wife are hiking enthusiasts and try to be out as much as possible. Here are some analog 6x6 frames from our journeys.

I made this landscape photo to capture the bristlecone pine trees in the scene. As luck would have it, I discovered a deer standing beneath the front-left tree, which I didn't notice when I made the original photo.

Bristlecone pine trees are the oldest known non-clonal living organisms on Earth, with individual trees living for over 5,000 years. I think the oldest trees in this forest at the base of Mt. Blue Sky range between 1,500-2,000 years old though. There are bristlecone pines in Colorado that date back 2,400 years (442 BC)

Took these yesterday, me and my wife didn't really plan out our day trip here. Wanted to capture Yosemite before winter hits and while fall is dying down.

A Walk in the Woods

The Fall colors are really starting to show now. The recent cooler temps will help that to continue as we head towards the end of October. Shot with the Sony A99II and CZ 24-70 f/2.8 lens, camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head with a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.
