Raw Spoilers Kingdom 891 spoilers Spoiler

Arabic: https://3asq.online/manga/kingdom-2/891/

The chapter is a flashback, of course Ganmon shows up, Reiboku comes and talks to Kabin, and we get a glimpse of his savage past back when he was a fighter

A fighter in the Motarde that kinda resembles Shibasho a bit, and the page is bloody honestly, something from the good old days

There is a chapter next week (not sure about magazine breaks and holidays but no break from the note at the end of the chapter)

Manga Spoilers What is your favorite chapter or episode in kingdom?

Want to know what is the best chapters or episode people enjoy the most, mine is chapter 631 when shin is in limbo and Hyou returns. My favorite episode might be yo tan wa and the mountain folk saving Qin from Zhao in the coalition arc since I really like the mountain folk. I would probably have liked bao jio vs ran Kai episode if the episode wasn’t cgi from back then and had the animation it has now

Manga Spoilers A possible plot for Chapter 888 situation Spoiler

This is how I'd like the story to go which it definitely won't, lol. It's mainly a re-hash of all the dramas that I've watched and read.

  1. Current situation: Kaine is in the prison cell with Ten. Some of her trusted men went back to her army to rally the men.
  2. I could see Fu Tei taking his best men and some of her best men like commandoes and infiltrate the city and prison to save Kaine.
  3. Kaine insisted to bring Ten along which they begrudgingly agree after some arguments.
  4. They were about to get out of the city, but was surrounded by Chou Kotsu and his army (sudden appearance, Hara's favorite)
  5. Some of Kaine men died at the initial clash, and Fu Tei is gravely injured.
  6. Chou Kotsu ordered to arrest all of them and said they have committed treason by saving the enemy, and by extension RBK has also committed treason, and said this should be enough for Kaku Kai sama or something along the line.
  7. Seeing Kaine crying at her men dying and RBK about to be blamed for the whole thing, Ten thought of how Kaine is about to lose her family again, and said the only way out of this is for Kaine to kill her.
  8. This way: their charges should be reduced for insubordination, and RBK should be politically safe, can be defeated in battlefield honorably by Shin.
  9. Kaine hesitated, but went ahead with mercy killing Ten.
  10. Before being killed, Ten gave Kaine something, and said some secret phrase, and said if she is in needs of a home, seek Hi Shin unit.

---

RBK historical stuff happened. Maybe he made a bargain to surrender himself if his retainers are released unharmed.

---

  1. Kaine was released initially till Kaku Kai found out she's pregnant with RBK's blood. Now she is being chased, and only Fu Tei was helping her. The rest were already exiled back to Ganmon and unable to help them.
  2. They went to Hi Shin, some drama about not accepting enemy and along the line started.
  3. Shin took them in after hearing the story, and Ten's 2 factor authentication.
  4. Kaine said she won't participate in Qin's wars, and her only obligation is to protect Ten's home in her honor.
  5. She could become purely defensive general where, in future battles, someone breaks through the bulk of HSU only to find out Kaine is there.
  6. Fu Tei was blinded by hatred of losing RBK and being betrayed by his own state.
  7. He blamed every state: Chu for failing at coalition, Yan for repeatedly attacking Zhao, indirectly helping Qin's during WZI, Qi for sending supplies, Wei for sitting on their hands when Qin was vulnerable during WZI and other situations..
  8. "If I can't destroy Qin, I'll help Qin destroy everyone, and destroy Qin at the end", and could become a wing commander.
  9. HSU becomes - left wing: Yoko Yoko, right wing: Fu Tei, center: Shin with So Sui or one of the veterans as vanguards, HQ: Shin, rearguard/logistics: Kaine, Strategist: someone new or Ma Ron

Discussion Up to date I still think that shin is just a glorified commander not a general, he just carries the title but Karyo Ten does the heavy lifting and does what a general do.

So I never accepted that shin actually became a general no matter how the manga, anime or the live action tried to justify it by calling them "instinctual generals" , shin is literally just a glorified commander that holds a title he doesn't deserve, I would've thought he at least learned something by training under Ouki but no he learned nothing, his entire persona is literally just him being a Frontline commander, meanwhile he dumped all the work he should be doing to Karyo Ten, Kyou Kai and all his lieutenants, my common sense just won't let me recognize shin as a General if all his actions mirrors a commander, he's a fun character but calling him a general is just absurd to me and I'll always call him a glorified commander, he can hold the title but it doesn't mean he deserve it.

Discussion What do you guys think?

Post image
22 Upvotes

Besides plot armor, do you think if Han Oki had committed his entire 30k force to repelling Shin at the river bank instead of sending Duke Juuteki’s detachment that Ryofui would have been able to obtain the Qin Kingdom for himself? I feel like it should be enough of a numerical advantage with advantageous terrain for them to have won and then events would unfold as Ryofui had predicted. I guess the queen mother could come out on top, but I think once Ryofui declared her army as a rebel army the royal seal wouldn’t really help her and Mou Bu would crush them. Thoughts? I know it’s a really old chapter but I had this thought on a re-read

Manga Spoilers Riboku ; a humble great general Spoiler

Hahaha, isn’t it incredible? I’ve mentioned this before, but the legendary Great General Riboku, known throughout China as the top strategic mind, still remains surprisingly humble. Unlike Ouki, Kanmei, Gyou’un, Karin, and Man’U, who usually have private elite bodyguards, Riboku stands out by choosing protectors from humble backgrounds. Most notably, he chose goat herders from the remote region of Ganmon, a place which is officially part of Zhao but mostly outside its real control. Only a small group—Bananji, his son Fyuuji, Kotsuminhaku, the brave Kaine, and their comrades—defended Ganmon until Zhao sent a skilled commander like Riboku to strengthen the Ganmon defences.

I have to admit, though, that during this current Qin-Zhao war, many of us have complained that Riboku is the only one moving from one battlefield to another, acting as each unit’s personal commander and saving the day, except at the Seika, Sunsuiju-Bananji, and Fyuuji-Kotsuminhaku battlefields. That he, along with Shunsuiju and Shibashou, is the only one who can firmly hold the defensive lines for their armies shows his humility toward his men.

Since the Gyou campaign, he hasn’t once got angry or complained about his General’s blunder. Instead, he moved on, found new ways to address the current problems, and simply gave orders. How lenient can such a General be, man? I still cannot fathom how he and the Qin king failed to see eye to eye on China’s destiny. Furthermore, Riboku is believed to come from a noble family, as his attire suggests, despite losing his family in the chaos of war, as his story with Houken revealed.

When all is said and done, Riboku stands as the lone commander-in-chief of the sprawling Zhao kingdom—a vast, formidable land. He is a figure worthy of respect. If competent great generals like Karin, Shouheikun, and the rest of China acknowledge his greatness, then who are YOU to argue?

To those who mockingly claim, “Riboku is printing out soldiers out of his arse,” kindly take your nonsense elsewhere. This is the art of war, which aligns with the real history. If you cannot grasp its complicated details, do yourself a favour and study the real history before you come back posting anything about him printing. That’s all.

u/ThizZuMs, I need your attention, bro. Riboku stands as the very embodiment of nobility. Please, just one more meeting between Riboku and the Qin king before Riboku dies. I eagerly await the moment he emotionally gives his last order to one of his loyal men (or maybe even Kaine) to sneak past the enemy lines and deliver a letter straight to the Qin King, finally revealing the real story of Riboku’s death, whether in battle or by execution, guided by Sei's dream of unification and his wish to meet him for the second time.

Edit: Honestly, it’s about time people stopped complaining that my posts are AI-generated. Like, what the f, what’s the big deal here? I only use AI to fix a few of my grammar issues, nothing more. Grammarly.com has been a game changer for me, especially since English is my second language. I mean, I had to go through my text 10 times before I felt it was good enough to post. I’ve had enough of your accusations.

Manga Spoilers Kou's rebuttal to the queen mother at Rou Ai's execution

I just finished this part of the manga where Ryofui is defeated. Does anyone else really not like her little moment after the queen mother crashes out over Sei seemingly decrees he will be executing her kids?

She starts crying and saying she should have been there for Sei this whole time and she shouldn't say all those vile things, which is fair and all but holy shit her kids are about to be fucking executed! Why would that matter now? Does she expect the queen mother to just sit there and think "I was shitty to Sei, so I should be fine with him killing my kids". It just left a bitter taste in my mouth; the scene was amazing aside from that.

Sorry if this was a bit shittily written I am only processing this now, anyone have any thoughts on this moment?

Discussion The coldest thing Shin ever said taught me how legendary weapons work Spoiler

Note: the chapter is in the title. Opponent's face is blacked out to avoid any possible spoil.

Shin never speaks in metaphor, he's too direct for that.

But remember his speech about 'light?' And Ei Sei's? light/chi/life force gets released upon death and goes to friends ,but also, enemies.

And that Chi gets 'woven' into the identity of the person (thing?) it goes into. That's why the chapters where Shin is talking about his strength is called 'woven' and its about how he's fighting with/from the memories of all the people who died around him.

What if it goes into the blades that took the life? This is literally what shin's saying, in this panel. It doesn't mean 'the whole soul,' just a tiny fraction of each person's energy gets soaked into it, I think. Bc of what Ei Sei and Shin said about it before. The energy also goes into people, and the sky and stuff.

I thought about it, and the whole legendary weapon deal clicked.

The Shiyuu are assassins who chose their successor with a bloody battle, and pass down their swords over generations. The White Phoenix and Kyoukai's sword are very old and have taken very many lives.

The Bakuya sword, as we're told, is powerful because the great swordsmiths who made it were also killed by it as it's first kill.

Rei can talk to her sword, because her sword has like 1/1000th of each, of thousands of souls in it

Discussion How come Ousen knew about Ordo invading Zhao but not about SBS defeating Ordo

This feels like a plot hole to me

Ousen gets to know Ordo is invading Zhao

But doesn't hear about SBS defeating him

Because if he did then Hango would have been different

Discussion Riboku Respect thread part 2 Battle of Bayou. Why Riboku surpassed Ouki. Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
18 Upvotes

Riboku's victory over Ouki that granted him the position of prime minister. For this war he created a multi-layered plan in order to trap the legendary great general.
He researched Ouki's history, found the best terrain for a trap and created nation-wide information blocade to hide his army. Then he made Houken commander-in-chief of Zhao and leaked this information to Qin in order to lure Ouki out. What's interesting is that Ouki was able to figure out that he's being lured into a trap based on Chousou's tactics, but he incorrectly estimated their arrival due to lack of experience in the north and it was all within Riboku's expectations. Here Ouki admits of being outplayed and that he doesn't have a plan for this situation It's often brought up that Riboku used Houken in this battle, but it's also worth noting that Ouki himself had two GG-level commanders - Tou and Moubu. Who in many ways are more valueble then Houken due to being actual commanders.

Discussion Riboku is hated by the community because he fights with a numerical advantage

A true genius is one that can turn the tide of the battle with their backs against the wall

Riboku always fights with numerical superiority

All his wins are when he outnumbers the opponents and has trump cards like Houken and SBS

He has never fought in a disadvantage and thats why he doesn't feel like a genius

Edit I see a lot of people saying his genius is in organizing armies and moving people That still doesn't address my claim Which is it makes for a bad skill expression in battle

Discussion Riboku Respect Thread by Cichy Well-Known Member on Fanverse. “Since a lot of people has a problem with Riboku's potrayal in the manga, I wan't to discuss in details his achievements in warfare as well as grand strategy and politics in context to his potrayal”. Part 1 Spoiler

Riboku's first big victory in the series where he launched an offensive into Xiongnu territory and defeated them in an open battle. Before talking about the scale of this feat let's first estimate how strong the Xiongnu army was, since we've never seen them in action Here Yotanwa says that Xiongnu Army is on a completely different level then any other tribes she fought. Then Eisei mentions how three enemy states agreed to built a giant wall just to defend against them. Here Banyou calls Ganmon "the land of death that surpassess even the struggles of plains". While it's unclear what exactly he mean by this, it's an indication of Xiongnu's reputation. Despite this, Riboku's victory over them was very swift and he was fighting on enemy's terrain in plains while being on significant number disadvantage (200k vs 130k).Here Yotanwa calls the battle "Completely one-sided slaughter". It was also mentioned that Riboku personally assassinated multiple Xiongnu commanders on the battlefield, although it's unclear if it was during this battle or even before that.
