Just a while ago. It looked fine when I inspected it. But now there's more light and I got a spot to better look at the car.
The spare tire looks tilted downwards. Is it really like this or do I need to have my rear door repaired?

Can anyone tell me if this noise is normal? It is coming from the rear differential. It only happens after I drive a few kilometers and then try to shift into Reverse; that’s when this clunk/impact is heard. The vehicle only has 41,200 km.

I'm Panameian, the ninth of October we were hit by a 7.7 magnitude earthquake, in our capital there were no mayor damages, In the provinces it was another story.
The exact number of affected people is not yet known.
I've been giving aid this past week mainly in the province of Herrera, one of the most affected provinces.
This past Saturday we set of in a Humanitarian Caravan we were about 26 cars.
We managed to give out a bunch of help, in great part thanks to our Jimnys we managed to give help to areas of difficult access.
This ain't over, there's been almost no help from the government, but a bunch of help from the people.

Im close to buying my first Jimny this year. im going for a 5 doors 2027.
I wanted advices on the color for the car, i live in a city where its mainly beaches and not much extreme offroad so that would be the main use. it will be my only car for everyday use and time to time beach rides.
i like every color but maintainment wise want to pick the right choice
I've heard the black one makes the scratches very visible and its hard to keep clean.
Jungle green is not sold in my country so its not an option. Which color would you choose in this situation and why?

Just an FYI. I have a jimny in Texas. I just bought an oil filter from amazon and it fit perfectly. installed two days ago. I bought this one.
Oil Filter I bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002EBSLA4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Oil I bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ICSWGJ0?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
I buy full synthetic oil for these little turbos. I found a shop .5 miles from me that will do it for $35 bucks if I provide the oil and they do a great job.

Does anyone have any tips on sound dampening and decent speaker upgrades? In Ireland if that matters.

This is for anyone missing oomph but not willing to pull the trigger on a turbo or supercharger setup. I went the naturally aspirated route and wanted to share how it turned out on my 2025 5-door MT.
Setup:
To be clear: there is no turbo. It’s still naturally aspirated. AVO sells a turbo kit too, but I didn’t order it or their map. I contacted AVO Turbo Australia through their website, told them what I wanted, and they sent me a list of parts to order. I’m in the EU, so everything had to be shipped from Australia.
Results
Road dyno with a GPS logger: 2nd gear wide open throttle pull from 2,000 rpm to cut off, then coast down to calculate driveline losses. Result is 126-131 hp and a consistent 160-161 Nm. Chart attached is from my lowest run.
I know this isn’t a proper dyno, so the numbers are indicative. We did several runs on a flat stretch in the same conditions and got consistent results. I didn’t do a baseline before the install, so I can only compare to the factory 102 hp / 130 Nm. Even if the real gain is closer to 20%, it’s a noticeable difference I can feel every day on the road.
It’s not turbo-level power and it won’t turn the Jimny into a fast car. But if what bothers you is that gutless feeling when you need to pass someone, this goes a long way for less money and some hassle.
Fuel economy after about 700 km looks similar as before, around 9.0-9.4 L/100 km. The setup still has a cat in the front pipe.

I just bought a pair of bosch aerofit 16-inch for my Jimny JB74 but the right side isn’t touching at the glass at the edge and they make a squeak sound when they reach the highest point. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Seriously considering buying a Jimmy for quite some time now and I know I’m about to ask probably the most subjective question ever but… if you wanted the best all rounder in “difficult conditions” whether it be snow or sand/gravel would you go 3 doors or 5 doors, manual or auto? Also thinking about pushing some more power, turbo or supercharger?

Does anyone have experience with the following steps I like the design and the use of existing mounting points. But I have heard about the rubber bushings having to be removed ? Daily drive so don't fancy being rattled to bits when out and about ?
Thanks All !!
