The card says "You may lie — or provide a false photo — for one of the next three questions that the seekers ask. As always, you must send a photo of this curse when cast." What exactly does false photo mean because the rule book does not elaborate on it if I am not mistaken. Does this mean I can send them a photo of a card like veto, randomise or move??? I could make the seekers think I randomised and thus they proceed to ask a "random" question. In reality they actually asked 2 and it gives the hider twice the reward. More than likely, the randomised question will not be of use to the seekers giving the hiders 2 cards for little to no information. On top of that the seekers still don't know if the answer given for the randomised question is true and can be trusted as they don't know the hider has already lied.

Maybe gonna be splitting this into a few parts if yall like this cause, y'know, there's 18 spots over 4 games (9, 12, 13.5 and 16. Soon to be 5 games with Season 20.) and I'd rather not this post be a mile long.
Before we start, I'm gonna be ranking on a few things: Spot Strength, Fun Score and Vibes.
Spot Strength (SS) is about how good the spot is. Fun Score (FS) is for how enjoyable the spot is and how much culture you can learn/experience in the spot. And Vibes is just, vibes. Also I'm ranking based on my own opinion. In addition, I'm not a professional rater.
Hospental
This spot had the lowest score in S9. Additionally the lowest score in a large game. So for SS I'd rank it a 3/10. Adam had a wonderful time in the place, but frankly, the snow and the only thing interesting there being a castle, kinda ruins the fun for me personally, though if played sometime else, I'd bump the FS up to a 6/10, since honestly, the castle seems fun and it seems like a nice town. And since it seems like a nice town, so for Vibes I'd give it a 7/10. Partially buffed by Adam hiding in it and S11 ending in it. Total: 16/30.
Merlischachen
Very, very good score in S9. And the town seems like a good place to hide, in addition it being in another lake than the one people will assume, for SS, I'd give it a fine score of 7/10. As Ben said the only notable restaurant in there is fondue, which is good, but uh... I'd get sick of it. 6/10 for FS? For Vibes? It's just a fun place frankly, and walking around the town gives some good vibes at least looking at Ben walking around the place, 7/10. Total: 20/30
Winterthur
It's a city, which would make for a nightmarish endgame, but the thing is that a city is a normal place you'd go to transfer trains, and like what happened to Sam, they'd just figure out that you're there, like Adam pointed out. But if played correctly, I think the place could be a really good run. For SS, I'll give it a 7/10. For FS, cities are a place with more experiences than anywhere else, so it should be more fun. Easy scoring, 9/10. I mean, Sam even had fun in the woods! (Can't say the same for Adam and Ben though.) For Vibes, honestly, I like cities' vibes personally, and most people I know do too, though pollution, cars, yada yada yada, 7/10. Total: 23/30
Steffisburg
I'm not sure how to rate this one. To be frank, Adam showed basically nothing about the place in his run. Most of the finale was Sam and Ben (Team Alpha Force 10 seasons ago.) struggling. And that's why I don't know how to rate it. Because of this, I'm just gonna give FS a 5/10. For SS, it won Adam the game, but I don't think the spot could've worked if he didn't run. So, 7/10? For Vibes, average score, 5/10. Total: 17/30.
Yamadera
Great spot, very good time, maybe due to starting from Tokyo, leading to the most options ever? Eh, who knows? I think a decent score of 8/10 for SS is good. For FS, I'd have a great time there, even though I don't like the mountains, hiking up there and seeing a wonderful view and having an even more wonderful time in town leads to a high score. 8/10 seems fair. For Vibes? Oh my god, the vibes are booming in there, I went there shortly after Season 13 ended on a trip to Japan and I loved the place. Visiting the place ignoring Ben's Hide and Seek run was really nice regardless, but again, there are gonna be downsides, so let's do 8/10 again. Total: 24/30.
Tobiyama Castle Site
Wow, castle again? Sure. For SS, the light rail was really clever and I think Adam just got bad luck when Sam found the tallest building on accident looking at the station. Hiding here would've spelled some trouble for Sam and Ben if they didn't find him like Sam and Adam found Ben in Kendal. Though I'm not sure how that would play out. 6.5/10. For FS? Castle stuff, pretty fun, but not much was shown. But looking around on Google Maps, I'm gonna give it another 6.5/10. For Vibes? The area around the castle, which I assume is why Adam went there, had great vibes. The town? Fine. 7/10. Total: 20/30.
Current Rankings:
Yamadera-Winterthur-Merlischachen/Tobiyama Castle Site-Steffisburg-Hospental.
Should I make Part 2 and 3?

I’ve noticed a lot of comments talking about splitting up Badam more often and even doing random team pairings in the first episode of future seasons. While I think that would be entertaining to watch, I really don’t think it’s feasible.
People always talk a lot about how different pairings would perform in the game, but It’s important to note that the players spend virtually all waking hours together for 7 days. Not only are you pairing them up for screen chemistry, but they also have to be comfortable spending up to 100 hours together for ALL of the transit and (I assume most) off screen time. It’s not so easy to just randomly pair someone with someone they’ve hardly met for that amount of time.
Most guests have been on through Sam as he’s been on YouTube much longer and obviously met and connected with many more people in that time frame, and (no matter how awesome Ben and Adam might be) it would be difficult for Sam to ask a friend to join the show and then spend the entirety of 7 days with a person they’ve never met before.

I was on a team with Ben, against Sam and Adam. I don't know what the broader goal was but we were on the Canadian Border somewhere in Manitoba or Saskatchewan and had the challenge to climb a tree and call the 'Tree Department' from there. I don't know what the Tree Department is, but I do remember their phone number had a large number of 3's. Unfortunately, Sam and Adam (who were climbing the same tree) beat us to it. Ben then asked if I was alright to continue and encouraged me to lock in. I woke up soon after
Season 21 Leaks? /s

Remember how long Adam's streak was? started in S13 and ended in S19.
Now remember when Tom appeared? S13 on opposing team of Adam, and S19 of same team of Adam.
See my point? At this rate, if Adam kept losing, just invite Tom for another game with them being opponents(Tom schedule when

I would love to see a creator vs all guests that have appeared on the show before in a race from the northernmost to the southernmost point of india (not just continental)

Hey everyone,
I'm trying to get other people hooked on Jet Lag and I'm trying to find the best season to Introduce them to. Personally, I've always been doing Season 8 (Arctic Escape) since it's pilot episode is short and it was my first season I watched but I want to hear your opinions?
I could see an argument for Hide and Seek since every episode is technically it's own story (kinda) with it starting with the hider starting and ending when the rider gets caught.

I was playing a round of the home game with my friends and we came to a dispute on whether a hiding spot was legal. There was no sign saying private property that was seen. The dispute came from the seekers claiming the hiders staying in the hiding spot for an extended period of time could “cause suspicion or create the potential to get kicked out.”
Ultimately the hiders revealed their spot after the seekers asked for them to. Afterwards the seekers claimed the spot was illegal for the aforementioned reasons.
The attached pictures are the property that was hid on (with the hiding spot circled) and the rule book.
With this information do you think the hiding spot was legal? We are basing our verdict off of the top comment 😅
edit: Verdict is that it was illegal, thanks for upvoting comments

I've been rewatching all of Jet Lag as background distraction while working over the last couple weeks and have noticed something I'd love to see emphasized for a season.
I really want a season that is team vs team that includes a lot of direct in-person interaction. Almost every time teams end up together creates great moments. New Zealand had Auckland and elsewhere. Capture the Flag, though flawed, had a lot of great moments with various mixes of the team members. Japanorama had a couple good moments.
They can design a game that either forces this or encourages it. I have a couple ideas, but won't get specific here. I'm sure the team could come up with something.
A couple thoughts. Competitive challenges are great, but in most seasons with challenges, if both teams attempt a challenge, the one who loses is punished so much that teams usually avoid the situation. Giving a losing team a softer landing could help.
Doing this does require limited branching of paths, but this has worked well. And, this could bring into play geographies that don't have a widely branching system.
